However, I had gel nails done, and my friend had acrylics done. I absolutely rate ZERO stars for the gel nails. Unfortunately, the tech was not at all experienced, and it took much too long to have my nails done. It's only been two days and one of them has broken because of the product used being inferior. As far as the acrylics go, although they were completed very quickly and they looked nice,.I can tell you, that I am extremely disappointed in how much work had to be done to shape the nails correctly and clean them up after the appointment. Yes, we were from out of town, and we are not their normal customers. However, we paid full price as did everyone else. It cost almost $400 with tip, to have our nails and toes done. I did see some BEAUTIFUL work being done on regulars that were there, but my experience was not so good.

I think she was trying to break up the product, but in the process she broke my natural nails as well. Needless to say, the service went downhill from there and I was back only 6 days after having gotten my new dipped nails (on much shorter nails due to aforementioned damage) because they were chipped and cracked. I did get a refund but after I removed the product myself by slowly soaking them off (I didn't want them to do anything else with my nails), noticed damage on my nail bed as well. They answer the phone by placing the caller on hold without a word. *IF* you can get them to pick up after being on hold then they will answer one question such as "Does XXX have any openings for a trim in two weeks?", they will answer "No" and promptly hang-up so that you cannot ask about the following week or month. Often, the phone just rings and rings. This behavior has gotten worse over the past year. I'm not sure if it is an employee issue or a management issue.
