    $37.45 for One 2" x 1/2" piece of leather

One 2" x 1/2" piece of leather was to be re stitched instead they replaced with inferior leather bad stitching and charged $37.45 is a total total rip off and they know it! I've been coming here since 1995. I referred many of my clients to The Store and yet was basically told there's nothing we can do. "We're sorry too bad", not even any customer service, so rude. I would never recommend them again. It's a shame a real shame we were we worked hard to get you back in this location with the town of Stuart and this is how you treat your people that have been loyal to you all this time. Goodbye..

SCW and I have been here a few times for shoe repairs. They really do a great job on whatever she brings in. The interior of the store is spacious and very clean with quite a few brands available. Brooks, OOfos, and more available here. You can also get a variety of good quality running/walking/compression socks here as well. If you need some shoe polish of course they have it here. There is also a podiatrist available. Parking is in the back and quite convenient. The service has always been great. I've found the cost for any shoe repairs reasonable and I will certainly be back again.

I took a belt to Nobile Shoes in Stuart to get another hole punched in the belt. They took care of it and to my surprise did not charge me. I was so impressed and decided to bring any future repairs to them. Fast forward and I brought in another leather belt that needed replacement leather at each end of the buckle. They kept the belt and said they would contact me with an estimate. After a week, they still did not call with a price. So I called them and was told it would be a total of $50. I informed them that was too expensive and that I would pick-up the belt. When I went in to pick up the belt they said it was already repaired. Their mistake, so I asked if they would offer me a reduced price. No. So the repair person decided to remove the repair and gave me back a ruined belt. This included throwing out the original leather parts they removed without permission. Extremely disappointed in the service.

You can see where my husband cut the fabric. You can see where Dan PAINTED the grey paint and stuck the brown heal end on.

My husband took in a pair of my shoes to Nobile Shoe Repair that he tried to make a little bit lower in height. He admittedly should not have tried to do it but took the shoes to Nobile where they said they would try to lower the heals to where I wanted them lowered to. I called after a week and a half and the woman who answered the phone told me that I shouldn't be calling, that they would call me when the shoes were done. So we waited to hear from them, nothing. When my husband called, the person who answered the phone said they were really busy and she didn't know where my shoes were, that she would have to go "into the back room" to find them. My husband told her he had the ticket with the intake number on it and she said that she didn't need it. My husband went in yesterday, Jan 5, 2023, to pick them up and said the store was a mess, that the ticket wasn't needed, and they finally found my shoes. He looked at them and was so disappointed in the job they did/didn't do he left. He is not one to argue with anyone which is why he didn't ask what happened. When I took them out of the bag, I couldn't believe what they did or actually didn't do, they were supposed to lower the metal piece within the heal to where my husband cut. They said they would probably have to replace the metal rod within the heel. I wore them to my dress fitting at that height so that is the height I needed them repaired to. All Dan did was stick the brown plastic bit on the end and PAINTED the metal piece grey, didn't do anything else to them. I called yesterday and Darcy answered the phone and said Dan told her that they couldn't fix them as we needed them done, that he called my husband to let him know he couldn't do it because I would "get hurt" wearing/walking in them. My husband NEVER received a call from Dan with ANY explanation before they painted them. It most definitely was my decision to make, not theirs! Darcy said Dan would call me back and I got received no phone call from him or the store. So now, I will only be able to wear them for this event but will never be able to wear them with a short dress, therefor will have to throw them away. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone, please look at the pictures of how they gave them back to me AND they charged us $26.68 for some paint!

My first time getting shoes repaired. These are my favorite pair of shoes and I didn't want to go buy another pair and break in the leather again. I dropped them off Tuesday morning and picked them up today (Thursday). Very quick service! And the shoes look better than when I first bought them. Nicer quality soles. Highly recommend and glad we have a skilled cobbler in the area.

Top leather cut and poor workmanship

Made me orthotics 5 years ago that are still going strong. Good shoe collection; they will order your shoe if not in stock.

Poor workmanship. I'm surprised - they have been around forever. Really poor repair. They need to give better service and repair!

To fund their mission Treasure Coast Hospice operates this thrift store in Stuart as well as a new location in Port St. Lucie which I hope to visit. This store has a boutique look to it, There are several rooms filled with neatly organized clothing, furniture, household goods, collectibles, holiday items including a large Christmas area, furniture, books, small appliances, jewelry, accessories, and collectibles. I scored 5 Brita water filters for $10. My favorite item was a set of Franklin Mint Gone with the Wind Collectible figurines in the display case but they were $250 so there they stayed. That is the retail price because there is a set going for the same price on Ebay right now. I love the mission of this organization and the sales staff was very friendly. If you are looking for a more upscale thrifting experience this is a very nice store to browse.

It also is a bit bigger inside than you'd imagine from the exterior entrance. They obviously have some folks really researching price values as there weren't many bargains. That being said, if you've been searching for a specific item here and finally find it, then buy it. We saw quite a number of well-dressed ladies scoping out the gently used clothing. And happy with some of the name brands they were finding. I imagine this is on a route for the "ladies that lunch" to make the journey from West Palm to find a bargain. We didn't see anything for us, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't find something here. I'd still come back if in the area again.
