These people are dishonest and have horrible customer service. The manager said I could return a pair of sandals within 7 days if there was an issue, as long as they were worn inside. I wore them inside for only one day and they didn't work for me as they were pinching my feet. When I went back to the store, not only did they refuse to do an exchange or refund, but the manager would not even come out to speak to me. Horrible experience. read more

One 2" x 1/2" piece of leather was to be re stitched instead they replaced with inferior leather bad stitching and charged $37.45 is a total total rip off and they know it! I've been coming here since 1995. I referred many of my clients to The Store and yet was basically told there's nothing we can do. "We're sorry too bad", not even any customer service, so rude. I would never recommend them again. Dr, Nobile who owns Nobile shoes helped me by recommending flip flops made by oohfs that are particularly meant for athletes. I was having extreme pain in my feet since I was a gymnast and did tumbling on a hard wood floor when competing free exercise. I had been walking barefoot which was a big mistake. On my most recent trip on a cruise ship I was able to wear the flip flops all the time everywhere it was a savior for me. I wear their newest footwear when I go for my personal training instead of the flip flops. I have the flip flops in 5 colors. read more

SCW and I have been here a few times for shoe repairs. They really do a great job on whatever she brings in. The interior of the store is spacious and very clean with quite a few brands available. Brooks, OOfos, and more available here. You can also get a variety of good quality running/walking/compression socks here as well. If you need some shoe polish of course they have it here. There is also a podiatrist available. Parking is in the back and quite convenient. The service has always been great. I've found the cost for any shoe repairs reasonable and I will certainly be back again. read more

I took a belt to Nobile Shoes in Stuart to get another hole punched in the belt. They took care of it and to my surprise did not charge me. I was so impressed and decided to bring any future repairs to them. Fast forward and I brought in another leather belt that needed replacement leather at each end of the buckle. They kept the belt and said they would contact me with an estimate. After a week, they still did not call with a price. So I called them and was told it would be a total of $50. I informed them that was too expensive and that I would pick-up the belt. When I went in to pick up the belt they said it was already repaired. Their mistake, so I asked if they would offer me a reduced price. No. So the repair person decided to remove the repair and gave me back a ruined belt. This included throwing out the original leather parts they removed without permission. Extremely disappointed in the service. read more

Terrible Shoe Repair. Nobile always had a good reputation but something has gone very wrong. My boyfriend and I have each tried them several times for shoe repair. The results were the worst quality I have ever seen. Very sloppy work with glue smeared on the fabric of the shoe and the work does not hold up. They are expensive and, at times, even rude. My husband took in a pair of my shoes to Nobile Shoe Repair that he tried to make a little bit lower in height. He admittedly should not have tried to do it but took the shoes to Nobile where they said they would try to lower the heals to where I wanted them lowered to. I called after a week and a half and the woman who answered the phone told me that I shouldn't be calling, that they would call me when the shoes were done. So we waited to hear from them, nothing. When my husband called, the person who answered the phone said they were really busy and she didn't know where my shoes were, that she would have to go "into the back room" to find them. My husband told her he had the ticket with the intake number on it and she said that she didn't need it. My husband went in yesterday, Jan 5, 2023, to pick them up and said the store was a mess, that the ticket wasn't needed, and they finally found my shoes. He looked at them and was so disappointed in the job they did/didn't do he left. He is not one to argue with anyone which is why he didn't ask what happened. When I took them out of the bag, I couldn't believe what they did or actually didn't do, they were supposed to lower the metal piece within the heal to where my husband cut. They said they would probably have to replace the metal rod within the heel. I wore them to my dress fitting at that height so that is the height I needed them repaired to. All Dan did was stick the brown plastic bit on the end and PAINTED the metal piece grey, didn't do anything else to them. I called yesterday and Darcy answered the phone and said Dan told her that they couldn't fix them as we needed them done, that he called my husband to let him know he couldn't do it because I would "get hurt" wearing/walking in them. My husband NEVER received a call from Dan with ANY explanation before they painted them. It most definitely was my decision to make, not theirs! Darcy said Dan would call me back and I got received no phone call from him or the store. So now, I will only be able to wear them for this event but will never be able to wear them with a short dress, therefor will have to throw them away. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone, please look at the pictures of how they gave them back to me AND they charged us $26.68 for some paint! read more

Do not go there if you have nice shoes to be repaired. Left them $1000 pair of my favorite Manolos for heel tips and rubber sole pads...they call me over 10 days later and tell me one of the straps are missing. Now these are an ankle strap style attached to an O ring chain, so the strap cannot just slip off. I had recently worn then to a wedding and they were completely functional. Now mind you the "strap" is Attached to the O ring, so it had to be literally removed by them. Why on earth would I leave them a very obviously unwearable shoe and pay them $75 for heel tips and rubber sole. I hope to find an honest and reputable company to make a matching strap. I should've listened to the bad reviews here on designer items. They took no accountability or apology and all the employees I encountered from drop off to pick up are rude and obnoxious. PSA! I am beyond disappointed with the service I received at Nobile Shoes. I showed the representative my authentic Gucci belt, which was a gift (and a total splurge) from my husband, and requested that two holes be added. I even pointed out that it was leather on one side and canvas on another. However, when they returned the belt, it was botched! I could have done better with a hole punch at home. Despite bringing this to the owner's attention, they refused to rectify the situation. Please beware when taking luxury items to Nobile. Nobile shoes damaged my brand new designer shoes. They were supposed to submit an insurance claim but instead decided to repair them. The photos attached are the photos after they repaired the cuts they made. Obviously still cut. They refused to reimburse me for the cost of my shoes. Dan asked for another chance to repair them. I have filed suit in small claims. In mediation Dan Nobile offered 300 dollars for my trouble and to repair the shoes. Because the shoes cost over 1000.00 I declined his offer and we are preparing for trial. In the meantime, please take precautions when taking your shoes to Dan Nobile at Nobile shoes. I have since had protective soles placed on a different pair of designer shoes by a Cobbler down south in Palm Beach County and the workmanship is night and day. BEWARE OF NOBILE SHOES. read more

I dropped off a pair of high heel shoes, simply tips on the heels. 2 co-workers dropped off a pr of shoes as well. We paid in advance. They both got calls within a week that those shoes were done. I waited and waited. 2 wks later I called and they couldn't find my order. After locating it I was told they were done. I retrieved them, wore once and 1 heel tip fell off before the end of the day. I us to come here often for shoe repair. Prices have gone way way up and the staff this particular afternoon was not pleasant. An older lady had better things to do such as rearranging the store as I waited in line behind a woman for twenty minutes as two staff members had to sort out a problem. I asked the original lady who was rearranging if she could get the shoes I was picking up. She muttered "they will be with you soon." Good grief! Since I wear them everyday for work, and nurse shoes are just...well...hideous, came in to try on a few pair I had a wonderful sales lady, Barbara was great. She was very attentive to my needs despite the fact there was a line of people waiting for service. She took the time to properly measure my feet, brought out 2 sizes of each shoe i wanted to try and even suggested another style that might be more appropriate for my narrow feet. But it was her attentiveness and patience that impressed me the most. She spent a good amount of time with me without pressuring me or making me feel rushed. I have been here at least 5 times now for shoe repairs. The service personnel is prompt, courteous and helpful. My shoes are always well repaired and the repairs have always held up. Repairs have ranged from replacing the sole on my high heels to broken straps. It's also reasonably priced. I've been charged from $10 - $12 for these repairs. I will NEVER shop Nobile Shoes again. Inefficient refund system. Required an upfront FULL payment for shoes I ordered & accepted a personal check for payment. Understand, they had only ONE shoe (right) of the pair to try on because they order only when requested by a customer. When arriving to pick up shoes, the left shoe would not go on my foot; therefore, a return was in order. No problem until I was told they could not give me cash. I had paid by check & demanded a cash return. Their policy is to refund by check & mail to customer. I refused to accept the policy. After Unanswered phone calls & texts to owner, they still refused to accommodate me. I refused to leave the store until they heard from owner which never happened. Finally,after over an hour, they gave up & gave me cash. I knew my check had cleared the bank and wasn't taking a chance that my refund would get lost in the shuffle & I'd never get my money. BEWARE if you shop here. Always pay by credit card so an immediate refund will be honored. The products and sales staff were good. The pricing of shoes were within expected range vs wholesale pricing from online retailers. What I was surprised about was the cost of a shoe shine. Coming from NYC, where costs are very high, I think the highest shoe shine with tip I ever spent was $7. The cost for a mid range to mid range minus shoe shine in this store, was $12, totally NOT worth it. I asked the sales person if this was a mistake and was told no, this is the going rate. One of my boots had the heel detached, so because I am new to FL and found here good reviews on this place, I decided to go there and left for repair. They did the worst job EVER. If I could give zero stars, I would. My mother and I went in to look for shoes. Both women working there had the WORST attitude-- why-- I don't have a clue. They never acknowledged us when we walked in, we stood around for 10 minutes before we tackled one to ask some questions as this was my 1st time (and now last) there. abrupt, curt replies with a "oh please- you idiot- why don't you know?!" tone was laced throughout her reply. We still attempted to salvage this as we were going to buy 3 pairs I had picked out-- giving smiles as we politely asked for assistance... But--when she went to get the shoes, she took a stack of paperwork with her and "hid" in the storeroom for honestly- 15 minutes. When I asked the other woman if I could at least start trying on one pair, she snapped at me that the other woman was, "working on it". Mom and looked at each other and decided that they must not need the business... Too bad. If you can find other alternatives to spend your shoe dollars, start with other places first for a kinder, nicer experience. We will. read more
