TERRIBLE - this is the review I'm posting on behalf of my mother - she texted me the whole thing and I'm just pasting it for her. Anyone who lets animals be treated like this should be ASHAMED of themselves!!! Anyway, she said, "I will never take my 4 kitties to Noah's Ark again. The first time: 1) Xandra said she'd text me about them and send photos. She sent nothing. I asked her about it when I picked them up and she said, "I was too busy." Period. 2) We went to get the cats and my babes were lying on the throws I brought in, which were soaked with what seemed like a mixture of pee and water, AND several feces were smeared on the throws. 3) I brought exactly how much food they would eat in 12 days with notes on how much to feed them. I got almost half of it back! My youngest, 3 years, felt super skinny when I picked him up. 4) The cats were each to get nail trims. Xandra said she could only do two. Get a helper, maybe? 5) I brought the kennel a bag of litter. They said to if I wanted the cats to have what they're used to. The bag lasts a week at home. The cats were boarded 12 days and I got about 2/3 of it back. 6) Xandra started to collect money even though I had paid in full when I dropped them off. Then she texted me a receipt (which included only 3 cats) for a lesser amount than I originally paid. (I got a receipt when I paid.) ... A fiasco from beginning to end. We lost our dog after being rushed to the ER straight from picking her up. Nobody sought medical care to a dying dog laying on the floor unresponsive and barely conscious. Owner Nathan is a charm and his lack of empathy and consideration showed how much he actually cares about these innocent souls. I can just imagine what the owner's version to a review like this will be but in the end dated and timestamped medical documentation has but one version. I never boarded my dogs before (my mother always babysits my dogs when I am away). I got married in Las Vegas on 4-28-18 and boarded 2 of my dogs at Noah's ark, and the other 2 at the vet. The ones that stayed at the vet looked traumatized when we picked them up. The ones that stayed at Noah's ark were happy, you can tell they were well cared for and got lots of attention. Back to the story- The day before my wedding, I was not a happy bride to be. There was some family drama (my mom and brother were in a fight, brother chose to not attend my wedding, didn't call me to tell me, etc..) and all this drama put me in a really bad mood. I woke up and was laying in bed when my husband looked at his phone, and said "oh my god." I asked him "what now?" and he showed me a photo that totally turned my mood around, I couldn't help but laugh and smile. It was a text message and photo of my German Sheppard and Pitbull "getting ready for the wedding." My German Sheppard was wearing a fancy top hat, and my pitbull was in a pink flower headband with several pearl necklaces. It was hilarious. My pitbull also texted us that Rex, my German Shepard gave her a diamond, and they were engaged . My dog sent a photo of the diamond! Lois at Noah's Ark is a sweet heart, because of her, I was able to laugh and forget about the drama, and enjoy myself and my husband on our special weekend. I will never ever board my dogs anywhere but here!! Like I said, I had to board my other dogs at the vet and when picked up from the vet, you could tell they did not enjoy their stay there. This is a great place for doggy daycare or for boarding. I use it for both. My dog Pepper loves going here. He reminds us on the days he is suppose to go play with his friends. I'm very upset with this facility. I boarded my two dogs there. When I dropped them off they were healthy and okay. When I picked them up I had to take them to the vet and they were sick. My dog ended up having an upper respiratory issue and something called Kennel cough? I stopped by to discuss what happened and they were just rude about everything. I was given an attitude. They seemed to not care and made it as if it wasn't important to them. We also received some other items that belonged to other animals that were boarding there. Food included. I heard good things about this boarding kennel that's why I chose them. After this experience I will never bring my dogs here and frankly I don't recommend that you do either. read more

We left our sweet boy at Noah's Ark kennel in Deland while we took our trip to Tennessee.. he has been diagnosed with epilepsy within the past year and it has been quite a roller coaster getting the seizures under control and the medications right. The past couple of months he has finally been doing pretty good to where I actually felt comfortable leaving him for a few days. The ladies at the kennel come off super sweet and loving and Dusty seemed to really like them which put me at ease with leaving him. This was his THIRD stay there!!! Me being the super OCD person I am had Dusty's medications all cut and separated with morning and nighttime meds with the exact dates on them. I also had his food separated and measured for morning and nighttime meals. We sat and explained the medicine and food process and they took notes... (I made sure I repeated my self over and over how important and sensitive he is to his medicine that he can't miss days) and they told us he would be in safe hands. I called after the first day to check on him and was told he was doing good but he had a little diarrhea most likely because of his nerves. Which is completely understandable. I told the kennel to call me if they have any problems. They have mine, my boyfriends, both my parents and my sisters phone numbers listed in case of an emergency or if they have any issues. I never heard anything after. when I got home that following Wednesday afternoon I was absolutely horrified to his condition. His face was a mess with scabs and sores and he looked extremely frail. The lady at the desk said that they stopped feeding him at night to fix his diarrhea Not only did they stop feeding him they also missed days with his medications. Also if they weren't feeding him dinner and on days that they were "supposedly" giving him medicine.. they were doing so on an EMPTY STOMACH!!! Which the directions state take with food. So by not getting his medicines on some days then caused him to have 21 seizures within a 24 hr period of time. I was livid. I called and I wanted answers as to why his medicine wasn't given to him in the morning and at night like it was supposed to and the lady insisted that "her girls" have to Check off boxes every time they give meds and they were all Checked. That they did no wrong. Clearly that was bullshit because he had days left in his box which he had just enough for every day he would spend there. There were 2 nights that his pills were not given to him that they were left in his pill box. So someone there was not doing their job and now my sweet boy is suffering. He lost a total of 8 pounds within a week because they starved him and he is currently being monitored and fighting for his life at AVS in Maitland. I will never ever in a million years recommend this place to anyone. If you care about your animal and want someone who cares for them... DO NOT TAKE THEM THERE. read more

If you care about your dog, don't leave the dog here. I boarded my Golden Doodle here on June 20,2021 for two nights. When I picked him up, he went right past me and headed to the door. Didn't greet me or even jump on me. He ran right to the car and jumped in. (Like get me the F outta here). The two young girls at the counter didn't mention if anything had happened during his stay. Like, "He got in a fight, he wouldn't eat ,he hurt himself or he got loose. I got him home and he was limping and I thought, maybe he hurt his paw. Upon further examination of his coat after petting him, I noticed he had bite marks on his hiney, top of his head and above his eyes and his mid body. Now how TF did that happen? I sent his food with him and the bag came back full except for a half cup. (he was supposed to be fed at least 4 times. My dog is a very friendly dog. I think they put him in with a vicious beast of a dog and let him fight. My dog was traumatized and hid in the laundry room for 5 days. AND was constipated for 3 days!!!On top of that, he came back with Kennel cough. He is still coughing and sneezing. People, find another place with cameras or dog walkers or pay a friend. As the adage says, "This place is for the dogs" and even the dogs shouldn't stay here!!! read more

The worse experience ever. I left a Dane & a small 20 lb dog for 5 days & my bill was $502.60! Really! Ok so it was a holiday but they shared a large kennel. Then we came home on a Sunday & rushed up there to get our babies only to find a million extra charges. Extra charge to pick up on Sunday, extra charge to walk dog or play with dog. Extra charge if you pick up after a certain time. So basically leave the dog there till it works for them to walk 2 feet to open the kennel. Cause... Someone lives right on the property. They were so rude & not at all willing to budge on the price. So this was a very expensive lesson learned. Oh I had to bring my own food & bedding too. read more

We have used this kennel a few times and we are always thrilled with the care given to our dogs. It may not be the cheapest kennel around but it is worth knowing my dogs will be healthy when we return. They even will pick up and deliver which was a lifesaver one year when we were camping! read more

A few weeks ago I left our dachshund mix at Noah's Ark for five days. When I arrived to drop him off I noticed a german shepard in a fenced off area, he seemed to be young and looked as if he had been in there for awhile (also it was cold here at the time so I'm not sure if he was ever put inside at night). I still went in, dropped him off and went out of town. While away I called multiple times and specifically asked if he was eating, they told me he was which I found out later this was untrue. We arrived to pick him up and he was VERY little and thin. I could see his ribs and back bone was starting to show, only after 5 days of being there. The lady handed me his bag which looked untouched meaning his toys never made it to his cage and I don't even believe his food/water bowls made it to his cage either. I looked in the bag and I said he had food/water bowls (which I had washed before dropping him off). She said oh he did as if she had never seen them and she went and found them in the front office. She said oh that's because they were just washed this morning but they looked exactly how I had dropped them off so we're they ever used? I purposely dropped off an entire new bag of puppy food that had never been opened and it was barely missing any food when I picked him up. His bedding had pee all over it and he WILL NOT pee on anything unless it's been over about 12 hours of waiting so how often was he let out. His paws were all red and irritated badly and he had a rash on his stomach as well from what we believe was him laying in his pee for countless days. I just want to warn others that this is NOT a good place to leave your pets, take them elsewhere. read more

07/2018 - New owners as of a few weeks ago have a long way to go in reference to caring for pets . My pet walked out of there with an inflamed infected right ear visible to any eye and it's evident it was ignored .Also found a large sized scab on its head meaning it shed blood from what only God knows . If you phone them while you are away they will yes you to death and tell you all is great with your pet either they are not being honest or they don't know .. A couple of more incidents happened however I think I said enough .. The price is great as they say you get what you pay for .. read more

I have used them in the past and I have to say, they were pretty clear on their charges and the hours they are available for pick up and drop off. As with most kennels price is based on weight of the animal. Not sure why other reviewers were surprised at their bill. Owners live on property, but that does not mean they need to be available for clients 24/7. read more

I boarded with then for 2 years 15 days a year total. The boarding was good., The owner was nice, then it was taken over by a new owner "her partner" She is such a mean person. Although I boarded a few more times , I showed up on a sat at 11:53. to pick up my 2 dogs. the receptionist was on the phone so after she got off around 11:58 then checked me out it was 12:03. So i was charged another day for both dogs after rushing home from a 5 hour drive (46.00 ). I informed the new manager that I arrived before noon. My receipt even said 12:04. She started yelling at me stating I should be on time. I was so angry after they stayed for 5 days costing me 230.00 to treat me like that when i was on time!! Do not use them we took 3 dogs to get a flea dip and when we got them back they still had fleas so we told them and they said if they still have them bring them back and we will dip them again so we did and when we got there they lied right to our face and pretended they had no idea what we where talking about so I would never take your loving pet to this unprofessional facility read more
