Then was told not to bring her much because she didn't have much fur (she's old). We took it as an honest comment. However, we took our other dog (a 5 lb. Shih Tzu). When he was picked up we were told to find another groomer because, they said, he had a seizure. Well he's 10 yrs old and he has NEVER had a seizure. If he had one it was because of the groomer's mishandling. No he doesn't like his face trimmed but I could hold his face in my hand and he would let me trim even around his eyes. Brooke started grooming my dog Swayze when she moved here. She was always caring and did a great…read morejob. When we had to put Swayze to sleep on 8/16/26 it was extremely painful. A few weeks after we lost Swayze and adopted a new dog I called Brooke and sent her a message on facebook. To this day she has never called me back and I just realized today she deleted me from facebook. We were so close and I am shocked that she would treat me this way. This is where Vicki comes into play. Any time I have left them in Vicki's care, I have felt completely at ease. She is always on time, is mindful of any quirks the dogs have, she sends pictures every day and updates and is very responsive if you have any questions for her. Plus I just really like her as a person. She's great! The dogs love her and are always excited to see her. She has so much experience with training dogs and you can see this even from her first interaction with them. She will put your mind at ease and allow you to enjoy your time away. I will not bring my dog back here for grooming. They don't care about your time or your Pet's time…read morethere. My dog Sally was there almost 6 hours and was really thirsty when she got home. To add insult to injury, the grooming was very sub-par also. There idea is for you to get up at the crack of dawn and bring your dog in between 7-9am. It is first come, first served (no appt time, even though you make an appt for that day). We were there by 8:15 and I could not pick her up until 2pm. This is a very bad business model!
