UPDATE**** I have to explain this most recent update as of 9/24 My girls were to go to the daycamp for a much needed play time. Now, after those who tell me if their not so good experiences, ours was terrific. Money was tight last year but this year I couldn't wait to get them more play time. BUT, 2 DAYS BEFORE on a Saturday no less, they cancelled my reservation due to the fact they're vaccine certificate was "Hand written"??? WHAT??? I gave them THE EXACT SAME CERTIFICATE as last year but in this years dates. Now, I go through 3 different reps about this, NOW, they will ACCEPT it . What is that all about? WOW, Do I have to go through this next year? Every year? I am extremely disappointed with Pet Paradise & will have to bring them somewhere else. Where will I bring them on such short notice? If you DO decide to go here, make sure you bring in your loved ones proof IN PERSON so you don't have to deal with this AWFUL situation & their HORRIBLE policies. My pets are without play time & I have to lose my reservation money because of them. SHAME ON THEM!!! ****************************** My girls loved it here. They were rescued as babies and they are still kind of wild. We booked a vacation before we got them so, we left them for 5 days. They got a report card and we were able to see them on cameras. All I can say is, they went over and above what was expected. This was our first overnight and I was very nervous about leaving Mildred. The first comfort came from the person checking us in Ann, she was a true comfort with her conversation and answers to all my questions. I've been taking my highly anxious dog to Pet Paradise for Day Care a couple times a week to socialize and feel more confident being without me and have seen so much progress in him! The staff, especially Ashley, has been exceptional at making him feel comfortable! I could not be any more pleased with how they treat him. I just had to board him for a week and was able to leave in peace knowing how good hands he was left in. Very upset. My English Sheep dog went for a cut. He was SCALPED. I feel like who I wanted to cut him didn't because she has always done a great job. We just had our two pups groomed today and it is the worst grooming we have ever had. Both puppies have areas that are either too short or un touched in other areas. One side of the face on one puppy was un-touched while there were close cut areas on the other side. We were looking forward to a good experience when we saw how nice the facility and staff were when we went in to drop off our two. ABSURDLY pleased with the folks here. I had to go up north for a wedding a few months ago, and would be gone for five days, definitely couldn't leave my kitty at home for that long. I came by out of the blue and asked to take a look at their cat condos, and they brought me in with no problems. The location is clean and bright. The cat condo room is a little noisy because of the air purifier, but it wasn't that bad (especially knowing what all my cat CAN sleep through). I made a reservation with them that day. Although they tell you not to bring bedding for your cat, they had no problem with me bringing a soft bed and some of my clothing to put in her condo. My cat is very shy, so the familiar scents help keep her calmer. The request you pack food in separate containers for each day while your animal is there; I put her dry food in a grocery bag and knotted it for each day. I asked them to be sure she wasn't handled by men, because she is very scared of them, and they made sure to make a note of that. I also told them she may not eat for a day or so, and they noted that too. About two days later, I called to check up on her. They called me back very promptly and gave me a quick update on how she was faring. She wasn't eating much but otherwise just seemed to hang out in her cat condo and sleep. When I returned to pick her up, they recognized me right away. Since she was so nervous, they weren't able to get her into her carrier, so they let me come in and put her away for transit. Last week I made a last minute decision to leave her there again on another trip up north. I was able to call and make a reservation to drop her off that day, and they even recognized her and remembered her from her last stay! One woman walked in, looked in the cat carrier and exclaimed "Little Girl! I remember you!!!" That was just so awesome to know they cared enough to remember her, even a few months later. When I went to pick her up, there was a note on her condo that read: "Very sweet and loving, but shy. Might hide when let out in the room. No men please." It just made me feel so great that they cared enough about her idiosyncrasies to do those things for her. For what it's worth--call and ask them explicitly to list out the vaccines your pet needs to board here. The website and the location needs are not the same; I think this location requires additional vaccinations. As I asked when I went to visit, it was not a problem. Overall, I couldn't be happier with what they've done for my girl. I'm very pleased with their service and with how apparent their concern is for the health and welfare of a pet they hardly know. :) read more

We have used Pet Paradise for both the Day Camp when we're having work done at the house to week long boarding for vacations and have always been totally satisfied with how the staff cares for our dogs. You can tell how a dog like a place just by seeing their reaction when we pull into the parking lot. This place is great! We recently adopted a little dachshund lab mix from a shelter. We had to go away for the weekend and decided to have Annie board here for two nights. We thought putting her in the big room would be best because she was away from the other dogs and when she was at the shelter she was very afraid and stressed from all the other dogs barking. However, her being in the big room wasn't great for her because she hated being alone. The staff here was outstanding and super accommodating! They let her hangout in the office area with them rather than being alone in her room when it wasn't outside play time. They even called us so we could talk on the speaker phone to her! And I got a text from one of the workers showing us a picture of them putting her to work in the office! We used this location for our dog for five days. Upon reserving by phone they asked the series of questions regarding our dog. Upon drop off, they asked the same question about how old our dog was, so we answered again. While on vacation I was excited to learn that I had an email about my dog! When I opened the email, it was a large picture of two dogs and a bio about their stay! The dogs in the picture were not mine. What a disappointment, I emailed them to let them know they had sent the wrong dog information. They updated my dog's status and in the email asked how old my dog was! We were so nervous because they had gone through so much with are move to ormond and then to leave them at a place they didn't know.
