So, during the pandemic I contacted a clinic in Aiea and got my 329 Medical card which allows me to legally buy "medical" grade cannabis and derivative products. This particular dispensary is on the corner of Kalakaua and Seaside, more in the Seaside direction and opposite side of the post office. The first time you visit this or any dispensary you have to fill out their registration form with standard personal info, they copy your DL and 329 card for their records. After first visit you just show your DL and card, proceed through a metal detector, and retrieve your stuff. Then on to temp check and to another window for another check of your docs. It sounds convoluted but it's a snap. Only one person is allowed in the little lobby area at a time. Phew! Now the door opens, everything is security protected, and you're buzzed in. I was so surprised at the bright, shiny and modern look, think jewelry counter with eager product-educated people behind a plexiglass barrier. If you have questions these people are great. All questions are welcome and if you're unsure, they'll ask questions to help you get the product you need for the problem you have. Sleep, pain, nausea, so many ailments can be resolved naturally. There is a website where you can preorder and it will be ready for pick up. An ATM is located inside or they take your debit card but only for your cash limit and a fee is charged for that convenience. All considered cash. There are several dispensaries on Oahu but this has been the best for me. I like the variety and the staff knowledge and professionalism. You may not bring anyone with you into the business unless the person is your registered caregiver thru the 329 process. So far so good with the pain in the knees! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. A medical card is needed in order to make purchases. They have a lot to offer and once you're registered you can make your purchases online and pick up here showing your current medical card and photo ID. Your medical card has to be renewed once a year and is verified each time you're in. I like this facility because it's closer to my home, parking is fronting the store and free.
