Due to our tight schedule and unexpected circumstances, these guys are willing to accommodate our request. From scheduling to unpacking, it was a seamless process. And on the day of unloading, the two guys assigned to us arrived promptly and got right to work. They were friendly, courteous, and professional! Both of them handled all our items without damage, went the extra mile to get our bulk couch into the house for us, and arranged the items neatly. On top of that, they were so efficient that they unloaded the truck quickly on a hot southern day. We couldn't thank them enough and would highly recommend them to others. I understand we're supposed to to uplift our black businesses and not bash, BUT this particular one deserves every bit of it. This will be long but walk with me. I booked with No Limit Moving and Relocation 3/14 for 3/22. When I spoke to the lady on the phone she said that it would be $350 for two hours, two movers, bed assembly, and a TV mount. I let her know we're moving from my parents house, a storage unit, to an apartment. All in the within 10 min of each other. Cool, she books me for 3/22 at 10am. 3/22 gets here, 10am rolls around. Nothing. 10:30, nothing. I call and the lady tells me they are finishing up a move and will be there at 12. First red flag. 12:45 comes around they pull up. They move from my parents and storage fine in decent timing. They started moving stuff in the apartment and that's where it starts. I noticed Brandon getting tired, I literally hear him breathing hard af coming down the hall. After a min I noticed nobody has been back up there except the son. He brought my bar stools and a small box but other than that nothing. At this point it's been almost an hour. I look on the balcony and they sitting on the back of the truck. I then get a text from the gf/wife, saying it'll be a total $900 for 4.5 hours, stair fees, and the time it takes them to put the bed together. When we questioned the $300 stair fee Brandon became aggressive with my mom and jumped in dad's face ready to fight. I read through the contract again and saw that the stair fee was $75-300. That's not that the lady said on the phone, but okay whatever we're here now so I paid the full $900. After he got the payment he then flat out refused to move the rest of my stuff. At this point we had to call the police because not only do you have payment, but you're holding my stuff. After over an hour going back and forth with police he says he won't move my stuff until I sign the receipt. I read it, it states that I'm agreeing that all services have been rendered and that I won't take legal action. NOPE, because full services have not been rendered. He refused to take my things up the apartment, there was not tv mount, and there was no bed assembly. The sheriff advised me to sign it duress because he refused to release my things until then. I sign it, and after another 30 min of police telling he had to either take my stuff off the truck he finally literally threw my stuff (cracking a tv in the process) at the bottom of the steps. Brandon B King adamant that I was scamming him, yet he has a full payment for services he didn't even complete half of. The man even made threats. Please do not book with this business or this man. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! If the rating system was able to post a Zero, Brandon, the owner, would have this nailed. This guy has some of the worst interpersonal skills I've ever come across in all my years of business! If you have to use them: Here are some of the things to watch out for dealing with them that may happen to you, from my experience. * No Limit & Relocation Moving Company uses electronic contract documents. When you sign/initial EVERY page, also put in the date with your initials. You may see it come back with a different date saying you allegedly approved all of his revised costs. Later discussions with the owner will result in hearing that you are getting a price break, and he's doing you a favor. Not True! * Print out a copy of the pre-move contract you approve, right after you sign it, before the move is started. The electronic file copy disappears and you get an error message, "Try Again Later", when you try to print it out later. You must read thru the contract and review the costs before the move takes place. Get their signed approval of the final contract prices!!! If you don't, look at your pricing changes!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully, this may not happen. * Internet analysis (Google & Yelp) shows numerous Level 1 ratings. I don't know where he found all his relatives and friends to give him high ratings, but I'd bet if a verification was done on the reviews, a significant number of ratings would not be valid. * Do NOT expect anything you verbally say will be valid after the company is paid. They mandate you must pay them completely before they leave the job site. Once they leave, good luck! Watch out, Deposits are NOT guaranteed to be applied to the final bill, but when you ask about it, you'll be told it's a nonrefundable fee. Even if you are told they will be applied to the final bill, it may still show up. This also goes for any of the Moving companies' employees. * If you are asked to provide a Tip for the employees, do NOT provide a verbal request. Put it in writing, and if you feel they deserve the tip, go ahead and do it. * Other features in the contract are inflated on the final bill. Just enough to make it not worth the money to hire a lawyer. He also has his contract language skewed to his advantage so that it's harder to disprove and dispute. The contract calls out you must use Arbitration, good luck getting there. * Brandon, if you don't like this review, I'm ready to go to court! I have a file over an inch think of documentation, dates, and times. You have a chance to make changes to the way you run your business, why not try something novel, TREAT THE CUSTOMER FAIRLY and professionally. * This review was meant to be constructive criticism, and because you wouldn't listen to my comments on our "Let's Work Things Out" call to reconcile the bill. read more

I scheduled my move with No Limit Moving and Relocation and signed an agreement confirming that movers would arrive at 2:00pm on 6/28/25. On the day of the move, no one showed up by 2:00pm. I called the company and was told they would be arriving between 2:00-4:00pm. Only four minutes later, I received a text message canceling the move with no explanation. I had paid a $55 deposit via Venmo to secure this date, and despite requests, I have not received a refund. This experience left me scrambling to find emergency movers and caused unnecessary stress and financial loss. A two-man team led by Brandon, the owner moved me to Cordova from Memphis (Deloach Street) on July 30, 2024. Since then I've been waiting for the company to address the broken washer, the missing screws and the unfinished reassembly of furniture that Brandon promised to address. First he and his one man crew arrived two hours plus late, took numerous breaks (Not lunch) even though he was charging per hour, charged me for the hours and has refused to fix the issues he and his company created. I've communicated via email, text and phone calls with him to pay for the washer the company damaged and complete the reassembly of the furniture they left. Brandon's last promise was that he would come on Monday September 16, 2024 at 6pm to haul the washer and prepare a check for the replacement. The washer is broken at the top, the locking system on the lid is defective and three legs are missing so is unusable. I've had to be paying to have my clothes washed when I owned a washer before No Limit Moving destroyed the one I have. The missing screws on my desk means i just have a heavy piece of wood across the iron resulting in the loss of my printer which fell due to the instability (the screws for the desk are missing). The sofa in my office is missing the legs, which were left at my previous house. To say this was the worst moving experience I've had is an understatement. I decided to use the company because I like supporting my own, however, I would never recommend or use them again. read more

I have used No Limit several times. A close friend's house burned and they had to move in a hurry. She has used them 3 times, I have used them 2 times. I have recommended them to other people. Nothing negative was told to me. Brandon and A were amazing in moving Heavy and light furniture. They have health with situations that I was glad THEY WERE DOING. The only times that I know of ANY piece being damaged were: a Close friend had a box of different stuff and the side tore. She said that she was embarrassed and Brandon put her at ease. 2.) Moving a heavy, long-g glass plant buffet, Brandon had NO trouble taking it apart ( I wouldn't have tried!!!!!), I told Brandon I didn't know what to do with it. ( it was a housewarming gift) . Brandon told it entirely apart and got rid of the bottom piece, put the unit back together and made a modern desk out of it. moved it into another room, arranged the rooms . ( Creative!!) I have received many compliments . His patience and good nature are a blessing in difficult moving situations. My sister is using No Limit for 2 more moving appointments. While scheduling my move time they told me they'd be available at 9am, when I got the confirmation email it changed to 10am then they were still 4 hours late coming at 2pm. I only needed labor to move my items from my apartment to my own truck and he still charged me full price like I didn't pay a deposit, not only that but the work didn't even take the full two hours which was supposed to be 187. He charged me 260 and just threw my stuff in the back of the truck (items were broken) He told me he over booked and forgot about my appointment, I had to drive to Chicago from Memphis and because he came so late I had to drive in the dark and ran into snow causing me to spend even more money getting a room for the night. RUN RUN AWAY the other way from this company! They were 6 hours late. Knowing that you wouldn't turn them away after paying a $450 deposit week prior. LITERALLY every piece of furniture that I have was dented, scratched, deeply gouged or broken. His truck was too small to fit all of our furniture. Promised to come back to get the remaining piece. I have yet to see him again. It looks as though he hire teems right off the street who complained the entire time. Not to mention that they didn't look professional but more like they were going to take off with the furniture. But hey! I was in a bind now and they knew it. They were recommended by my loan officer who may or may not have been getting a kick back now that I think about it. Do not believe these reviews!! I swear to you that they are from his fiends and family members. Oh the reason that he was late. He took a higher paying job which involved moving a family to Texas which means he kicked us to his leftover crew. When he took our deposit he told us that we were first that morning. Oh he did do a so called discount of $100 by really increasing the price. THIS IS THE MOVING COMPANY FROM HELL! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE WITH THESE PEOPLE! Brandon and A are great at their craft! I hired them to assemble some drawers to a boutique bed. My husband had assembled the bed months earlier, but the drawers needed to be inserted before the bed was completed. These guys EARNED THEIR NAME; the preassembled bed was "no limit" for them. They determined there was a problem and without skipping a beat, they dissembled the part of the bed that needed to be taken apart and did a wonderful job. From now on, we're using them for all of our moving, assembling, and mounting. I recommend No Limit Moving Company with no reservations. read more
