We booked our first couples massage today and what an incredible experience! 80 mins of bliss and relaxation. It was comfortable and clean, the estheticians were friendly but not overly chatty. Support this small business- you won't regret it. The only thing I wish would have happened was to have it explained what the products were so I could purchase them after for at home maintenance and maybe more pressure during my foot/hand massage. All I can say is: Oh. My. Gawd. I'm a professional photographer who recently worked with Laticia on a maternity shoot for one of my clients where she did my clients makeup AND hair both. I have worked with makeup and hair artists internationally and can fully back Laticia's work. I would give her 6 stars if there was an option to do so. Rarely do you find someone that can tackle makeup AND hair and do it as flawlessly and carefully (and flatteringly - is that a word?) as Laticia can. My client's skin and hair looked so beautiful and perfect that there was next to no retouching needed on her photos. That's a first! Not only is she skilled at her craft and pays attention to the details, but she was fun and kind and also had some creative ideas during the photoshoot that I loved. She used brow powder to show me how she was going to shape them so I knew exactly what they were going to look like before she even touched the wax (I had been going to the same brow lady for almost 10 years before I moved, so I was nervous to have someone new do my brows). The girls I go to, to do my lashes, are incredibly professional and are amazing at what they do, however when I walk out of the lash room I see strip lashes being sold. I don't know what the business owner is thinking by doing this it seems like a conflict of interest and could potentially take away business from the girls that work so hard for their clientele. I was a long time customer at No Filter but I won't be a returning one anymore. Over time the prices for memberships and services sky rocketed and we're very unreasonable, especially the memberships. My regular aesthetician slowly started to take parts of the service out like the massage and hot towel on your scalp. Even after verbalizing I was tired of doing the same service over and over, she continued to book that service two more times. My most recent negative interaction that ultimately prompted this review after all the letdowns was having my aesthetician no show to my appointment. I then found out via Instagram 2 days later that person was no longer working there and No Filter was now closed for a long weekend. I understand things like this happen and I would've been forgiving if the manager would've contacted me at least one time about the situation. My previous aesthetician never reached out and neither did the manager or any manager at No Filter. Instead I had to was rescheduled again and saw someone I had never seen before for my last facial there. Don't get me wrong, it was the best facial I've ever had there (which I'm sure was intentional given the situation), but not once did anyone ever truly say sorry or explain what happened. Super disappointed in the way this was handled. I did not feel like an appreciated or valued long-time customer at all. read more

Laticia was very attentive to our individual needs. She also managed to make eyebrow waxing nearly painless. Laticia done my wedding day makeup and done a great job. I got lots of compliments on my makeup the entire day. I got the airbrush makeup and it was well worth the price. The cost included my trial and for her to travel to Isaac Taylor Gardens on my wedding day. I have never really worn foundation makeup because I have light skin and have never felt comfortable with the way it looks. The airbrush makeup was perfect and I felt completely comfortable wearing it. I even ordered an airbrush makeup kit online so maybe I can learn to do it on myself one day.
