From the moment you walk into no filter your stress begins to melt away! The reception area is chic and has a total vibe. Laticia was my esthetician, and after bringing me to the treatment room asked if I had any skin concerns. Throughout my facial she made helpful suggestions, and even texted me the link for a product she thought would be helpful. You can tell she's very experienced and really hones in on what the client needs, she understands that this experience is not a one size fits all! Loved my experience at no filter and will definitely be continuing to use their services. read more

Phoebe is amazing! She has incredible attention to detail and my brows came out wonderfully.

We booked our first couples massage today and what an incredible experience! 80 mins of bliss and relaxation. It was comfortable and clean, the estheticians were friendly but not overly chatty. Support this small business- you won't regret it. The only thing I wish would have happened was to have it explained what the products were so I could purchase them after for at home maintenance and maybe more pressure during my foot/hand massage. We will definitely be booking again soon! read more

Laticia Huether was the best make-up artist I have every had the privilege of working with. She was so sweet and had an extensive knowledge of her products. She was also very good with my "fluttery eyes". I have never been able to handle people applying make-up to my eye lids and she understood my issues and worked with me. She made sure that my photographer and myself were happy with her work and we were beyond thrilled! She made sure that all of our needs were met. I am so glad I had the chance to work with her and I will not only be recommending her to everyone I know, I will also be using her in my future endeavors. read more

All I can say is: Oh. My. Gawd. I'm a professional photographer who recently worked with Laticia on a maternity shoot for one of my clients where she did my clients makeup AND hair both. I have worked with makeup and hair artists internationally and can fully back Laticia's work. I would give her 6 stars if there was an option to do so. Rarely do you find someone that can tackle makeup AND hair and do it as flawlessly and carefully (and flatteringly - is that a word?) as Laticia can. My client's skin and hair looked so beautiful and perfect that there was next to no retouching needed on her photos. That's a first! Not only is she skilled at her craft and pays attention to the details, but she was fun and kind and also had some creative ideas during the photoshoot that I loved. She's awesome and I'm SO sad that San Diego is losing a great make up and hair artist, but I can promise you that no matter where you find her - you will NOT be sorry for hiring her. read more

Laticia is AWESOME and my eyebrows look amazing! She used brow powder to show me how she was going to shape them so I knew exactly what they were going to look like before she even touched the wax (I had been going to the same brow lady for almost 10 years before I moved, so I was nervous to have someone new do my brows). She makes sure that your eyebrows are the right shape for your face and features. Laticia made me feel super comfortable and she's as talented as she is sweet! I will definitely be a loyal repeat customer. I have to add: I originally met Laticia when she was doing hair and makeup for a friend's save-the-date photo shoot. Her work is beautiful and flawless and she walks you through it step-by-step so you can be sure you're going to love the way you look. If you need hair/makeup/waxing, I definitely recommend going with HueLaLa Esthetics! read more

Laticia is a one of a kind boss babe and esthetician. She made me feel so relaxed and at home during my facial as if I were hanging out with a friend, but maintained a professional demeanor and offered me loads of insight and knowledge into my skin's particular needs. I felt like a princess by the time it was done and literally did not want to leave five stars from me!! read more

Girlfriend does the work of the lord with how skilled she is! I'm terrible at maintaining my eyebrows but she took them from Walmart to Chanel. Definitely going to continue seeing her. read more

Works with a scam artist photographer in town Gagged and gagged in my face all night while applying makeup that she reapplied to other customers Never cleaned it after she used it either read more

The girls I go to, to do my lashes, are incredibly professional and are amazing at what they do, however when I walk out of the lash room I see strip lashes being sold. I don't know what the business owner is thinking by doing this it seems like a conflict of interest and could potentially take away business from the girls that work so hard for their clientele. Seems questionable. read more

Seriously the best facial I've ever had. Laticia was amazing! I've been having hormonal pregnancy breakouts and now a few weeks after my facial, my skin is doing soooo much better. It's actually pretty amazing! Don't waste money on a facial elsewhere. The included arm and leg massage is also great (especially when pregnant)! read more

I was a long time customer at No Filter but I won't be a returning one anymore. Over time the prices for memberships and services sky rocketed and we're very unreasonable, especially the memberships. My regular aesthetician slowly started to take parts of the service out like the massage and hot towel on your scalp. Even after verbalizing I was tired of doing the same service over and over, she continued to book that service two more times. My most recent negative interaction that ultimately prompted this review after all the letdowns was having my aesthetician no show to my appointment. I then found out via Instagram 2 days later that person was no longer working there and No Filter was now closed for a long weekend. I understand things like this happen and I would've been forgiving if the manager would've contacted me at least one time about the situation. My previous aesthetician never reached out and neither did the manager or any manager at No Filter. Instead I had to was rescheduled again and saw someone I had never seen before for my last facial there. Don't get me wrong, it was the best facial I've ever had there (which I'm sure was intentional given the situation), but not once did anyone ever truly say sorry or explain what happened. Super disappointed in the way this was handled. I did not feel like an appreciated or valued long-time customer at all. read more

Laticia is simply the best. She was prompt in showing up to do makeup AND hair prior to my maternity photo shoot. She nailed both, hands down. I felt beautiful, stunning, "glow-y" because of this gal. She is beyond friendly, I felt as if I had known her for YEARS. She accompanied us to my photo shoot and touched lips & hair up as we went, even helped with wardrobe at times ... my photographer adored her, too. I'll be so sad to see you leave CA, Laticia. I can only hope our paths cross again in the future! North Carolina is lucky to have you. read more

I had a boudoir shoot earlier this year and had the privilege of having Laticia do my make up. Not only did she take her time, she made sure that every stroke was perfect. It was cute watching her react to my transformation right before her eyes. She would get so excited. It's obvious she loves her job. I got so many compliments on my beautiful make up and my husband especially was speechless. She was very personable and made me feel right at ease. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. read more

My 13 year old and I went to Laticia last week to get our eyebrows done. We had previously been using Ulta and a girl who does threading. We were both extremely pleased with our services. Laticia was very attentive to our individual needs. She also managed to make eyebrow waxing nearly painless. If you've ever been to the benefit bar at Ulta, you know they take their time shaping your eyebrows to enhance your face. Laticia offers this same service, in a much more relaxing environment, at half the price. I will definitely be recommending HueLaLa to all of my friends. read more

Laticia done my wedding day makeup and done a great job. I got lots of compliments on my makeup the entire day. I got the airbrush makeup and it was well worth the price. The cost included my trial and for her to travel to Isaac Taylor Gardens on my wedding day. I have never really worn foundation makeup because I have light skin and have never felt comfortable with the way it looks. The airbrush makeup was perfect and I felt completely comfortable wearing it. I even ordered an airbrush makeup kit online so maybe I can learn to do it on myself one day. I would highly recommend Laticia for wedding day makeup! read more
