I had been very happy with this service and enjoyed my time when I suddenly had to cancel unexpectedly the day of service 5 hours before my appointment because of a survey where we have to be present in the building. My first text I was told I would be responsible for the entire normal amount because I hadn't canceled. I stated that I followed the directions exactly of what I needed to do to cancel the appointment the minute I knew I would have to stay in the building. She then said she saw it came through but she would charge me half of the amount because it was less than 24 hours hours.. I have never canceled an appointment at the last minute and always been early for appointments for appointments. I found this incredibly unprofessional as the 1st message was told that I owed the full amount because I did not cancel when I had. Raquel is AMAZING! I've seen her for the following services: lash lift & tint, brow wax & tint, microneedling, and nanotechnology (or nano fusion or something like that). Anywho, every single experience I've had with her has been positive! She's so sweet and SUPER easy to talk too which is a relief - it's nice to feel like you're just chatting with a friend! Also, this is very important to me - she is ALWAYS on time. I've never had any issues with her running behind. I can't stand it when I make an appointment for something and organize my time in order to make it to that appointment, and then have the technician running behind. This has never happened with Raquel! All of her services have been great, but the lash lift and tint especially has made a HUGE difference in my life! She does lovely facials but needs to learn to pivot in today's world where there is a global pandemic going on. I have been in the industry for 25 years as a massage therapist and had an agreement with my clients, even before COVID, that the could absolutely cancel their appointment that same day if they were feeling unwell, at no cost to them. My goal was to keep my clients safe and healthy and not worry about the almighty buck. I was sick and had to cancel, yet she charges for the appointment, half but still it is $100. So you want your clients to show up sick is the message that I am getting. Thoughtless. Well Raquel needs to learn this lesson about grace. Great service, bad customer service along with rigidity with business "rules" so I will be taking my business elsewhere. You need to learn to pivot and be flexible with your clientele. read more

She booked over my appointment and didn't tell me until 10minutes before my appointment when I had already been driving for 30minutes to see her. Her response? "My time is valuable and you never confirmed and during that time someone booked online! And they were guaranteed an appointment!so I'm sorry that doesn't impress you. Your not obligated to see me!" This is my second bad experience with her. The salon is located in Sola Salons, in the same plaza as Planet Fitness and McMenamins Mill Creek. I initially found her through a quick google search when I looking for a brazilian wax initially, but ended up getting my sideburns waxed after seeing how much of a deal it was ($12) compared to other places. It was my first time having my sideburns waxed (and on a whim too), so I actually wasn't sure how much I wanted off. Raquel was patient and very thorough since the sides should match, and also asked for my input. She let me know she was using hard wax, when to take a deep breath, and held onto the skin -- I have been to some places where they don't hold the skin taut. Overall a really good experience, and I would consider coming back to get my lashes tinted, or other services. read more

Raquel does some amazing work! I am so happy with my eyelash tint and lift. I had no idea my eyelashes were so long! I hardly ever have to wear makeup now. Especially during the summer, it's nice to wake up with nice long lashes. The lift is a good alternative for girls who want a more natural look or aren't a fan of extensions (me). I literally gasped when she revealed my lashes to me with a mirror because I couldn't believe they were my own eyelashes. I've had them for about two weeks now and they are still perfectly lifted, however I do prefer to add a little mascara lately to make them a bit thicker and darker. The only downside to the process is that it does take awhile and it can be slightly irritating/itchy, which is totally normal to experience but it can make it a little uncomfortable. Then again, beauty is pain right? Overall I can't say enough good things about them. I have so much more confidence now. read more
