Let me just say: I could not live further away in the valley from a Bown Crossing, but I drive clear across town to have Karia do my laser treatments. I went in to this small but fresh little spa on a whim when I was downtown several months ago, and Karia was so pleasant and professional that I haven't gone elsewhere since. This is unusual for me; I usually find spa treatments and haircuts so socially uncomfortable that I rarely stick with anyone, even if they're great at their jobs. I discovered this place by following my amazing stylist from another salon. Won't mention the name of the other salon but it was nothing like M Spa! I took a chance on Lindsay Hampton with my hair, mind you she is only the 3rd stylist in my 31 years of life to ever touch my hair haha! If you want someone who is experienced, patient, flexible, passionate and pays attention to detail I would highly recommend Lindsay. She listens to what you want and is great about making sure she's meeting her client's requests. What first caught my eye about M Spa is a handful of it's stylists use "davines" hair products, which is what my past stylist used in California. Jessie day who does the botox and filler at M Spa did my up keep for many years. I am 36 years old been doing Botox since 25 so my muscles are weak in my face never should need to come in every four weeks.I want to say about 5-6 years I was her client. She and I had a fine relationship tell about 6 months ago I started noticing my Botox wasn't working and my friends were all making comments that they thought I'd given it up. I was even going going in more often. I sent Jessie pics and she brought me in about four weeks after my complaint.Saying that she had other clients upset also. I then sent her a photo four weeks later and my face was moving in all the spots she had given me a "better bottle" I missed three appointments in 5-6 years of being her client she said after I asked her why my Botox was not working she conveniently said because of my missed appointments she can't see me anymore and won't be rescheduling me. I understand the service industry as I am apart of a commission based job but it's pretty obvious she got caught not using what she was charging for. If you are thinking of getting your lips done I'd go to another person. The first time she did mine I got a HUGE blood blister that took 5 weeks to fully heal. The second time ( my last )my lips had volume for 6 months when she charged me extra for the "1special kind" that's supposed to last 12-18 months that is a lie. I had little bump inside my lips the entire time as I've since learned isn't putting it incorrectly and that's why I had the lumpy lips. Don't use her unless you want to be scammed and have lumpy lips. I should of known the first appointment she said I'd get a 50 dollar gift Card from her off brand Botox company that never came. She is also not apart of Brilliant Distinction program which I should of seen as a red flag. read more

Elizabeth is the best stylist if you like blonde hair! She color corrected my hair and made it the neutral blonde with lowlights that I always wanted. I am attaching before and after photos. What made it so great too was her warm, friendly personality plus! I thought I had good color before, but Elizabeth blew everyone else out of the water with her skills. The pictures say it best! Also, wonderful Bown crossing location with soft plentiful natural lighting. I saw parking places right out back the whole time I was there. Sure beats traffic. Karia did a 45 minute teeth whitening session and I'm SOOO happy! I had only done Crest Whitestrips for teeth whitening but wondered about a professional treatment, especially since my teeth can get sensitive with Crest whitestrips. To my delight the results from M Spa's process are much whiter than with the strips and I've had zero sensitivity - no pain! The after care instructions indicate they use "Beaming White" and I'm a new fan. Karia is amazing and helped me relax with a hand massage while I got used to the mouthpiece and the process. Perfect!! My hair turned green!! GREEN!! It's fried. I finally got the color to go away but had to cut my hair that was to my butt to my shoulders!! I cried for hours and she made me still pay!! If you want the worst job ever then by all means go to her. If you like your hair stay away!! I wish I was able to sue. I would!! Why would you say I wasn't your client. I guess you would say that. People that are self employed rely on these comments to grow their business. You are not only a horrible cosmetologist but also a very dishonest person!!
