I had paid for it over the phone a couple weeks in advance and made arrangements for us to come in but unfortunately that day they had to cancel our couples massage as a therapist called out but we absolutely understood. I myself do massage and working for a busy spa I know how sometimes appointments just need to get rescheduled due to employee emergencies and illnesses so it's a bit of a bummer but really no biggie. I have yet to actually be able to get us in for a massage together but I got to visit this spa for a wonderful pedicure today !! The lobby was gorgeous and they sell so many awesome skin care brands and fun items. I noticed a list of refreshments, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, you can enjoy during your visit. Many of them are an additional charge but you can have water and orange juice complimentary or my personal favorite of the complimentary beverages which was a pleasant surprise was red wine !! They had a little self serve red wine bar was a few different bottles of red wines. I personally went with the Barefoot sweet red blend and it was delightful! I also had a few glasses of water and a glass of Prosecco at an additional charge. They also showed a few snacks you can add on for an additional charge which were very tempting.. I mean roasted pecans and caramels, berries or a charcuterie plate ?! YUM! I already had reservations with my fiancé for Brick 29 after my appointment though and I wanted to save my appetite for our meal. Perhaps next time I'll indulge a little more though ;) I booked the geranium cedarwood pedicure and it exceeded my expectations, was everything i imagined and more! It was a nice long pedicure with a nice vibrating chair that can recline, a luxurious warm neck wrap, relaxing music and nature sounds in a very comfy setting. Kaila did my pedicure and she did a beautiful job and she was very friendly throughout my experience! I LOVE the ambiance here and I most definitely will be back for a variety of spa treatments. I hope to get the membership eventually to return on a fairly regular basis and I certainly hope one day my fiancé and I can come in to relax together!!

We had scheduled two head spa appointments for 10:00 AM. Upon arrival, the receptionist seemed confused and couldn't find our bookings. She mentioned they typically don't schedule two head spa sessions at the same time due to staffing--something that should have been addressed when we booked. We were eventually brought back to the treatment rooms about five minutes late. I got on the table, only for my therapist to discover there was no power in part of the room. For the next 10 minutes, she was coming in and out trying to reset the breaker. Not exactly a relaxing start. When the treatment finally began, it only got worse. I've had head spa treatments before and found them incredibly soothing--this was anything but. Water kept splashing on my face, the massage was more like random heavy rubbing than any skilled technique, and the products used on my scalp were ice cold. When I mentioned the cold temperature, the therapist casually suggested they "might need a bottle warmer." The water temperature was also all over the place--burning hot one minute, cold the next--and despite voicing my discomfort several times, nothing improved. To top it all off, the therapist played spa music from her phone, but I could hear a text notification come through during the treatment, which completely killed any remaining sense of tranquility. The session also ended early, yet I was still charged full price. When I brought up these issues--power problem, inconsistent water temperature, cold products --I was met with a blank stare. No apology, no concern, just indifference. It felt like customer service and professional training were entirely lacking. Bottom line: I will not be returning and do not recommend this business to anyone. What was supposed to be a special, relaxing day with a friend ended up being a stressful waste of time and money.

The reason why I leave this 1 star is because as amazing as her work is her customer service is very unprofessional. I made an appointment with her weeks in advance like she asked. On the day of the appointment she texts and apologizes asking if I can come in later because she is running late with a client. I let her know that I was needing to leave by a certain time due to personal reasons. I didn't think to bring them up since they had nothing to do with my hair appointment. To be safe I ask if we can reschedule because I had gone to her 4 previous times and I know she can take a bit longer because after she still would have to prepare my color and clean and all that good stuff which is understandable. She says due to me wanting to reschedule she would let this time slide but next time she would have to charge me a rescheduling fee. I then corrected her and said it was due to her being late and she said that that is how she ran her business and if I didn't like that I could go elsewhere. She also mentioned she didn't know what was going on with me so I shared a bit to see if that would help her understand and that went even more south again pushing me elsewhere due to timeliness. She had mentioned she was all about her customers and delivered quality customer service. The whole time I was wondering where mine was at because every time either it was morning or afternoon appointment she would be running late it was to make a coffee run in the mornings, waking up late, or running late with a customer. I even offered to pay more money just so she could make it on time since i was going through a personal matter. I think she misunderstood thinking I was asking for VIP service or something because she said no matter what income she charged the same. NOOO! I was offering to pay extra in hopes she could agree to make it on time. I understand being self employed but maybe better customer service especially while representing a hair salon that is not yours is still very important. She also mentioned the owner of Hasbrouck House had made her fix someones hair due to a similar reason before this incident with me so I am guessing its not her first time treating customers in this matter. I have now gone to a handful of salons and everyone is scared to touch my hair because every time they test it it is very slimy and fragile. If anyone knows of anyone who can work on my hair like she could please share. This girl can definitely correct the incorrect and make any hair color a reality. Customer service and timeliness are definitely recommended to be worked on. I had asked one final time to make things work and she never replied back. I know her work is flawless but that shouldn't be an excuse to be treated like this or make me feel like it was all my fault.
