I went today and supposed to be a extra long consultation and new customer stuff that charges you more. I ended up with a supposed student who evidently does not know very much and a supposed mentor that is not much better. They discussed maybe having part of the hair pulled back to cover the bald spot and when I said I wanted a long pixie, when brought up a picture of a shag style pixie cut and I told her if she can pull it off it would be great. She first could not even comb my hair without snagging my earring, then she tried styling me hair with all of it going back, which just exposed all of the receding hair line. I told her that it will not work and with my thin fine hair to just do a short pixie cut, which almost anyone should know how to do. She had no idea so I showed her a picture. Between the two of them and almost 2 hours they still could not get it right. It will now cost me to try to get this fixed, if it can be fixed. Here is the picture that I had them use, and pictures of what they did to my hair. They evidently have no idea how to taper hair or how to do small pointed side burns like I had asked for.

She gives a pretty mean scalp massage when she washes your hair. I have to hold back the moans..... I went to her throughout my college years and after. Sadly I had to move to the East Coast and have not been able to find someone as good. Every time I go to Boise I make an appointment with her. It's a must. Kelli also offered to cut my hair when she visits the East Coast. Guess who has a private appointment in January? Uh me! That's how cool she is. Overall, she can give you a great haircut, hair color, hair style, anything you desire and she'll listen to make your hair vision come true.

As women we know how hard it is to find someone that we trust to do our hair. I went to her and I was doing a big chop. I think we chopped off about four or five inches. She did a great job. I've gone back for a trim. Bought product from her. She is friendly, has great customer service. Her salon is clean. She has great products. I definitely recommend coming here if you are in doubt. What I didn't know that she did, you book N appointment on the Vagaro app and then they have to approve the appointment. It works out pretty well. Just an FYI. Get the app.

My stylist was friendly and skilled which was great! I always feel bad because I have a lot of hair, but it didn't seem to phase her which was cool! The $30 women's cut comes with a wash and blow dry/style. She did my cut dry which I actually prefer because my scalp is sensitive and wet hair cuts always tug on my head and put me in a stressed out mood. So the cut was dry and then she washed my hair afterward which was great so all the hair splinters got washed away! Best part of the hair wash is that they use a rubber piece on the lip of the basin so the blood isn't cut off from your brain. With heavy wet hair I always dread the hair wash because it kills the back of my head/neck. This was a really nice feature! Also bang/fringe trims touch-ups are free!! Seriously I can't believe I got a haircut in such a cute place for only $30 plus my tip. Was great, will be back!

Being new, I didn't have a preferred request for a hairdresser and was booked with Melissa. She gave me a cute haircut similar but not exactly to what I was expecting. It is very complementary for my face shape though so I'm happy. She was very easy to talk with and we had a nice conversation. The ambiance of the salon was pleasant, relaxing, chic but casual with a nice salon vibe. My kiddos came back for their own appointments and she did a superb job on their hair. The fair pricing for both adult and kids cuts was a huge bonus!

I like how they have highlight stories showing their services, prices, and the hours and services that each of their team members offers. They do a really great job of photographing and posting their hair works! I think they should start posting some of their photos here on Yelp so more people can find them! The salon itself is really beautiful and fun! The people who designed this space did a really great job, I just love the ambiance. They usually offer drinks while you're getting your hair done too which is always a nice luxury. Especially when you're getting a hair coloring service that may take hours! The only downside of this location is that it can be difficult to get to the salon off of State St when there's lots of traffic. I have definitely missed the turn a few times and have had to make a U-turn. Keep that in mind your first time driving over, maybe give yourself a buffer time before your appointment if you're coming from the downtown side. I've been in 3 or 4 times within the past year or so and have seen 2 different stylists. Both gals were really nice and easygoing. Prices are a little bit expensive but they are usually super transparent about the pricing, which I appreciate. There is also a great selection of all hair care products and also a cute boutique section with clothes and accessories!
