I first went to Sweet Cheeks Beauty Bar years ago with a Groupon at a different location, and even though I had a discounted service, They were still kind and friendly! Sometimes people aren't when they hear I have a Groupon. Not the case here! I have gone back to Sweet Cheeks for massages, facials and spray tan - and each time I have seen different people, but they are all SO friendly, sweet and professional. I enjoyed all the services I have experienced. They listen well, and even when the spray tan machine malfunctioned, they were quick to help one another to fix it, apologizing for it. Efficient and nice vibe. I went to the Meridian location and the person that I saw was really nice and advise me on how I should do my eyebrows when I got an eyebrow wax. I really like the outcome and the service was quick and simple and they have a cute little boutique on the outside so you can look around while you wait and then they lead you to a nice little room where you can have your service done. Im normally nervous when it comes to getting my eyebrows done because the last time I went to a place, they waxed off half of my eyebrow tail after I specifically asked them not to and was afraid to try somewhere new. The color scheme just makes you calm and the chairs are incredibly comfortable. The place is clean and well lit and just feels chill. Service: The service is incredible everyone was super friendly and fast. My aesthetician was incredibly informative and I have been waxed for years and learned a ton of new things and just one conversation. Price: it seems fair and about average for the pricing of the area. The way they do Brazilians is different but in the best way possible and more comfortable. The wax they use must be something unique because I've never had such a great result. The best part was that I was their last client and she treated me like I was her first with a huge smile. She was not in a rush to get me out the door, and answered all my questions. Came in for a wax. The girl who waxed me was super friendly and professional. It was quick and relatively painless. I didn't have any reaction the following day with my skin. I decided to book a pregnancy massage with Carmin. It was a very good, relaxing massage. My only complaint is that 50 minutes wasn't long enough! I've got lymphoma from a botched surgery so how lucky i was to have Carmin as my masseuse. She is amazing. She worked on my lymphatic drainage and uses essential oils. Grateful for the experience. Not the place to go to if you're looking for good customer service..I waited 3 and a half hours after my scheduled appointment time and was asked to come back because my appointment time "slipped through the cracks" even though I had all the confirmation. I was told I should come back a different day after already waiting. What they could do to help? Well, two 50% off coupons for tans in the future and when I asked for one free one which equates to the two 50% off I was responded with a big fat no since she "is losing money" but in my opinion I showed up to be a great customer (I'm a big time tanner!) and she lost more money by not being accommodating and losing my future business. The wait was not worth it. The tan was rushed and no mirror?! We will see how this turns out but from the looks of my splotchy arm I don't have high hopes for this tan. Thank god I don't have a big event tomorrow! Kaylee at the front desk was the only positive part of my experience , she tried so hard to help but wasn't given the trust from her employer to make her own decisions. Seems that they are more interested in money than in customer service. Based on more recent experiences elsewhere, I'd have to say that the quality of the waxes and lotions they use are subpar as well. Again, possibly to save money. My girlfriend and I were on vacation to visit family in idaho, she didn't have time to go to her regular spa back home and was reluctant to try a place here. We stumbled across SWEET CHEEKS by accident but she was so happy that this was the place she found. I was completely out of my element here but felt that i had to write a review based on my experience. The store was clean, the staff was accommodating and friendly, and my girlfriend left extremely happy with her services.Even though i sat in the store without getting any services the staff treated me very well offering me cold drinks and snacks as i waited. My girlfriend loves this place more than her regular salon back home and will now be making her appointments here every time we plan our trips back to Boise. read more

I tried out sweet cheeks for a custom spray tan and it was by the far the worst spray tan I've ever had. First, the girl left me in the small closet-like room for 10 minutes waiting for her to mix the product. There was no mirror or anything in the room to see how the spray looked. The closet room was not well cleaned- there was spray tan on every surface in the entire room so I was nervous to set my purse on anything. The girl asked me I wanted to upgrade to add "some product that helps the tan last longer." I said I didn't need the tan to last over a week but she said "the product is what keeps you from turning orange." So the $45 tan would make you turn orange but if you pay $55 you won't be orange? Never heard of that. When I got home it was by far the most unequal and uneven spray I've ever had. She sprayed so far away from me that there are spots she didn't even cover. My neck was completely blotchy along with my abdomen. I don't recommend this place for a spray tan! It's expensive and I'm sure a machine would be more even and the room would be more sanitized and clean! read more

Her facial treatment was very subpar as well as my massage. The lady giving me my massage separated and did something to my right shoulder. I've never had shoulder pain and I've had it constantly for the four months after this "massage". I can't even sleep on my right side due to this shoulder pain. Do not go to this place. read more

I got a Brazilian for the very first time, she was thorough and I felt comfortable! I've gotten a spray tan as well which I would do again (my one recommendation is when she gives you the lotion for areas you don't want to get tan put A LOT on your feet especially the bottoms it really sticks). I also received samples from the professional skin care line that they carry in the retail part of their spa. The line is called image and I would highly recommend it, I went back and bought full sizes of the "clear cell" which cleared up my acne very quickly and I also use the "balancing" one. read more

I booked a massage and a facial with my friend and it was very disappointing. Even that I wrote an email apparently the owners do not care. First of all I got a phone call from this spa explaining to me that they have a gratuity rule that is new and that I should follow this. $10 per service so for me and my friend an extra $40. Our appointment was on December 30th. The massage was the worst ever, this girl just tried to get out of there and must have just come from school.....there was no relaxation for me or my friend. The facial was ok and the lady was very nice. But if you brag about your spa than you should have knowledgeable people hired that feel the clients needs. Either way I will never go back! read more
