Beautiful building! And a great place for weekend brunch in the summer. The food is amazing and nicely priced.

This waffle place looks pretty tempting with fresh waffles being made on the waffle makers in front of you, and the displays of chicken + waffles, waffles + berries, and a few other interesting looking combinations. The waffles and toppings were fine, but you can get similar elsewhere, so unless you're a huge waffle fiend or you're craving waffles, I'd get something more unique that's harder to find in most places. The waffle we got was fresh and slightly crisp on the outside and a little chewy inside, and it was fresh. The berries and the chocolate sauce and honey on top were good, and the greek yogurt was a nice alternative to whipped cream. It was good but not amazing and it was little on the expensive side. If you have a waffle iron at home and berries at home, you can probably make something similar at home. Get a flavor that you can't recreate at home or skip this altogether and get something else at Maltby Market.

True masters of their craft, each element of the dish was absolute perfection, the waffle was just right, slightly chewy with just enough crust. The bacon- glorious American style bacon, smokey and peppery. Real maple syrup drizzled over the top and the biodynamic egg, a simple fried egg, but done amazingly to top off the dish. With a menu full of inventive waffles with ingredients like duck, figs, and goats cheese- I can't wait to try another fantastic waffle creation!

The bakery has plenty of seating both outside and in. The smell of fresh bread fills your nose as you enter and there's a warmness to the staff and the people within. We didn't eat in today but we will definitely be back. Instead we grabbed a chocolate cookie and a salted caramel brownie and we went on our way. 5pm came round and it was cookie time! The cookie was packed full of chocolate chips and tasted wonderful. It was very crumbly but I liked this about it. I can only imagine it warm and gooey - NOM. Next, the brownie. Moist and melt in the mouth, it was truly delightful BUT I couldn't really taste the salted caramel, it just wasn't strong enough over the chocolate. Still a great brownie. As, I said, I'll be back for lunch. Those pizzas are calling my name.

A man wearing a bra with no uniform delivered it to me (slightly odd but ok). to my surprise it came with guacamole (which I've never seen in my life before on a BLT), only few pieces of bacon and about 2 cherry tomatoes cut up and put on (which did not get close to covering all the space. It mostly bread , tasted ok but skimpy on the bacon and tomatoes . I realized the tesco next door had a BLT with the same amount of bacon. More tomatoes , and only 1/3 the price. We were here for the breakfast and three of us ordered off the menu, and two of us just had to be fussy and order various items individually. They catered to every wish! The coffee was fantastic and they even had skimmed milk (YEY!) I had the English breakfast with poached eggs, and apart from some hollandaise sauce that appeared on my eggs (I don't like hollandaise sauce!) it was all very yummy. The mushrooms were cooked with rosemary and the cumberland sausage was delicious. I was not keen on the bacon, but that's probably because it was smoked and I'm not a fan of food tasting like sweet smoke. My fellow breakfastarians between them tried the Eggs Special Royal (to celebrate our new princess!) which was apparently delicious, but came with cold avocado under the egg, which made the temperature of the whole dish a little odd. There were no other complaints though and we all agreed to go back very soon. Lovely place!

It was very busy when I arrived and I was unsure as to whether I should sit straight down or order at the bar - but after asking a friendly member of staff, I made myself comfortable with a menu. I opted for the Full English and a white Americano off of the Brunch menu. My food turned up before my coffee but I wasn't too fussed - I could sympathise with the busy staff having worked in hospitality for many years myself. Both the breakfast and coffee were lovely and good value for money. Afterwards, I ordered a Bloody Mary to take the edge off and oh my Gosh, it was hands-down the best Bloody Mary I have ever tasted. The waiter asked me what spice I'd like and as a bit of a wimp, I opted for a 3 out of 10 and it was absolutely perfect - garnished with green olives, celery, a lemon wedge and a sprinkle of pepper. Divine! I stayed at The Gantry for the majority of my day working and therefore spoke with the staff a few times. I enquired as to a nearby plug and the waiter found me one behind an armchair and plugged my charger in for me as well - very kind! Overall, I'd highly recommend it but would opt to come when it's a bit less hectic next time. I will definitely be returning!
