The pedicure was extremely rough with no massage or foot scrub. When we started the Gel X, I was asked to hold the light myself, and the tips were applied crooked and halfway down my nails. After asking for them to be fixed, I was told they couldn't be placed any closer to my cuticle. I eventually asked if someone else could do them and was told they had been busy that day. I completely understand being busy, but I called ahead and made an appointment specifically for Gel X. I would have much rather been told they couldn't accommodate it. I wasted over 2 hours and now have to go somewhere else tomorrow to get my nails done.

John does an outstanding job!…read more I am a big fan of dip powder but I am fairly new to it so every experience I have had over the last year has been bad. Unfortunately, I only learned it was bad as time passed through conversations, research, and comparison. After visiting this salon for a pedicure previously, I decided to come back for another pedicure. During my visit, I settled on getting a dip powder manicure. John did my pedicure which was nice and fairly quick. I like that he listened to my request, unlike my experience at other salons. I don't really care for the leg massage simply because it isn't comfortable for me and I don't want to sit in the chair that long. I expressed this to John and he obliged, focusing only on my feet. I assumed Thuy or Lee would do my hands when I moved to the nail station so, when John set up across from me, I was weary. It's not that I believe men are not capable of doing nails. I just have not had good experiences. I did ask John about his experience working with dip powder and he confirmed that he had a lot of experience working with it. I tried to be at ease and allow John to do his thing. In the end, I was overjoyed with the job that John did. He showed great care with my hands and the layering & shaping of the dip powder. My nails are not lumpy, bulky, the powder is at my cuticle, all sides are covered, and after a month, the dip powder still looks like new. I have new growth, of course, but there is no lifting or chipping present. This has become my new go to salon.

If I lived here, this would be my go-to spot!!!!!

I found this place through Yelp and its good reviews. My mother and I came here last week on a…read moreThursday morning by appointment. The place was dead, but the atmosphere was inviting and there were cute decorations. The two girls that did our feet were friendly and took their time to make sure my mother and I received good pedicures. I thought it was weird they used toilet paper instead of foam toe separators for when they were painting our toes. They also didn't seem to have nail clippers to clip our toe nails, just nail files. After 4 days, my toe nail polish is already starting to chip too. At checkout, it became more clear that this place was really money hungry. Now this was my fault, but the deluxe pedicure we each got was $60.00 and then gel polish was $20.00. My mom and I usually spend about $55 ish on gel pedicures at other places, so an $80.00 gel pedicure is just way over priced. I mean if we had beverage service this might make more sense. Not to mention if you use a credit card there is a card fee. The lady that did my nails, Karen, was really pushy about tipping as well. She insisted we use Venmo or cash, which I get but when my Venmo wasn't working she seemed annoyed I had to tip via card for my mom and I. Overall, I don't think this place was terrible but it's way over priced and I don't think we'll be back.
