They gave me while they were fixing my car I didn't realize I forgot my wallet till Friday night and they were closed Saturday Sunday so unfortunately I couldn't go back till Monday and they let me know that someone had the car on the Friday This is what it looks like if anyone has any leads. I took my Mercedes GLE400 into No.1 Collision- Lougheed. The work was done on time but better than that, what FANTASTIC JOB !It was a fairly complex job ($13 K) and when I picked up my car it was even better than expected. Actually it was in SHOW ROOM QUALITY CONDITION. Amazing !!The details and I mean the smallest details were were taking care of down to a thank you card left on my dash and reminder of their lifetime warranty . Don't go here. They will scratch your car. I brought my BMW 528i xDrive here twice for collision repair and they didn't do a great job both times. The first time, after the repair there was a huge superficial scratch the shape of a giant ring on the hood. I figured they had placed a rotary tool or a bucket on the hood while repairing the car and that object left a mark on the finish. They buffed it out for me but wouldn't admit it was their technician or detailer that caused it. Then I realized my windshield washer pump wasn't working and the car was leaking washer fluid. They didn't connect the hoses properly. I had to bring the car back to have this fixed. The second time, I had a parking lot hit and run that required a headlight replacement and bumper paint job. When I picked up the car, I noticed the "new" headlight unit had a ton of scratches on it even more than the contralateral headlight that was 3 years old! And the grille had a ton of additional scratches on it that wasn't there before. I'm guessing while they were wiring the headlight unit they accidentally dropped it or put it on a table or cement floor LENS DOWN. Without placing a towel underneath. Same goes with the chrome grille. Shame on them. I was so pissed. I would tell them to rectify this but I have to move out of town soon and don't have the time to deal with a protracted saga. I echo all the comments of the previous review. We also had a small scratch on our bumper(hit and run). Made an appointment a month prior and was told it will take2-3 days. Called on the 4th day and Johnny said call back in another day to check on progress since they are extremely busy! He would also have to have a word with whoever quoted us 2-3 days. Extremely "unprofessional" on the phone and certainly displayed poor customer service attitude. I felt like I was begging them to work on my car...... Next time I will take it somewhere else that cares. I am sure I will be able to find another body shop in Vancouver that can do German cars! read more

I needed a hit and run repair done for my SUV so I took it into an accredited autobody shop that was nearby my house. It is nestled near a restaurant and I believe it's a new location. Hard to spot. When you enter, the place looks like a professional front office. Very sleek design with glass wall interiors, LCD TV, comfy couches and is completely spotless clean. It felt strange because I always felt autobody shops were oil slicky, dirty locales but at least you felt that something was going to be done to your car. Here was the 1st problem: This place didn't feel like that at all. It felt like I was taking my vehicle in for a manicure. Problem 2: The receptionist seemed very clueless and I couldn't really get two or three words out of her to find out what was going to happen to my car except for needing to leave my keys with them. I waited and waited for my courtesy vehicle. Finally a valet car rental staff came to pick me up and it was they who explained everything to me. Problem 3: After a few days of only guessing when the car will be done. I figured ballpark 2 or 3 days for a small bumper repair. I get a phone call on the day of pick up to let me know that they accidentally rear ended another one of their vehicles with my vehicle. I think a mechanic accidentally backed into my car! Yikes! Another 3-4 day wait. I complained and they made sure I got my costs covered which was probably the fair thing to do. I got my car back 5 days after they initially said it was completed. Their only saving grace was that they replaced one of the damaged parts with a more than acceptable part. It was over the top but I can see their need to keep me satisfied. I would go to another shop until they have their operations in order and their business identity figured out. They should be a client service with repair shop frame of mind first rather than client service focussing on image first. read more

When I scheduled an appointment with No. 1 Collision Group for the first time, the staff was informative and demonstrated friendly customer service. The staff ensured that a courtesy car would be available for me as soon as I dropped off my car. Recently, I received services from No. 1 Collision Group for the second time. As soon as I contacted their office, the staff graciously invited me to drop off my car without having to schedule an appointment. They assured that my car would receive the best care and were able to reserve a courtesy car that would be available in the next couple of hours. They even made arrangements for a taxi to drop me off at home. Due to some mix up on my end, by the time I returned to the body shop to pick up the courtesy car, the courtesy car rental staff had just left. No. 1 Collision Group advised me not to worry and quickly made an arrangement for one of their staff to give me a ride to the car rental company. The staff ensured that I was in good hands at the car rental company before departing. In addition to excellent craftsmanship, the body shop also honoured my additional requests by cleaning and detailing my car. I highly recommend the services from No. 1 Collision Group. read more

I have a BMW and they advertised that they specialize in BMW so I brought in my car for an ICBC claim. My BMW gets there on a Friday morning, first things first they have to do their own estimate of the damage and report to ICBC the total cost. They were supposed to call me when my car arrived, they didn't, I had to call them. I asked when they would be done with their estimate and they said because it was Friday they would get to it on Monday....Fair enough. Tuesday now arrives and no phone call still so I call them, they STILL have not begun my estimate (this should take a couple hours maximum) I go there in person to be greeted by arrogant, unhelpful staff who have an attitude that just left me feeling like I made a BIG mistake, and my instincts were right. My car was being stored outside in the rain, no one has looked at it yet, they deny me a courtesy car saying they are booked up but tell me by tomorrow it will be done (estimate). Wednesday still not done, Thursday still not done, Friday I call on 3 separate occasions (was lied to twice) and I now am beginning to be very frustrated as its been there for a week and they still have yet to even LOOK at it. By the end of the day they call and tell me that the car is "unrepairable", yet they haven't even forwarded any info to ICBC so how do they know ICBC will deem it "unrepairable"? Very shady. I go in on Saturday, estimate is done but they still have not sent it into ICBC claiming that they are now short staffed...8 DAYS AND NO ESTIMATE!! WOW. Got into argument with a couple of their staff and management, and I was literally laughed at and told to feel free to call the police if I felt they were doing anything wrong. HORRIBLE avoid these guys at all costs, you will be in for a nightmare. read more

This place is a certified BMW repair shop. The owner at No1 is very welcoming and friendly. I brought my BMW in because I had some damage on my rear bumper due to a hit and run accident. The receptionist was friendly on the phone and in person. They booked me in as soon as they could which was the following next day, first thing in the morning and they arranged a complimentary courtesy car for me. I didn't even have to wait for the courtesy car to arrive, it was already there by the time I got there. It's not the best courtesy car but it's through a third party, Hertz not the repair shop itself. The entire process took faster than expected and they also did a complimentary car wash. They also gave me details of what was fixed and how much the damage was. Since it was a hit and run where the other person was at fault with full witnesses, my deductible was waived.. otherwise I would have to paid an arm and a leg so no complaints!! :) read more

Good work but scratched my car. I washed my car at home before I sent it in for repair. I am a car enthusiast. I couldn't stand any scratch on my car or on my rims so I am 100% sure that my rims didn't have scratch before I send it in. I found a scratch on my front right wheel when I got my car back. When I talked to the manager, his attitude was rude and he kept implying that I am framing him. He said there is no concrete in the shop (there is concrete curb from parking all the way down to the repair shop). He was keep saying the damage has been there for a long time(I purchased my car literally 2 months ago). I had sent 3 family cars to this shop. I trusted this place so much I even recommended friends to come here when they needed body repair. I was extremely disappointed with the attitude of the manager. The repair was done properly and the receptionist was nice that's why there are two stars. read more

I went to this bodyshop a couple weeks ago to get my car repaired after an accident. The entire process of handing over my car keys to getting my car back and repaired took one week, which was very reasonable considering they had to replace several parts of the car. The staff were friendly. Namely, the assistant manager, Colin, was helpful and quick to give me an estimate. I received a quote almost instantly and they handled everything with submitting the information with my ICBC claim. He also set me up with one of the staff to get a courtesy car in a quick manner and called me when my car was ready. I used to go to #1 Collision in old location and amazing experiences - great customer service, kind, knowledgeable staff, quick but very well done repairs in a timely fashion , always kept me abreast of repair timelines and plans. At new location on Cambie I have had nothing but terrible experiences, must definitely be under new management!! I was told that they were getting parts for my car and it would be 1 week to get them , now has been over 6 weeks, no one calls back messages left to see where things are at , rude and scattered receptionists , condescending estimators, definitely going to speak to ICBC about my concerns and experience . I do not think they should be a valet shop doing the estimating . They feel very shady and not at all professional in how they deal with customers. Definitely would not recommend them at all which is really to bad as I used to recommend them all the time. Don't go here!!!! read more
