I send friends here, recommend them to whoever asks about my set, and always brag about each tech I get. Usually I'm calling in randomly and last minute asking to come in, so I'm never picky with the techs and they're always able to get me in every time right away. They save my nails and me 10x over and they don't even know it!! They offer complimentary drinks and are always so friendly. I've gotten dozens of long gelx sets here over the years and can say I've rarely ever broken a nail or gotten cut. The gel is always perfectly cured and my designs are PERFECT. Every tech who does my nails envisions my ideas to a T. And it means a lot because my designs are usually not easy to do. With that being said, the price is always reasonable and always around what I'm expecting to spend. There's never any blindsiding or miscommunication when it comes time to pay. And the lil discount for paying in cash always adds the cherry on top. My sets last over a month so I'm coming in like clockwork every 4-5 weeks without miss. Out of all the nail salons in my area I've tried to give a chance to, the ones on the corner of my street, ones next to my laundromat, even the ones I see on instagram, my loyalty is with Chrome. The other nails salons don't top the service and quality that Chrome NailBar delivers to me.

When I pointed out that the flowers were supposed to be pink and purple, she appeared frustrated about having to redo them. I apologized for the misunderstanding and explained that I thought the white was just the base color that would be painted over. After that, I felt uncomfortable with how my service was handled. While doing my cuticle work, the technician nicked my skin twice, and toward the end of the service seemed to be digging the cuticle cutter into my fingers more aggressively. I brought the cuts to management's attention before leaving. I also had concerns about the pricing. My total was $122, and I was told I was receiving a $7 discount, bringing the total to $115. However, the salon advertises a cash discount, and when I offered to pay cash, I was told I could not receive the cash discount because I was already receiving the $7 discount from fingers being cut. This was confusing and did not feel transparent. To be fair, I do like how my nails turned out, and I tipped both technicians because I appreciated the work that was done. However, customer service and professionalism are just as important as the final result. I have experienced similar issues here before, and after this visit I don't feel comfortable returning. I've included photos of the cuts on my fingers as well as the finished nails so others can make their own judgment. Each time I always emphasize the need for very clean cuticles. I was generally ok or happy with that request each time. This time, I wanted nails fully ready for Halloween since my toddler son loves Halloween. I, once again communicated that I wanted very clean cuticles and designs on all my nails at appointment booking. Truth be told, this is the first time ever I am getting designs on all my fingernails. I guess that request finally got me an appointment with a very experienced technician, Jaden. I came in with builder gel nails. She decided against a refill and removed the existing builder to do a fresh builder. I have never seen builder done the way she did! Nails did not come out thick and chunky like previous times. They feel like my real nails! Just a lot stronger! She put a builder glob on your nail then putting a gel X nail over it to apply it onto your existing nail with a curing light. You'll have to request for her and try it. I can't fully describe it. Her designs on my nails were perfect! They were fun, whimsical and fully ready for Halloween. The final test was approval from my son! Cuticles are nice and clean. Nails are fully loaded for Halloween. All approved by my most important critic. I am one happy woman!

My nails looked like wide eggs. The tech told me it was because my natural nail base is wide and that they "would've looked better longer"--something they absolutely should have advised me on before starting. Because I had my 3-year-old daughter with me (who also got a paid service), I left and called them from the car. They explicitly told me to come back and they would redo them. When I drove all the way back, they flipped the script. They refused to redo them because I left the store. I asked for a simple reshape instead; they said yes on the phone, but once I walked in, they refused again, saying it would make them look worse. It wasn't until I demanded they just take them off completely that they finally agreed to reshape them. Please look at my media. The photos show they look way better after the reshape (going from wide houses to almond), meaning they lied to me just to avoid fixing their mistake. Furthermore, the video shows the terrible application: the nails are angled upward instead of flat, and the pinky is totally crooked. It is a horrible feeling to be treated this poorly by a business you have supported for years. Never again. You first said you could redo them and then said you couldn't. Leo didn't not want to reshape them till I told him to remove them. You did absolutely nothing to help in this incident and only embarrassed me as a customer. Do not come in here talking about policy when you disrespect your clients. Shame on you for your poor response and service.

I was paired with Amy and omg. She killed it. Not only do I absolutely love the final product, but the care and attention she put was really impressive. Every time I get my nails done, I always experience a bit of pain when the ladies rub my skin by accident. Amy was so thorough and made the experience perfect. I felt so comfortable. One of my nails ripped from my prior nail set and Amy was sooooo gentle with it. Whereas others experience, I always got rough treatment. Outside of that, the vibes of this place is genuinely immaculate. I can tell from the energy of the other girls that they love this place. It just felt so welcoming. I usually never feel that way. If you take time to scroll, you can see they also have multiple negative reviews due to hygiene issues, causing infections, appointment issues, customer service issues, and others who have had issues with Tracy directly. There are also tons of fake yelp reviews that yelp does not recommend. You can access those at the very bottom. Reviews from accounts that have no other reviews and no yelp friends. I debated on whether or not I was going to post this, but nobody deserves to be treated the way Tracy treated me based on a blind assumption. Please think twice about coming here. You get what you pay for here and that's why they have "deals" Monday-Wednesday for 4 hours. Every time I went in some poor lady would come back upset because her nails broke 2 days later after getting her manicure or within 5 days. They'll blame you every time for it too. Their facility is not clean at all and the restroom there will confirm it. Their nail products are old and expired as well. They'll play nice until they get called out for their lack of consistent work and blame you for the nails not lasting long when it really is all about how they prepped your nails. You're not saving money if you're having to go back every week and you're better off paying an additional 20 dollars for a longer lasting manicure.
