They are given a mystery basket of ingredients 90min prior to the dinner session to create meals plans with a sous chef. When you are seated, we were given a plate of bread with a raspberry butter as an appetizer. It was lovely. As the chef are cooking you are able to watch the whole process and ask them any questions. They cannot really accommodate for allergies and dietary restrictions. After each course, you are to rate the dish on presentation, taste, and creativity. And at the end, everyone is to announce which chef you believe is the winner. If you are not a speaker, you may want to mentally prepare a few sentences to say about each chef. My guests all were coming up to me all night saying how great the food was! I also hired a waiter (Rustum) through Bites BK who was a lifesaver.
