From the first 5 minutes on the tour, I was disappointed and honestly disgusted with my experience. Being 1 of 13 people on a 100 degree day, we obviously needed air conditioning. Anthony wouldn't turn it on until we all signed our waivers and "his door was closed." What the two had to do with one another is beyond me. This was the first clue this trip was going to be a nightmare. Common courtesy would have been to make sure the van was cooled down each time we had to get in, but instead we crammed in and sweat from stop to stop. He was completely unprofessional, was on his phone the entire time at the breweries, and offered no knowledge or insight into the breweries we were visiting. As a self-proclaimed "beer guy," I didn't understand his lack of interaction with our group. Instead, he made a scene at our last stop which was a complete embarrassment. Even the guys working at the breweries apologized and knew we weren't the ones with the issue. When I tried respectfully speaking to him about what was going on, he threatened to leave us at the brewery and find our own way home. Our other option was to immediately leave and cut our tour short, which we were forced to do. He had something against our group, as stated, from the first few minutes of the tour. It's a real shame that my best friend put so much effort into making her husband's birthday special and we were all treated so poorly. Luckily, the breweries themselves were wonderful, accommodating, and seemed to truly enjoy our group, unlike our driver who was disrespectful and made us all uncomfortable, and is incredibly overpriced. Considering it was 70 dollars for a ride and a four ounce pour at each of three breweries per person is outrageous, especially when considering NJ state law, breweries are required to give you a tour for free! In fact, most places require a tour. The way this is advertised makes it seem like you're getting something extra for going on NJ Brew Tours. Save your money. Visit the breweries on your own. read more

Went for my birthday today and was extremely disappointed. The breweries were great, but our guide was not accommodating. My wife set up the trip, he was rude throughout the booking process and the tour. At one point he was refusing to drive us home, because we were having too much fun according to him. No one in our group was embarrassing or drunk, not saying we were not buzzed. The whole experience was uncomfortable, not to mention the ride home. read more

Awesome time with NJ Brew tours. I planned it as the first part of my brother's bachelor weekend, and it was a great experience. The communication throughout the planning and up through the day was constant and helpful. We went to an awesome distillery and two breweries. I highly recommend doing the combo tour. I attended a brewery and distillery mixed tour with a group of friends. The booking experience with Anthony was really smooth. He was really helpful and answered all of my questions. He helped me to plan the perfect tour for our group. We visited two breweries and one distillery. The breweries offered a variety of beers to taste and we even got to try some different items at the distillery. NJ spirits was so much fun! They even offer Bloody Mary flights with their locally made vodka. So cool. The tour experience was perfect for our group. Anthony, the owner also ran our tour. He made us feel comfortable and he informed us on the history of breweries in NJ. He even bought a cooler on the van so that we could keep any growlers cold. Overall it was a great way to catch up with friends and try some of what New Jersey has to offer. Can't wait to do another!! read more

This was a very deceiving tour. We had 13 friends with us and paid $85 each and in total it was $1200. We went to 3 breweries and for the $85 we got a pretzel necklace and a ride to the breweries, which we could have gotten from uber. There was 1 real tour out of the 3 breweries and with that you were lucky to get a 5 ounce glass of beer from each brewery. One brewery had no idea we were suppose to be there and charged all the guests. When you pay $85 you expect that you will be able to try at least 2-3 beers, but on this brewery tour for $85 or more "Alcohol is not included" a quote from the owner. Just know what you're getting when you sign up! read more

Already planning my next tour! Went on a tour with a group of work friends. We went to three different local distilleries. Each place had its own flare. One had a really cool tap room, while another had an exceptional tour guide that even served us some homemade cake! We tasted a variety of spirits and some of the locations also had mixed drinks for sale. I even purchased apple pie moonshine. Anthony, the guide was great! He was friendly and kept the tour flowing throughout the day. We booked the tour privately but this was a great idea for a safe, corporate event! As someone who is always looking for new things to do, this is was such a good way tour distilleries and catch up with old friends. A great time! read more

Nj Beer Tours provides a great day drinking activity for my friend's 30th. We decided on a distillery tour because a few of my friends are gluten-free. This was a good option for us because we were able to order some mixed drinks after sampling some of the alcohol. The owners of the distilleries were super welcoming and gave us a lot of information on the tours. The owner drove us that day and he was really friendly and made sure we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this a something different to do with friends. We tasted a lot of great, local alcohol. We were able to purchase bottles and store them in the van between stops. This was a really convenient option for us to check out multiple distilleries in one day. I can't wait to book a brewery tour next! read more

I have never been so disappointed in a service in my life. I booked this tour for my husbands 30th birthday, and the way we were treated was unbelievable from the very beginning. It seemed that Anthony had something against our group, or he just has absolutely no concept of good customer service. He was not friendly AT ALL, barely spoke the entire tour, gave us no knowledge of anything, wouldn't turn the air on when we first got in the van until we handed in our waivers (which took a while bc we had 13 papers to sign and it was about 100 degrees out!), didn't start the van ahead of time before we got in after the first brewery so we were all sweating profusely while we drove right down the road to the next brewery. When one of us asked if he could start the van a few minutes ahead after the next brewery HE SAID NO. I had to ask again and tell him that it was unbearable in that van and he then agreed to start it ahead of time. Now I believe that the point of going on a brew tour is to drink beer... which we did!! Nobody had too much, and nobody got out of control in anyway whatsoever. We had a wonderful time at each brewery and the staff at every brewery enjoyed our presence very much. At the last brewery we were enjoying our tour of the brewery, all being a bit chatty but most of us were very interested and chatting with the man that was giving the tour. He told us we were one of his favorite groups!!! Apparently Anthony thought we were having too much fun and yelled at us to stop being disrespectful and let the man do his job. One of our group members told him to calm down and that we were having fun and not doing anything wrong! Anthony then Told me that we had to leave right away, earlier than we had agreed on. He told us that we could take our stuff off of the bus and find our own way home, or we could leave right that second. We did absolutely nothing to deserve that treatment- even the men working at the brewery apologized to us!!!!!! I can not believe we spent money on this.... do not waste your money!!!!!!! Get an Uber, Lyft, or limo!! And tour the breweries on your own. It will be much more enjoyable. read more
