Leading up to the day we needed her to take out the pup, we set up a meet and greet so Fiona knew where to go, address any questions or concerns and also get familiar with the dog. On the day, I got videos and messages from Fiona saying how much fun the pup had in the park with the pooches. Her rates are competitive and totally reasonable. While she doesn't normally service the Strathbungo/Queens Park area, if you are in the Hamilton area Fiona is brilliant. The pup and I are forever grateful to her, when others have proved to be unhelpful or unreliable.

The timid little dog has come on leaps and bounds in his confidence and his behaviour with other dogs. Jacqui told us in her professional opinion that he could be walked off the lead and she was right. She sent us loads of video and told us how she managed him off the lead. His recall is brilliant and we've worked on the building blocks she gave us. He even eats better now. When I spoke to the cattery's owner, she told me that her cattery was also fully booked between the dates I was looking for. She sounded as if she was about to hang up when I just managed to ask her if it would still be possible to arrange a visit to have a look at her cattery for future reference. She then replied that she could not see any point me doing so considering that her cattery was booked for the dates that I was looking for. I pointed that it would be useful for future reference because the cattery that I normally use was also fully booked. She then insisted on me telling her what was my usual cattery. Considering the tone, I replied that I did not find relevant to provide such information. So she ended this conversation by stating that since I did not wish to disclose the name of my usual cattery, she did not want to 'steal' a customer from another cattery and literally hung up on me. I must admit that I was left in shock by such a rudeness. The irony is that in the so called 'positive feedbacks' from customers on her website, the first one states that she went to Dalkeith Cattery because her usual one was fully booked and that she was so happy about it that she never went back to the old onewas it a positive thing for Dalkeith Cattery or a bad one? Anyway, considering the owner's rudeness, I will never set a foot in this so called 'wondeful' place. The owner's attitude is simply apalling.
