I have considered…read moreother catteries around Edinburgh but none seem to offer the same value for money and service as this one. I don't have a car, so transporting animals is out of the question (we occasionally get the bus to the vets but that is a bloody nightmare I can tell you.) Luckily Ingliston Cattery offers a 'Pet Taxi' service! They come to my flat at a specified time and pick up The Cat then deliver her back when I'm home from my 'holidays' (when did going home become my holidays?!) Admittedly the timing/communication on a few of these pick ups and drop offs has been a little off, but overall it's been fairly good. The Cat comes back in good shape, well fed and usually in decent mood. I am generally updated in great detail (sometimes too much detail...I don't keep track of her 'leavings' they do...) My continued custom speaks for itself!

It was only when my friend called the cattery to make inquiries that they told her (more than a week after he had gone missing) that the cat was in fact lost! They had also done very little to find him (apart from look in the ceiling). My friend has had to return from her holiday early in order to undertake the heartbreaking task of trying to find her beloved cat. Was such a relief to not put Lady in cattery as she doesn't fair well being taken away from home. Needless to say I came back to a very happy and content cat.
