Horrible service , The place is a cattle call , and once you are finally called they promise anything to get you in a seat . During my current experience I was looking for a certain opi color and was ignored by several techs in the salon when trying to reach the bottles to find a certain color . I was directed to find the color on a swatch stick . Just to cover that they didn't even carry the color that I even want it. When I asked if they had the color because I did not see it anywhere in the shop at all on the rolling rack, or on the wall I kept getting ignored on my question and being directed back to a swatch ring. I've been here a few times just for the fact that it's right by my house but each time that I've been here , I've encountered terrible service . The pedicure ladies are pretty sweet & friendly for the most part but it's the "nail techs " that'll have this place go downhill ! They're very cocky and feels entitled when in all reality they're very much amateur when it comes to the nail game in 2022! I asked for a French tip & this is what I got! My tech was Tom & I told him I didn't like my nails & he tried nothing to fix it . Tom kept telling me "well this is what you asked for " NO ITS NOT. If I'm getting my nails done ... why can I still see my damaged nails under his work ?? I should be leaving the salon loving my nails by any means necessary! This is what you called unprofessional & someone who doesn't take pride & love in what they do . The male technician that did my set was in such a hurry to get to the next person he didn't care how about the quality of his work. All the edges are rough and not smooth. The sides are uneven. When I told the lady who did my pedicure because the man had already run off to another person, she got frustrated, she was trying to fix it but still was not fixing it the way I was asking her to. I asked to see the file because I would just do it myself and she refused. These nails look cheap and feel brittle. Never coming back here again. Not many colors to choose from either. read more

Tom did my nails and my pinky nail was a little lifted, after he filed my nails he saw that it didn't look right so he clipped it and filed it to put another one on. He asked me multiple times if I still wanted the same style which I loved. He took about 30-40 minutes with my full set and I'm not complaining about my set! Don't bother, this place is like a cattle call. I called on a Wednesday to make the earliest appointment they had (as soon as they opened) well Tom said we don't make appointments, you just have to walk in. Ok, fair enough. I arrive at 8:40am 20 mins before opening. There was one lady already waiting. Well the cars start to pull up and then I decide to get out and wait by the door. The time comes, I was second to put my name on the list and then about 6 more people behind me write thete names down. Tom gets up, calls one of the girls after me. I found that odd, and chose not to say a word at first But then another nail tech gets up and calls someone from the bottom of the list. He then proceeds to ask me who I want to do my nails and pedicure since Tammy is not there. I politely state to him that I thought they didn't take appointments, as 2 girls from the bottom were called before us. He said you'll have to speak to Tom about that, I said that he was the one I spoke to on Wednesday about appointments and he told me no appointments just walk ins. The guy shrugged at me, and started talking in Vietnamese to Tom. At this point I felt no respect as a client, So I just said to scratch name off, and I left. The only person that kept me coming back time after time was Tammy, who does excellent work. I don't think I'll waste my time here anymore. My money is just as green. Dont tell me I told you so. Very Rude and Unprofessional! I signed up for a pedicure and refill. My pedicure was done. The polish looked amateur and my toe nails were filed crooked. I wasn't going to worry about it. Then they kept skipping me for my refill on my hands. When I questioned them about it, they just said sorry and started on someone else's nails like I would just continue to wait. I called and I asked for original price of nails over the phone he gave me a price of $30 and up then when I get there the guys tells me it's $60. You need to know your price and not fluctuate prices you are gauging the customers. When I sat down the guy ended up putting my nails very crooked and told me my nail is crooked, that's always the excuse. I came in at 9:30am for a pedicure and full set. Got pedicure but didn't get nails done because tech said he had a customer and could I come back. Mind you now one had signed in. But customer came in and sat in his sit. No appointments. Wow came back at 1pm and still he wasn't ready had to wait over thirty minutes. If you look at my reviews- I am extremely hard on nail spas. This has been my expertise having been in the biz over 10 years. Most people might rate this place higher than me - but knowing what I know I can't give them more stars. I did go into this place trying to not to be so picky especially considering the price point but one major factor made me cringe with horror. Ok - here goes: My nail tech did not speak word of english. Not one word. Seriously. I had to do hand signals to guide her to what I wanted. When my nail polish was tough taking off she pulled out a DRILL. How are you going take off polish with a DRILL? I was like NO WAY. Ok- be calm- strike one. She pulled out cuticle nippers to cut my cuticles and I told her I just wanted them to be pushed back. No cutting (I get terrible hang nails). She did not understand me. A male coworker had to come explain it to her. It was so weird because he then took the cuticle pusher and proceeded to show her how to push cuticles back. UMMM. Aren't you licensed? They teach you that at school before you can get your license. Strike 2 This was my breaking point. When she brought out the implements, they should be in sealed sterilization bags. When they are put through the sterilization process these bags crinkle and change colors. The bag she brought out was not sealed and was not "cooked". When she pulled out an implement it still had skin from the previous client....which means they didn't even clean & wash them with soap. This is a MAJOR no-no. You can contaminate someone with dirty tools. They carry harmful germs and bacteria. You can easily get Hepatitis C from dirty tools. It is the LAW for you to sterilize your implements. I was thinking while I was sitting there: most people won't know the difference. I do because I have owned a nail spa. I wonder if they do this all the time and how many people they can be exposing to this? Major strike 3. Nothing else matters- I won't even get into the terrible nail polish job I had her do twice because it was so thick and sloppy. I am going to soften the blow by saying the spa itself is new and very clean. They were very busy on a Sunday so they do have many fans of their work (my sister included). My husband gets mad at me because he thinks my expectations are too high for the cheap places I am going to. He should have never said that- his wallet will be hurting now that I am returning to the higher-end nails spas. Lesson learned. read more

It was my first time here as I am new to the neighborhood and I had looked at their recent reviews and pictures and seemed like a good close place to try. First impression I got was that it was very busy. I came in on a Sunday around 4 in the afternoon, I was greeted and asked by a nice lady what I wanted done. I proceeded to ask for a pedi and a full set. I wasn't so sure what I really wanted and the lady actually helped me choose a bomb combo that I fell in love with. She was also the lady who did my pedicure and I will say this place or this lady which I should've gotten her name did the best pedicure I have ever gotten from any place. I had Lanon do my full set and he did an amazing job and gave me the best shape ever. Overall this place did an amazing job and their prices are the cherry on top. read more

My friends and I like to frequent this place, especially right before vacation. I have been hear to get mani/pedis and to get my niece's nails painted on her birthday. They have great prices for men, they do my niece's nails as if she was a grownup and most of all, I have always felt super welcomed. Imagine three guys showing up with crusty feet (my friends', not mine....LoL) and we get offered wine, hospitality, professional nail service and excellent customer care. The two stars are for service and my satisfaction for the first week after my full set. I had to ask them to be a little more detailed in my pedicure. I hate micromanaging pedicures, but it has to be done. Helen did my full set and it was amazing, for 7 days. After that half of my nails started lifting. I would normally march right back up there, but in this case I was on vacation for another 7 days so I had to deal. I liked the shape and color of my nails but that is it. I used to come here when I would get basic mani/pedis but when I began to get into nail art I started going to another salon that was recommended to me. I decided to go back to Niva nails for a pedicure since I was in need, I got off of work early, and it is by my house - big mistake. The nail polishes were very old and i can tell they are watered down to make them last longer, smh. I was seen immediately but the nail tech was not good. She did a really sloppy job and the nail polish was very thick and "globbed" on. When I expressed to her that the polish was no good and that I was unsatisfied she had the nerve to charge me $5 to repaint my toenails with another polish. I wish I would not have agreed because of course she did just as bad as she did the first time although the polish was not as clumpy because I picked a fresher bottle. Needless to say I will never come back and stick to the place I've been going to where I can get WAY better quality for the same price. read more
