Lucky for me, I was helped by Luis and it's safe to say HE HOOKED IT UP! I'm honestly glad I trusted his recommendations and his work. I originally been looking into the Wolfbox 3-channel system, specifically because its popular with the bronco but after explaining to him what I wanted and the kind of coverage I was looking for, Luis recommended the Acumen M4 Quad instead, It gave me four camera channels with coverage for the front, rear AND both sides of my Bronco. I've been sideswiped before, so having that extra coverage was a huge selling point for me. Now when I look at my Bronco and know I have cameras covering all four sides, I genuinely feel more secure no matter how crazy LA drivers / traffic gets. The finished setup is seriously PRISTINE* My rearview mirror is now a digital display for the camera system, and Luis installed cameras underneath both side mirrors that integrate with my turn signals. When I signal, the camera for that side comes up on the display so I can actually see what's next to me which is better than most new-age stock set-ups. But what really impressed me was how CLEAN the installation came out. Look at the pictures! Nothing looks like it was just thrown onto my car. Luis even CUSTOM PRINTED a mount specifically fitted for the spare on my Bronco to get the best possible view of my rear camera. That attention to detail alone showed me I had someone working on my vehicle who actually knew what he was doing. I'm VERY particular about who I let touch my car and I ask a lot of questions. Luis was very knowledgeable, explained my different options, and gave me the information I needed to make my own informed decision without pressuring me into buying something I wasn't comfortable with. Another thing I really liked was the support after the installation. Luis explained that as an Acumen distributor, if I ever have an issue with the camera system or need help with a warranty concern, I can work directly with him instead of having to figure everything out through some random third party or dealing with some long over-the-phone wait to go through some customer service representative. We all know what a pain and waste of time that can be. I really like knowing I can go back to the same person who actually installed it and knows exactly how everything was set up to fix whatever issue may arise with my equipment. The entire installation was completed within one day, the price was very reasonable for the amount of work involved, and I ended up getting MORE functionality than I originally planned for. I'm still planning on doing my stereo upgrade, so I'll definitely be coming back when I'm ready for phase two. For now, this camera installation alone was worth leaving the review. Unfortunately, right after the camera installation, my car started making a noise it had never made before, coming from the same area where the installation took place. Alonzo believes it may be the brake booster. I can't say for sure the installation caused it, but the timing is concerning. I want to believe that if something was accidentally disturbed during the installation, it was simply an accident. I did tell him I was stuck between 55% windshield and 15% all around or go with 35% windshield and 5% all around. I came back to check the car out after it was finished, I am very happy with the 55% windshield and 15% all around as that is already dark enough for privacy. For someone like me that drive a lot and drive at night time a lot - I will consider this a gray area for driving at night time. If I went with 35% windshield and 5% all around - I don't think i'd be as happy lol. That would be too dangerous at night time driving. I also got the head lights PPF (light smoke). Day one, due to moisture was scary to drive at night time. After day one was over, it looked phenomenal from the inside out... I was debating on changing the PPF head lights out for clear on day one, now that I am used to it and the moisture disappeared, I can see just fine at day and night. Only thing I can say about the cons, I noticed a little bit of glue left over on the side window. Besides that, they did a very good job and Leo don't mess around about his business, he is serious about getting the job done right.

I recently hit a loose car tire on the freeway which left some damage on my front bumper. The PPF came in clutch and protected most of my original car paint. Unfortunately, the impact did penetrate through some parts of the PPF and left residual scratch marks, however had I not had the PPF the damage would have been much worse and cost a lot more to fix. Leo, Allen, and Dom were so kind to help me clean up and fix the area and make it look as new as possible. One thing with cars and technology, and especially being an early adopter with Teslas, is that things don't always move in a perfectly straight line. I do track the car, so I'm probably putting some of these parts through more abuse than the average customer. There's a genuine passion for motorsports and EVs here that's pretty hard to find. Tesla moves ridiculously fast, and UP is trying to keep pace with a platform that's constantly evolving. You don't need to be a track person to come here. Tesla has to build cars for mass production and the average consumer, so there's plenty of room to improve or personalize things depending on how you use the car. Whether it's time to replace an OEM part or you want something better suited to handling, performance, or your particular use case, UP is absolutely worth checking out. There are plenty of shops around SoCal, including shops that cater to EVs, but UP in Hawthorne is where I trust taking my car. TeslaCorsa has also become one of my favorite things about owning a Tesla. Street drivers be crazy out here , so I'd much rather explore the limits of the car at an actual closed road course. It's a safer place to improve the human pilot, learn what the car can really do (Track Mode is such a blessing), and test aftermarket upgrades from UP or anyone else. Plus, it makes owning an EV way more fun. There's also often onsite support from UP at TeslaCorsa events, which is pretty awesome when you're actually putting this stuff to the test. I don't expect everything to be perfect, especially when you're pushing new technology. What matters to me is how a company responds when something doesn't go perfectly and whether they're willing to work with you to figure it out. That's been my experience with UP, and I really appreciate having a company willing to keep pushing the performance side of EVs forward.
