Their pieces were unique and beautiful. We then proceeded to go around to all the shops in Edison. We didn't find the same quality except at Sajda, but those very 4x the price. So we went back to make an appt at Khajana for the next day but they said we had to do it online. So we made it online (there is a $35 charge for the appt). When we came to our appt, they didn't have it in the system and they weren't very welcoming at that point but we showed that we did pay so they helped us and we ended up buying 4 pieces. I think their selection is one of the best in Edison but they could have overall been more warmer and more friendly is my only feedback. I think they were more friendly once they knew we were buying but it would have been nice to be received that way from the start.

I initially had picked a lehenga from another establishment in Edison which turned out to be defective when it finally came time to be picked up. At this point, we had wasted too much time and money and were very skeptical to try another place. But I am so glad we did! At Maharani we had help from Ravi, Kalpana and Shashi. The customer service was amazing and they had a huge selection and variety of different types of outfits. I was able to pick out both a wedding and reception lehenga that I loved and was even able to customize the color and amount of work on each. Everyone was very attentive and made sure to clarify all details with me and even mentioned things that I hadn't even thought to clarify. I was happy with the expertise provided by Kalpana and Ravi regarding style adjustments to make my lehenga even more special. You can tell they really have been doing this for a long time. Although I had a great experience in store, I was still skeptical that I would receive both my lehengas in the 3 week span they promised especially since those 3 weeks included the holidays and we already felt so behind on our shopping. Luckily, we ended up getting a call that both lehengas were ready EARLY! We went in to try them on and each needed a few alterations which the tailor was able to get done within an hour! I was so happy with the way both of my outfits turned out that we even ended up picking out my fiance's sherwani and my sister's reception lehenga there, which were also perfect and delivered in a timely manner.
