This restaurant has wonderful space--they have indoor seating and then a separate, HUGE pavilion. We opted for the pavilion because it is dog-friendly. It was perfect--multiple TVs, long bench-style tables for parties of all sizes, a stage for live music, a small bar area, and outside of it, pickleball courts! To eat, I ordered some "Mozzarella Cheese sticks," a "Brisket Sandwich," and a side of "Mac and Cheese." The cheese sticks came out fresh with cheese melted and dangling with every bite as it should. The brisket in the sandwich was moist and tender and the Mac and cheese was also very flavorful and delicious. I topped it off with some sweet tea. The cherry on top for us was the wonderful customer service--a manager/owner came out and spoke with us, asked where we were from and thanked us for coming by. Great hospitality. We had an amazing experience here and would recommend Massey's to anyone!! Can't wait to come back whenever we're in town.

The fat sizzle flavor hit me more as an off note than 'Ah yeah, Llano q'. Also, Llano-style q is heavy on the salt. I guess my taste buds have grown up. Also, the H8 sauce is NOT traditional Llano thin ketchup vinegar style dip. On 2nd thought, if the meat was cooked direct over coals, the better option might have been to go for the pulled pork, ala North Carolina style. But, this is Texas, after all.
