Along Highway 309, a long stretch of highway, with wind blowing in your hair, and just when you think you'll never find a place to eat, you see Mi Mexico Grill. It's a small restaurant with seating and take out. Good music playing, friendly staff, and GREAT FOOD. This is one place that is the secret food jewel sitting in Gatesville, TX, and the locals don't want you to know about.
My friends and I are from CA, and they now live in Texas, and we know our Mexican food having eaten from the time it was introduced to us in babyhood. Mi Mexico Grill serves the traditional plates typical of other restaurants: burritos, fajitas, enchiladas, and so on. AND these are huge portions for a under $10.00 price.
Okay, now here is the thing: I was there in January 2011, and asked a staff member for the address because I wanted to write about this place and spread the word. I have finally gotten around to it: I've held onto this address throughout a trip to Mexico, Cayman Islands Jamaica, South Korea, India, States, the Middle East, and now back in South Korea. Why?
