Plenty of parking, right off the main road, and more room inside than it appears. Waitress was on the job, excellent friendly service, was right there to take drink orders, and checked up on us throughout the meal. They were actually standing there waiting for us to sit with the chips and salsa. Definitely had the look of a local favorite, we were there after the lunch rush, I'm sure it's packed on weekend nights. All the food came out really fast, but was all fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. The menu had tons of variety, will take multiple visits to work through. That Texas staple, sweet tea, was especially good, had a lot of flavour served in large glasses. Would almost be worth stopping in during the summer just for some of the tea! Really nice space for a meal, and very friendly service!

Instead of just chips and salsa, the basket has both chips and chicharrons, and a bean dip as well. Generous amount, didn't run out, and tasted fresh. We had the Chile Rellano and white chicken enchiladas, pretty tasty and filling. Most of the food needed a touch of salt, and wasn't spicy. If you have to watch salt intake, or have issues with over spiced food, this would be a good option. Tea was served in mason jars, been a while since I've seen that. After the lunch rush there were only two occupied tables so I was seated immediately. The server led me to my seat, handed me a menu, and asked me what I wanted to drink. I chose water with lemon which was quickly brought along with chips and salsa. The salsa was flavorful and not too spicy. I ordered TexMex Enchiladas from the lunch section of the menu. My food was brought to the table surprisingly fast! The beans and enchiladas were hot. The rice was a little on the room temperature side but still warm enough not to complain. I finished my food pretty quickly and lingered a bit munching on chips and salsa. No complaints from the staff. I asked if they happened to have churros and they do! The server said that they come four churros to an order so I asked for an order for dessert. The churros took about 7 minutes or so to cook. They were served extremely hot since they just came out of the fryer. They were served on a plate arranged like a hashtag with five dollops of whipped cream. The plate was sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and drizzled with honey. Each churro was filled with a cream custard. They were very tasty! Total came to $22 with tip. Not too bad these days!

Wow who would have ever thought to put Mexican rice topped with queso and fajita chicken meat. It was delish!!!! They served it with tortillas and chips. I loved it. I also tried the new fajita nachos. It was absolutely amazing as well. We also got the fajitas for two the last time and it was so much meat! The meat had great flavor. It was so much food. Our only complaint was that it literally came with 4 small tortillas and when we asked for a couple more they were going to charge us. There was no way even if we filled the tortillas to the top that 4 would be plenty. It's a pretty small space, but every time we have been there we didn't have to wait. That isn't saying that there wasn't a bunch of people, I am simply saying we picked good times to go. Ha ha The wait staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The taco was crispy but a little greasy and overloaded with cheese. The ground beef needed more flavor. The enchiladas were also drowned in cheese and sour cream, and while the chicken was salted, it lacked flavor. The rice was bland. The charro beans were easily the highlight of the meal. They had the perfect texture--not too firm or too soft--and a rich depth of flavor that stood out from everything else on the plate. I would happily order those again. Overall, the food was decent, but I was hoping for bolder, more balanced flavors.
