A Hidden Gem for Blondes - Gina is Amazing!…read more I recently moved from Las Vegas and had a tough time finding a quality hairdresser, especially as a blonde. Achieving that perfect platinum without the yellow tones seemed impossible--until I found Gina. She absolutely nailed it! Not only is she a true expert with blonde hair, but her warm, welcoming personality makes you feel right at home. I used to dread getting my hair done, but now, thanks to her, it's something I actually look forward to. I'm beyond happy to have found her and can't recommend her enough! If you're looking for someone who knows their way around blonde, Gina's your girl!

If you think you've seen thick hair, you haven't seen mine. This is what stylists consistently have…read moresaid to me throughout my entire life. And I've had a lot of really disappointing cuts. It's very hard for me to find a stylist who understands, and can manage, my hair type. It's thick, but not super coarse. It's curly. It's a lot. And I have a lot of empathy for the women and men who have had to try to work miracles on it throughout the years. But where many have failed (despite valiant efforts) this unassuming, affordable little salon has CONSISTENTLY nailed cuts for my hair type. I saw Lana for awhile until she moved on. When I went to see Hailey, I was nervous, because I've historically had to REALLY negotiate the laws of physics with stylists new to my hair to achieve even remotely what I want in a cut. Hailey just took one look at my hair and said "This is gonna be so fun," and that's when I knew that lightning would strike twice and it did. I went from long, thick, wavy hair to a really cute french bob that hits in ALL the right places because Hailey knows what she's doing. They all do, as far as evidence suggests. I've never had a bad cut here. There is something about this modest and unassuming location that attracts really master stylists. My hair is troublesome and I've NEVER had a bad cut in this little salon. Not a single one. And bonus, after you're done, you can go get some incredible corned beef next door :D

No explanation that they were running behind even though that was evident. My appt was with one person and that is who I thought was working on me because she never introduced herself to me when I got into the chair. I only found out that it was the owner working on me because someone said her name. I brought it up to her and she said well we swapped clients because I was running behind. Mind you this was after she was over half way done foiling my hair. I have no problem with this at all except I felt that it should of been brought to my attention when I got there or at least when I was called back. She was not real talkative in the beginning. Which I thought was strange because she is the owner ( even though I didn't know that at that time), but the ice got broken and we chatted it up. She did a good job on my hair. My hair needed it, it had been a long time since I had colored or cut my hair. I am not one to go to salons to get my hair done. I feel that they charge way to much money. I usually have a home based person doing my hair. I feel that if they kept their prices down then people would tip better. I'm talking about any salon here. So for me I was there for 2 1/2 hrs the place was clean not super busy which was actually nice. In the end had a good experience and would recommend this place to others. Do I feel there is room for improvement yes, but anybody can have an off day. The 2 people that I had contact with very nice.

Found out Thursday night that my cousin died and the funeral was Saturday so had to cancel. I called Friday morning and got no answer and no option to leave a message. I had to go into work and in my work setting I cannot have my phone and have no access to one. At lunch I went out to my car and called to cancel and was told I'd have to pay the cancelation fee of 25%. I explained the situation and the lady who answered the phone showed no sympathy or empathy and repeated it was policy. My appointment was to be at 9am Saturday. Found out about funeral at 8pm Thursday. Called Friday at 7am before walking into work and can't leave a message. Called around 11:30 when I took lunch. I even offered proof, which I shouldn't have to do. Now I get a lot of people screw companies over and why they gave this policy, however, in some situations it's beyond our control and they need to show grace. I will no longer give them my business.

Then I had one bad experience where my highlights looked basically the same as when I walked in the door. The stylist did a "shadow root" but it did not blend at all and I suspect she forgot until last minute because she rushed through it. I was mostly upset due to the cost based on the results of my hair. I emailed the owner who responded right away even on a holiday... and i sent pics...but her suggestion was for me to schedule another appointment with her (the owner). she had no openings that worked for me due to the holidays and I really didn't have more money to spend on my hair so i had to live with it. I do recommend scheduling with an experienced stylist there, though - I am just a bit gun shy now and found a more affordable place.

They were fun to hang out with for sure. I'm pretty new to getting a pedicure so if I sound like a rookie, I am. It was awesome, they have these awesome chairs that massage you and soak your feet. Then they start sanding the callouses and it tickles and put on a tingly scrub. My feet and nails look good, I wish it wasn't February so I could wear sandals. But my feet are so smooth, it's almost creepy. They feel like my head after I shave, or a newborn baby's butt.
