I came in because my girlfriend said she'd treat me to a pedicure. First of all, I love Alison and Rachel, they did our pedicures. They're friendly and fun. They were fun to hang out with for sure. I'm pretty new to getting a pedicure so if I sound like a rookie, I am. It was awesome, they have these awesome chairs that massage you and soak your feet. Then they start sanding the callouses and it tickles and put on a tingly scrub. My feet and nails look good, I wish it wasn't February so I could wear sandals. But my feet are so smooth, it's almost creepy. They feel like my head after I shave, or a newborn baby's butt. I'm afraid I'm going to slip and fall like those old people in the Life-Alert commercials. read more

I received an e-mail from them an hour before my appointment telling me my appointment was cancelled. When I called to ask why, the girl on the phone told me I called in and cancelled it. I did not call They had me confused with another person. She cancelled the wrong appointment for the wrong person. They were very accusatory about it and insisted that I called in. They screwed up and aren't willing to accept responsibility. They need to fix the problem and not inconvenience me. I was given one other option for a replacement appointment at dinner time that that wouldn't work for me. Somehow my original appointment got filled within the time it took for me to inquire about it. ( less than an hour) ? I should have been given several options and it should have been free at that point. They have too much business apparently so they dont need mine. They obviously don't have a solid appointment process in place. I won't be back. Can't recommend a business that treats customers like this. read more

BEWARE!!! I am assuming that the One Salon and Spa in Brighton were the only people who recently went through and are currently going through this pandemic. I recently went back to One Salon and Spa once they reopened. They have recently added a " House necessities" on to lash and hair appointments. Once I received my bill via email I called and asked what this additional charge was? I was told it was for supplies and to help them pay their employees during the pandemic. First of all that is something you tell someone up front especially existing customers. Secondly I'm paying for my service and tipping so why should I be helping them pay for products and their employees? Is the rest of the world not experiencing the same problems during this pandemic? Some people still aren't able to go back to work or don't have a job at all due to this and we still come and spend money with you so why the extra mysterious charges? I honestly believe they should be thankful for the business they are receiving at this time instead of trying to find sneaky ways to charge you more. I actually loved this place but I will never go back after that. How trashy and tacky of you One Salon!!!!! read more

I had a terrible experience at this salon yesterday. I made an appointment online a week ago and I received a call confirming the appointment. The day of my appointment I called to confirm as its a long drive. Yes my appointment was confirmed. I get there and I'm waiting for about 20 minutes when a customer comes in and says she had an appointment with my stylist. At this point I knew I was in trouble. The stylist comes and takes her back and the receptionist comes over to break the bad news to me that the stylist was 'triple booked' and they are moving me to a different stylist that looked to me like she just graduated hair school. I said no I booked the appointment a week ago and they said they had been leaving me messages all week. But no they didn't call me I showed them my phone and I said I haven't had any calls what number did you call and they said "i don't know". Then the stylist comes over and says 'yeah i dont know how you booked an appointment online i'm booked solid for weeks' and i told her i received a confirmation phone call plus i confirmed the day of. She said she could fit me in Friday night and I declined as I am leaving for out of town and that is why I wanted my hair done. They really couldn't have cared any less. I booked a facial with Jena and what a treat for myself! I've never had a facial before so I was not sure what to expect but what a first class treatment it was all the way. Jena was beyond knowledge about all trouble spots on my skin and her application of products was dreamy. I've always struggled with acne and oily skin but Jena knew right away what to apply to help my troublesome spots I could tell a difference as soon as my facial was done! She even took extra time after my appointment to make sure she was able to empty and extract all of my pores to ensure a completely satisfactory experience. When I got home my boyfriend even told me my skin looked "glowy" and he barely notices any changes I do in my beauty routine! As a healthcare worker during the pandemic I was beyond pleased with the safety measurements and protocols Jena followed to ensure I was given the best quality facial while staying safe. I planned on doing a facial one time to see what all the talk about was but booked another appointment immediately upon cashing out! No one cares about your skin more than you do, unless it's Jena!
