My daughter and I scheduled our appointment with Alyssa because her bio said she had experience with blondes. Upon our arrival, we were introduced to Alyssa and her and I discussed expectations and I also signed an estimate of $230+ for a triple highlight, toner, and haircut. Guess I should've had her sign something for me too about expectations. The goal was to take my daughter from gold to platinum, which I was told she could not do, so we went with an overall highlightened blonde. After the consult, Alyssa did not speak to us the entire time except to say she was getting another bowl of Lightner, so the beginning of my daughter's first experience at an upscale was ruined. I could see the amount of time Alyssa left bleach on her hair was inconsequential. I immediately told the manager, Heather, who told me to be patient in the end. Well her hair turned out orange with highlights not exactly what I expected from an upscale salon.. After contacting the owner, she said, I could have a free consultation to decide how much more money I was going to spend on my daughter's hair . Now I wasn't expecting anything except options moving forward but none were given except a free consultation with the owner. No thank you, I'll be taking my money and business elsewhere.

I had to go into work and in my work setting I cannot have my phone and have no access to one. At lunch I went out to my car and called to cancel and was told I'd have to pay the cancelation fee of 25%. I explained the situation and the lady who answered the phone showed no sympathy or empathy and repeated it was policy. My appointment was to be at 9am Saturday. Found out about funeral at 8pm Thursday. Called Friday at 7am before walking into work and can't leave a message. Called around 11:30 when I took lunch. I even offered proof, which I shouldn't have to do. Now I get a lot of people screw companies over and why they gave this policy, however, in some situations it's beyond our control and they need to show grace. I will no longer give them my business.
