Looking for a place for that halal chicken, lamb, and rice craving. Nisars is the place. Great cart in the neighborhood that provides a decent chicken, lamb, over biryani rice. Flavorful, cooked fresh, and wonderful service. Nice big portion to meet ones craving. Ask to add some falafel to really make a great combo meal. Also go for the white, hot, bbq, and green sauce. Basically i usually order the works. It's a great meal and good halal cart.

Good food at a decent price. The vendor was very friendly and suggested the lamb and chicken combination. The white sauce was on point.

The best cart in queens

This is truly the best halal cart in queens. What I like about this cart the most is the owner keeps it clean and take good care of your food preparation. If their was a letter grade this cart it would an A+. Now lets get to the food, it always fresh and taste delicious. I love the white yogurt sauce. If your into hot sauce, they offer a hot spicy sauce that also taste incredible. My wife and I love the chicken dish which includes chicken rice and a salad all mixed in. I also enjoy the chicken pita with veggies. The owner is always super friendly and if you wish to order ahead, he has his cell phone listed on his cart. If you haven't tried this cart you need to, one thing I hate about the other carts is they have a ton of meat sitting on the grill for hours and some cart don't do a great job picking the bones out, but not this cart I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years.

My favorite halal cart. I get a chicken and lamb mix on rice once a week and it never disappoints.

I definitely enjoyed getting my Vietnamese meals from here, especially because it was one of the few places that was Halal. I loved their banh mi , but I especially loved their beef pho. I never physically went to the store, but I always did delivery; The pho would come to me fresh. I also liked their Vietnamese fried wings as well. I heard the owner is looking to find a new spot so if he's reading, I have a recommendation for them which is to come open in Jackson Heights as there is such a demand here for Halal Vietnamese cuisine!

The pho was decent and filling. The wings were average just seemed undercooked. Pro tip. If you want starters/apps, order them first. After you've finished, revisit the menu and order your main dish. Areas of improvement - don't bring out the main dish first and the appetizer next. It's senseless. There was a party of 11 that came in. The workers really catered to them and left the single diners to themselves but still expect a regulated tip. I had one napkin the entire time and no one ever came over to see if I needed anything. I came, I dined, I left. I won't be back. Also my pho was getting cold as I tried to navigate between the two. Inspire more, Yelp more!

When we arrived, they said they hadn't received the order, citing an issue with their system. They told us it would take about 15 minutes. Unfortunately it really took about 35 minutes for the food to be ready. The wait time was definitely underwhelming. However they made up for it by giving us a free slice of tiramisu cake. When we got home, we were both surprised by just how much gnocchi they give. We both ordered the Senza Vodka. Other than the red pepper flakes on top, the sauce was really flavorless. I did like the gnocchi itself. The side Caesar salad was also very bland. My wife really enjoyed the food, so they made it worth it. But I tnink she'll have to order from here on her own moving forward, .

Cacio e pepe with meatballs- rich, creamy, not salty as I feared based on some other reviews. Decent depth of flavor, ricotta was cool as the other elements were warm to hot, providing some temperature play. Meatballs were flavorful, but one of them seemed a bit overdone/dry. Senzu vodka with shrimp - spicy, salty, still creamy, obviously. Shrimp was a bit on the saltier side. A more straightforward flavor, I guess? Gnocchi itself - fell apart in the mouth, not very chewy like the mass-produced stuff. Haven't had much of it, but the last gnocchi I had was from Crown Shy so it feels pretty unfair to compare. I wasn't totally wowed by the texture. I'm not entirely sure what Gnocchi is supposed to taste like. Overall, it was decent. I'm not chomping at the bit to go back, but I'm not against it. It's just that in a crowded street of heavy-hitting spots to eat, I'm not sure how well this competes with them. I feel a little guilty giving this a 3. There's quite a bit to like. For one, despite looking small, the gnocchi is rich and heavy and I actually didn't feel the urge to finish all of it because of how sated I was. If you want to fill yourself on some gnocchi (you don't even need the protein, honestly) this is a great place to do so. The presentation is as good as it could be given its limitations of being in a plastic bowl. That said, my mom and brother really loved this, so we'll be heading back again.

I went during Ramadan with my partner to break my fast, and they were so accommodating. Tip: call them to make a quick reservation beforehand. Next, onto the food. We ordered the dumplings, lamb stew with naan, and their special noodles. Everything was absolutely mind blowing. The lamb was perfectly seasoned and fell right off the bone. The bread was soaked in flavor. The noodles are perfect for a cold night. The noodles are mixed in house and fresh, and you can definitely taste the difference in fresh noodles and store brought. Their service was impeccable. Our host was gracious and greeted us in Arabic as soon as we walked in. He took our order fairly quickly, and the food did not take that long to come out. Whenever he spoke, he had his hand over his heart and was so friendly. I cannot speak anything but praise about this place. It's amazing and I plan to go there soon again with my whole family. Everything was delicious and this restaurant could easily be one of the top 10 restaurants I've ever been to in my life.

Cafe Kashkar in Brighton Beach, Nargis Cafe in Sheepshead Bay, this is the dish that keeps on giving. Until eating here. I will just keep this one all to myself. Everything here is right, on top of right, on top of right, on top of right. Friendly, fast, and efficient service. A pretty ambiance that does not hit you over the head with a walking stick, and some of the best Lagman I have eaten this side of the East River. These folks know what they are doing. To come here and not order some naan is a huge insult, so I did that. Even that is done properly. The naan is light and full of flavor. It needs no oil or anything to spruce it up. Enjoy it for what it is. The Lagman hits all the right notes, checking every box that Lagman needs to have. Ample and flavorful meat? Check. Fresh hand pulled noodles that are also ample? Check. Crispy, sautéed vegetables? Check. About a quarter of the way through my meal, one of the owners came up to me and offered me chili oil to put in the dish. I obliged as I learned from Cafe Kashkar the importance of adding flavor to this dish. It really does elevate everything on the plate and brings all those flavors that are already on the plate, forward. Everything is rather affordable as well. Before the New York Times finds out about this little hole in the wall and blows this restaurant's cover, I will close this review by simply stating this restaurant is a winner, without all the aforementioned accolades.
