I came to see her a few days after Memorial Day, after a particularly stressful and distressing week. I also had stiffness and pain from sitting/sleeping in bad positions. Thus, I chose the 90 Minutes Massage. I'm SO glad I did. First, I appreciate the organized and succinct website. ALL important information is there, including Name, Phone, Address, Experience, Types of Massages, Pricing, and Acceptable Forms of Payment. I don't like digging around for that information, and it made booking my appoint easier. Second, Kim is a sole proprietor (as a previous reviewer mentions). I prefer small boutique spas and massages from independent masseuses. I always felt rushed the few times I attended a chain massage spa, but Kim gives you the FULL time for your massage. The room is very clean, with fresh linens, and no clutter. Kim is very warm and friendly. She obviously enjoys what she does, helping people feel better. She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Third, the massage room has wonderful ambience. I love purple, so I was thrilled to see purple lights, and purple touches everywhere. The music is also very relaxing, not too loud or too soft. I think Kim is also blessed with a soothing voice, so that helps the overall mood, too. :-) And last, the 90 Minute Massage is one of the best I've had in a long time. What I like about Kim, is that she customizes her massage using various techniques. I felt her switch techniques when she came across a particularly large knot. Most importantly, she listens to you, if you need her to go deeper or harder, or stop if you feel any pain. I woke up with a little soreness, but no pain at all. The 90 Minute Massage includes Stretching. As someone who has done physical therapy for my knee, the Stretching really helped loosen tightness all over, especially my Achilles heels, hips, and IT band. I also want to mention that I have very sensitive skin, and I did not have any adverse reaction to the massage oil used. I almost cried in relief, when my massage was over. While it takes more than one session to get rid of all the knots, I feel normal again. I can't thank Kim enough. I highly recommend the 90 Minutes Massage for the Stretching alone.

Yeah okay. Whatever. A little bit of a big guy, not fat,, but spending 8 hours a night driving around in a compact car with bucket sport seats,,yeah I tend to get muscle cramps after some time. So by the end of the week,,, I need a very good massage to ease the tension. I have been to several places in my time. Every time when it has been a situation of pay up front, and/or a sign in the room about total nudity not allowed or no sexual activity allowed, or 'certain body parts' not being allowed,,, it has always been a situation to where the place did not have a license, the so called therapist didn't have a license, and sexual activity was always offered for an additional expense. I was tired, and stressed,,, and just wanted a relaxing stress reliving massaage. Someone who would push down and work work out the tension in my muscles. A foot massage spa? Okay I would think that they would spend some time if not focus on the muscles in the calfs and foot. But she barely touched those areas. Other places I have gone to for an hour massage,, the massuese spends 30-40 minutes working on me from my shoulder blades and neck down to my feet and then asks me to turn over. And when doing so,, always holds a sheet of some sort to drape and offer some sort of privacy and modesty for when doing so. There was no draping involved at all when she asked me turn over. I am not bashful, I'm a little unique,, I approach getting a massage as to like going to a doctor. And that being undress to the extent that is necessary to provide the most optimal care. So I don't care as to what is seen. For you women who have been hear,,, and left raving reviews,,, I can only say that the so called massage therapist didn't find any kind of attraction towards women. This place is very much a house of prostitution and sexual services for pay. She didn't offer to have sex with me,, and sure wouldn't do it if offered. But when she grabbed my genitals and asked me how I would pay for her to massage that,,, pretty clear as to what she was doing. And pretty clear for the purpose of the business. One other thing......... I parked my car and walked into the door at 4:22. I was lead into the room to undress and lay down, she didn't come back into the room till 4:30 and left several times,,, to get hot wet towels to remove oil and dry towels to dry me off,, but the time spent was excessive and numerous,,, and then asked me if she would end early because of having another customer at 5:10. So I question her about why I pay for hour massage and get only 35 minutes at the most. She argues she wrote it down that I quote,,, "I wrote it down you came in at 4:22." Yeah I came in at 4:22,,, into the front door. I wasn't even in the room at that time. And for her to leave to allow me to undress and then return,, which didn't happen till 4:32 as I looked at the clock? I don't care what is done,, I pay for 60 minutes and you only provide 40 minutes? That's stealing money from me. You screwing with my money. And people who didn't know me that great 45 years ago,, knew you didn't do that with me. Kira did a great whole body massage with focus on these areas in particular. The back walking and massage were moderate to deep per my request and were fantastic. I also requested stretching and the stretching was both pretty intense and very therapeutic--I felt great afterwards. I have had numerous Thai massages at several different places and they all blow Swedish massage and places like Massage Envy out of the water. This was probably the most stretching I've ever had and Kira really worked hard on the areas I requested. Both she and the receptionist were very nice, they requested pertinent medical history before the massage, the facility was very clean and the environment was relaxing. The only negative is that there is a 3% fee for using a credit card but that's pretty minor. I could tell Kira is experienced because she was very confident and efficient and frequently asked how I was doing with the pressure and stretching. I've had Thai massages in LA, near Thai Town so knew what to expect. The Thai lady (don't recall name), was very professional and focused on the issues that I asked. This is a fairly new business (previous Thai Massage at same location, but different owner). I recommend if you are looking to get some of the kinks worked out by professional MT in a relaxing environment. I admit I was a little sore the next day from being stretched, but that didn't last long. I will definitely return.
