Food was okay, restaurant ambiance is nice, my problem was when I requested a kids menu as I have a gastric sleeve and showed my medical card and they didn't want to respect it, my capacity is of 4oz and they still had me pay $36.99

Great variety and good price for Kbbq and Hotpot!! They are kind and attentive without being overbearing. We ordered and by the time we finished making our sauces, the food was out so it was super quick! Highly recommend the quail eggs and thin sliced beef for hot pot, steak in house sauce and sliced duck for Kbbq!

The service was great, we were seated immediately even on a Saturday. The meat selection was good and included chicken, beef, pork, and veggie options. The portions were perfect and prevent food waste since it is ayce. The ambiance was casual but it was evening dining lighting. Everyone was dressed in jeans but it could be a cute date spot.

We ate here with a party of 6 at the hot pot table. Our experience was better than expected. We had never had Korean Hot Pot before and it did not disappoint! The choices were diverse with a great assortment of seafood, meat, and vegetables. The broth was delicious. This is a great interactive experience especially for a family or larger group but there are also tables for smaller parties. I would recommend it. You will not leave hungry.

The food and service are pretty standard. The tomato soup gives me a bit of ketchup vibe so I might want to try a different base next time. It's all you can eat and the price is similar across all the other ACE hot pot places.

Great place! Came here for a celebration. Staff and everyone was very friendly. I love the bbq and hotpot option

It was ok for me it definitely could be better. I feel like the meat choices were not enough. We did the kbbq. I have been to a few kbbq before so this was nothing new to me. The sauces area was small as well. They didnt have much choices for appetizers like kpot. They only have scallion pancake. They gave out peanuts and watermelon at the end. It was clean inside. The bathroom had pretty looking sinks but not much going besides that. The staff were also great.

Really good all you can eat kbbq + hot pot. We had a large group and they put us in a private room. The food was plenty and service was great. But the best food I've ever had but good bang for your buck

It was good! I ate here free on my birthday. It is one of the few places that lets you eat free on your birthday as long as you have another guest. Other places require you to have 5+ guest or more to eat free. It is decent, it is one of the few bbq places in the area. We had a party of 5 and service was pretty quick. Sauce bar could be a little better. They change your grill frequently!

Standard Korean bbq, not exceptionally mind blowing. Their portions are a bit smaller which I like and I'm sure saves them from food waste. It's all you can eat so just order more if needed or ask for 2 servings at a time. There's a fully equipped sauce bar to the side of the restaurant. They give you four complimentary side dishes: kimchi, seaweed salad, peanuts and an unknown 4th ( I didn't try it). A bit subaverage but it's just sides so no big deal. They were pretty busy but we were able to flag down staff pretty easily when we wanted to order more. Interior was nice and bathroom was clean.

Pretty good hot pot place, worth the money if you bring your appetite. Two-hour limit. My biggest issue was that we were seated outside a private room of a group of loud college students. After they left, it was better. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, checking in frequently enough for us to continue to order more food. They were efficient, taking orders and bring food quickly. They also filled the soup base as necessary. In the bathroom, they ask you not to flush paper down the toilet. The wifi password is the phone number of the restaurant (written on the paper on the wall next to your table). - Pig bone soup, spicy soup, thin sliced beef, thin sliced lamb, fuzhou fish ball (has filling), cabbage, bok choy - Mushroom, oyster mushroom, crabmeat stick, thin sliced pork - Pumpkin, corn, spinach, fish fillet - Fish dumpling, fried tofu

I took the family out to try Korean BBQ. This is an all you can eat restaurant with plenty, plenty, of options from beef and vegetables to seafood. You can add onto the base price for an extra five dollars to get a Hot Pot Soup which adds plenty of new options to eat and to try. The restaurant is very nice and sleek. The tables were clean, the cooking area clean and the restrooms were clean. You scan the menu on your phone, the wait staff comes and you order what you'd like. The food is brought raw and then you cook it on the table's built in BBQ (there are separate burners for the Hot Pot). There is only one grilling station which makes it awkward for tables larger then two people. Some of the staff were extremely friendly. Other staff were courteous but rushed with less patience. The food is brought on large platters. It was very difficult to figure out which meat was what as many of the proteins look the same. When I asked one waiter, he explained it, but not thorough enough and too rushed for me to remember what he said. They changed the BBQ grill several times to remove the burnt food debris. It's unlimited so you can order away. Now, the meat itself is not Grade-A meat. It can't be for that price. It's a bit fatty, which you need for the grill. It's good though. The salt and fat in the meat coupled with the BBQ grill makes the food taste pretty good. Your fingers will swell later from the salty meat. On the table are some trimmings and there is a whole station of lots of sauces and seasonings to cook with. The meal ends with juicy oranges brought to the table. Now folks, this is not a place to come if you want fine dining Korean BBQ. This is NOT a premium steak house in any way. This is a place that's a fun experience where you can try a lot of different meats and seafood. What I love about it was that the food takes a bit of time to cook which allows you to hang out with your company and not feel rushed at all. This whole local area has dozens of restaurants to choose from. If I'm back in the area I might try another place as there are a lot of inviting places. But, I would not have a tantrum if my family wanted to come back. I enjoyed my experience very much.

Is the beef kalbi marinade gluten free?

As far as I know, meat is naturally gluten free. They have a variety of meats, they are not marinated, so the answer would be YES.

What's the best things to order off the kbbq menu and the hot pot menu? Which broth is the best?

    Pig bone

I have a 4 yr old. Would he have to pay full price even though he won't eat much?

I can't recall seeing an age on the price. Usually hot pot or Korean bbq places have a 'child' price. I would ask. Sometimes children under 3 eat for free. If that's the case "he's three". Haha

Is the AYCE BBQ+Hot Pot is only for one person or can you just order few and share it with the group? Because me and my friends are planning to go this weekend and there are 7 of us. I feel like order 7 would be too much and very pricey too

I went as a group of 4 and they specifically ask which option each person is getting! However, they do come around and patrol to make sure people aren't eating bbq who didn't order bbq.

So if we get hot pot and BBQ , from what I know we can choose whatever we want and as many. But if we want to do like more of a certain item, do they add that to the receipt as a double order?

I was surprised how much my picky eater family enjoyed the food here! The service is very laid back, but that's ok, the food made up for everything else. The only negative was the bonchon at the start of the meal. I like when they offer more freshness like pickled radish and what not, this was on the heavier side with fried potatoes and something called "fish cake" that I would not recommend. The beef stir fry was a perfect meal, as far as I am concerned, containing my fave veggies (onions, mushrooms, carrots, cabbage). The flavor was spot on! My husband really enjoyed the bulgogi bibimbap; while I liked it too it wasn't one of my favorites and the rice wasn't crispy when we were served, like it usually is. When you are done you pay at the counter. Really "local" vibes and I highly recommend for the food!

Portion size was surprisingly big in a good way. Bulgogi Bimbibap was good but the bulgogi was a bit too saucy/wet for me. It made the rice by that area wet. Would likely not get this again unless it changes. After ordering, the staff brought some complimentary banchan. The potatoes were my favorite! I would come back for the chicken and to try some other things on the menu.

Everything was delicious, from the apps to the dishes, and definitely very healthy portions! Service was pretty good as well, with attentive staff despite there not being a whole lot of them. The food is Korean-inspired with some fusion elements, and all of it was nicely executed. Fried chicken bites were a pretty big hit, and the pork buns were good as well - crispier than usual, but still really good. Toppoki was nice too, and have to say that calling it rice gnocchi is pretty smart to make it easier to understand outside the Asian POV. Kimchi paella was essentially kimchi fried rice, but tasty and filling, and the scrape off parts at the bottom, that's rice gold right there. I don't always eat rice, but when I do, I prefer slightly burnt at the bottom of a stone pot. Second visit, I went with fire chicken, which is tasty and has some kick. I did notice that my not Asian colleague was asked if he was sure about the three fire symbols, but I was not :P Space is pretty nice inside too, a nice combination of old and new; the bathroom was nice and clean, and the general feel inside is casual but elegant. I wouldn't be opposed to returning, but would need to know much more about allergy protocols and awareness, which admittedly isn't always a strong point in Asian cuisine.

We're never great at eating our money's worth, so the pay-as-you-go setup felt like a better fit. We got the favorite set for two, which ended up being plenty. The biggest highlight right away: they grill everything for you. KBBQ is just better when you can sit back and eat instead of managing the grill yourself. They also use a back grill to keep things moving, so there's barely any pause between rounds of meat. It felt really efficient. Also, the place is surprisingly clean and doesn't have that heavy "you're going to smell like smoke for the next 5 hours" vibe, which I really appreciated. Somehow they keep it all under control even with constant grilling. Service-wise, the staff were attentive and clearly working hard, especially since it seemed a bit understaffed. That said, my friend did feel a little uncomfortable at times. There were a few moments where it felt like we were being watched closely, almost like they were worried about a dine-and-dash situation, and we were asked multiple times if we had paid. I personally read it more as things being slightly disorganized with a small team juggling cooking, serving, and payments, but I can see how it might come across differently depending on how you interpret it. Food-wise, the meat was very good, but the banchan really stood out to me. The cabbage salad with a gingery soy dressing was super refreshing and cut through the richness of the meat perfectly. Free refills on banchan are always a win too. I also liked that the grill came with corn cheese, egg, and sprouts, nice extras you don't always get. The corn cheese wasn't as sweet as I expected, and the egg was a bit on the salty side, but still enjoyable. The tilted grill setup was another plus since it lets the grease drain away, so the meal didn't feel overly heavy like some AYCE spots. Overall, it was a really fun experience. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and how easy the whole meal felt. Just something to be aware of with the service dynamic depending on how sensitive you are to that kind of thing.

We got the bulgogi hotpot, chicken feet, and seafood pancake. The bulgogi hotpot was packed with tender, marinated beef, fresh vegetables, and a rich, savory broth that came together perfectly. The chicken feet were well seasoned and gelatinous, very authentic in texture, and the seafood pancake was crispy on the outside with a soft, savory interior full of fresh seafood. The place feels authentic and they refill your banchan, which is always appreciated. The flavors are slightly less fermented and a bit more geared toward American palates, but still tasty. Since the hotpot is meant for two or more people, it's large and feels like both a meal and a bit of a show. The owner personally helped cut the meat and prepare the hotpot at the table, which was very hands-on and excellent service. It's located on the second floor, so it can be a bit tricky to find, but don't just walk past it. There are multiple TV screens around the restaurant showing both Korean and American channels, which adds a fun vibe. Everything is very reasonably priced, and I can't wait to come back. One note: we think we may have seen someone try to dine and dash. The staff weren't distracted and it didn't affect the service, but it's a reminder to always pay for your food and tip well. The place is clearly privately owned and not a chain, so it's important to respect that. Despite that, service was fantastic, and the food more than makes up for any small hiccups.

While it is very nicely decorated, when we first walked in it felt a bit quiet and not as lively or vibrant as some of the other Korean spots nearby. Service - The staff is friendly and the service is sufficient. What We Ordered - Mung Bean Pancake - which was pretty good Galbi BBQ Beef Ribs - which were not as good as some competitors in the area, for example the beef ribs from Dubu have much better flavor Seafood Tofu Stew - which was very good Final Thoughts - In terms of food, my favorite dish by far was the tofu stew, which I was told is what they are known for. Everything else ranged from okay to good. I would come back to try other items, but personally I feel there are stronger options in the same area.

We just walked in on a Saturday night, without a reservation, and did get a table, but it filled up shortly after. I loved the bonchon they served after we sat down. I love kim chi and all things fermented; so it was a nice way to start our meal! I ordered the kimchi fried rice with shrimp, which was good, but I probably wouldn't order again. The flavor was one note, I wish it had more veggies in it and I'm not sure why it is served on a bed of melted cheese. My husband got to hot Bibimbop bowl (the hot one), and he paid extra for bulgogi beef. This was a very flavorful dish that I highly recommend!! I also had a couple of the pomegranate soju drinks which I enjoyed; similar in taste to a vodka cranberry.

The seasoning, Banchan options, and soju were just what the doctor ordered! The staff is Korean and even though we communicated through limited English, they were so friendly and excited for us to enjoy the food! Definitely recommend! We stood at the "please wait to be seated" sign for over 10-15 minutes without being acknowledged. We tried to be patient since we saw the hostess juggling multiple tasks at once. Multiple couples arrived after us and were seated first. Emphasis on they were in line AFTER us. When a waiter finally showed up, he started seating people that were last/behind us without asking for names for reservations. Who starts from the back??? Even after telling that waiter we had a reservation and were there first, he looked at us like he felt guilty. Very poor organization and guest management. Disappointing from the moment we walked in. I was excited to try the food at this place but will never show up again after what was experienced.

It just is not on the printed menu. Very cool, but also slightly chaotic. If you speak Korean, there is basically an unlocked menu situation. Same with tteokbokki. Not listed, but available. Love that for the insiders. The only downside is you do not really know all the prices ahead of time, and things ended up being a little higher than expected. It is right next to H Mart though, so prime real estate. The yukhoe came out still a tiny bit frozen in the center, but the seasoning was great. Nicely balanced sesame oil, garlic, a little sweetness. They mix it for you at the table which is a nice touch. We were mid mixing and they tried to take our picture which caught us off guard, but honestly it is a fair trade for how attentive and kind they were. Seafood tofu pot was a bit underwhelming protein wise. One shrimp and maybe two squid rings. Not exactly seafood heavy. That said, the broth itself had good depth and the tofu was silky and comforting. Service was warm and attentive the whole time. The space is super picturesque. Small booths with grills built into the tables, wooden frames, very traditional KBBQ vibes. Cozy and cute without feeling cramped. Overall, good experience. Just a little pricey and I wish everything was clearly listed on the menu. But vibes and service are definitely there.
