Chicken Katsu Curry and vegetable croquettes

Super cozy inside, walls are covered in anime and studio ghibli decor, food was super hot and fresh! The service was also quick and friendly!

Beautiful atmosphere!

Absolute nicest cashier ever. She was so sweet! I was waiting for takeout and she said it would be 15 minutes, then proceeded to get me some ice cold lemon water. Also, the atmosphere is amazing! Especially for a fan of anime. I had the tonkotsu ramen with the angus beef, and it tasted like Japan! Beautiful Ramen too! Definitely my favorite ramen spot in Philly as some random guy

This recently opened ramen spot is a nice addition to South Street shopping area. There are about 20 seats. My husband and I picked this comfortable faux leather chairs. I The other chairs are metal and wooden. One side of the wall is exposed bricks with some plants and the other side is covered with pictures of Japanese cartoons. There's only one lady serving the customers. She's very nice and courteous. The menu is laminated with plastic where you mark your order with a marker. What I like about this place is that you can select the saltiness of the broth, add more toppings, and the type of noodle. There are good varieties of ramen on the menu such as black garlic, salmon, tonkotsu, spicy tonkotsu. Takoyaki: it's decent with good amount of bonito flakes. I wish were more octopus inside. Spicy tonkotsu: in my opinion it is too spicy that obscures the taste of the bone broth.

Neighborhood ramen is gone and this new delicious ramen has replaced it on the ramen rotation. $$, I think the bowl addition with the ramen is worth $4. I haven't had the skewers yet but it's in the name and on the list.

The place is cute with anime (DragonBall, Slam Dunk) and other food manga decoration and plants. Tidy, cozy and perfect for a Queen Village neighborhood spot. So glad we found this ramen spot! The food, the prices, the vibes was definitely on point. Don't expect something straight out of Tokyo but this place did a great job of curating the ramen broth (miso, shoyu, etc) types in its own ways (a bit Korean and few a bit Taiwanese). Like the various toppings available only at an Asian joint (bamboo shoots). Additionally, it was one of the few ramen places in the US that I have been to that does the less salty broth without taking away from depth of broth well. The takoyaki and the scallion pancakes were spot on. Moreover, I like that they have curry platters (totally Japanese or Korean style like the dontaksu curry than Indian or Thai) and teriyaki platters. Makes for a great meal. We went for Friday lunch, and there was an Asian mom and 2 daughters also having a meal there as well. The seating area doesn't seem too big (I don't know if they have more seating below or next door). However, there were flurry of people coming for pick up/take out. I think there might have been at least 10 pick-up orders while we were there. I can see why, since why not get a teriyaki or curry platter or hearty ramen for the price (or less) of a combo meal at Chick Fil A, Subway, or Chipotle. If I live in Philly, definitely would have made it into my weekly or biweekly rotation for a meal! There was one lady who took care of our orders, bussing, refilling water, etc. with great efficiency wearing pink nitrile gloves. Adorable and points for hygiene. *I forgot to take the photos of the ramen. Just went for it and realized after the meal.

Cool newer ramen spot with tasty menu. You get a laminated menu and use a marker to make your choice to order. Decent broth, and the noodles and ingredients were good. The interior decor is very cozy and inviting to come in and enjoy some nice hot ramen on a cold night. Want to try a few of their other things. Thanks

New ish ramen spot by queen's village. Service was very quick and attentive. We ordered two ramen bowls and a few apps. Loved the waffle fries and the popcorn chicken. Ramen bowls were great but feel like the broth could have been more flavorful/rich. Restaurants was very cute and anime themed

We love tacos and we love ramen, and were surprised that we had never heard of this spot with…read moreexcellent reviews and lots of vegetarian options until recently. Came on a Sunday evening and about half the small restaurant was filled - the space is super cute, with an inviting dark blue color scheme and cute posters and photos of inspirational quotes and dogs. We ordered the Tofu and Eggplant taco and Mushroom and Zucchini taco to start - both were delicious. The mushroom and zucchini one actually had slightly more flavor, but the sauces on both were really tasty with good contrast in flavor, and the veggies were fried just right. For mains I got the Vegan Miso ramen with egg noodles and my husbans got the Vegan Spicy Kimchi ramen with egg noodles. I LOVED my ramen - the broth was deeply savory, the corn added nice pops of sweetness, and I really enjoyed the soy patty - it was chewy and had a great bite. My husband also enjoyed his ramen and said it was one of the best in the city - the kimchi flavor was very different than any ramen I've tried before. Service is good and overall I will definitely come back to Taco & Ramen and maybe try a new item. Yum!

That alone makes it a very cozy spot when getting some ramen to warm up on a cold day. They have a variety of taco and ramen choices, as well as boba tea and other beverages. Tried the tonkatsu ramen: tasty broth, fair amount of noodles, and the pork, egg, and other veg was good. Shrimp tempura taco was tasty and had a nice creamy aioli sauce drizzled on. Both taco and ramen are pretty good, and the atmosphere makes it great. Thanks

literally best vegetarian / vegan sushi in the city…read more okay to start, if your friend/date/family member is vegetarian or vegan, take them here. you both will have options. inside is cozy. service is really thorough and like a well oiled machine. for the vegetarians: The lime sinko roll is a classic avocado cucumber roll with a pickled vegetable layer on top and a thin slice of lime. the roll itself is great, simple, and a classic. my sister really likes the pickled vegetable and lime on top. I however, just peel it off. it's good but I prefer without it. the veggie on fire is what you need: probably their best roll on the menu. it's a cucumber avocado roll with a spicy zucchini sauce on top and crispy fried onions. it's messy. it's spicy. it's delicious. the sauce is orange in color, has tiny slivers of zucchini in it. I was hesitant to try it at first, but it's my favorite roll now. the vegan tuna roll: it's marinated tomato in place of tuna. i've never had fish or tuna, but it definitely tastes a lot more fishy. I guess that's the marinade. texture is kinda slimy? mushy? I feel like this might be the roll for someone who liked the taste of fish but went vegan and wants a replica. Not for me, but well made nonetheless. Appetizers The veggie gyoza: the gyoza itself is green, doesn't taste different to a non green dough, but visually that might matter to some people. sauce they serve on the side is very good. comes with a lot, at least 6 I think. tastes good. I don't recall any mushrooms in it and if there is they are not noticeable as i'm not the biggest fan of mushrooms. The Spring rolls: new to the menu, no meat, interesting? they are more soft inside than expected. not a lot of veggies. tiny. cute little app to share and try. they come with two. no mushrooms. I typically prefer a more veggie heavy and crispy spring roll but i'd order them again! Samosa: currently off the menu I think, but in case they add it back, this was very good. i'd order this over the spring rolls. they were crispier and I think it came with three. Miso Soup: it's a fine little bowl of miso. I typically always order miso at every Japanese restaurant to start my meal. i'm not picky about miso, but I will say, it's not my favorite miso. I still order it every time, just not the absolute best i've had. It has small little tofu chunks and some green leafs which I find are in most misos but I have no idea what they are. small little bowl. perfect to order first. edamame: very good I always order in the beginning and I have a bad habit of also ordering another for dessert. the veggie bun: I don't like mushrooms, but if you do you will love this. my sister loves it. it's not often there is a vegetarian option for a bun, so i'd get it. the sauce on it is very good. comes with two. Karaage: This is chicken, but my dad gets it and it looks very good and crispy. if I ate meat i'd order this. avocado salad: okay so the ginger dressing is a little different than typical ginger dressing which I like. it's unique and very good. the amount of avocado is amazing! it has to be a whole avocado. always fresh. the green leafs are a little big, so this can get messy fast if you're on a date and trying to be demure. this is a must order for three people in my family. every time we go it's three orders clock work. I tried sharing with my sister and we determined we cannot share this. honestly bigger than I expected and more filling than I expected. has some cut up tomato's and cucumbers inside as well. mochi: must get. one order is one mochi cut in half. so two people could share one mochi order. i'm team chocolate, but I heard strawberry is good. I think I tried all of their flavors but honestly can't remember them. I'll update as I try more of the vegetarian/vegan rolls

From my seat I could see sushi being prepared and the daily workings and prep. The seating is deceiving as there are 2 seperate sections of the restaurant. The spring rolls were good but the crispy salmon skin roll was out of this world. I will come back just for that! Service was a bit slow even sitting at the bar and my water glass was never refilled even when asked but I'll chalk it up to a busy Friday. Will definitely be back!
