I've been coming to this liquor store for years now--it's in the same shopping center as my job, and after 7 years, it's definitely become my go-to spot. They have everything I could possibly need whether it's protein shakes, energy drinks, snacks, beer, ice cream, lotto tickets, or other miscellaneous items. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE NINE LIQUOR #2 LOCATION ON CHAPMAN AND RAYMOND They don't have a Yelp page, it still shows up under the previous owner and is marked closed. But I know both nine locations have the same owner. I visited this location and bought my usual, a Lotta Colada Buzzball. When I opened it (as soon as I walked out, I was not driving) I noticed the liquid was clear and not the milky white color it should be. The taste was AWFUL! I walked back in and told the cashier that it was a bad batch. He instantly became very defensive and rude, accusing me of endangering HIM with my open container and that I couldn't possibly have a bad buzzball because they don't go bad. NEWSFLASH- BAD BATCHES DO EXIST. Then he told me that they do not do returns or exchanges anyway and to leave the store. Okay, that's fine. But I'll never be back to either location. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years and this owner needs to provide some CS training for staff because clearly, it's lacking at both locations. If I could give 0 stars I would! I been looking for a purple buzz ball everywhere so my bf and I went here and my bf paid, we both showed ID mind you. He refused to sell to me cause I put in my bfs PIN number for his card... and called the police. Crazy!! Never again I use to come here all the time will not be back. read more

Can't believe this place is still in business. I went here about 15 years ago when IGZ Internet Cafe was next door. The owner yelled at me for taking too long to get coins out of my wallet while I was buying a bar of chocolate. He's the rudest piece of s ever. I hope this place goes out of business. read more

Dude here is hard up about parking space. We ran into the Sudz next door wasn't even there for 5 mins, this dude comes out and tried to get all Buck on us. We even offered to buy from his store and he said "it didn't matter" if customers don't matter to this dude, then he's just straight up Garbage. read more

I just bought a bottle of wine there and the guy at the counter despite me clearly saying no leaned across the counter and pulled me into a hug with a lot of force as I grabbed my purchase. Best beer selection in town. It's a liquor store, not a discount shop. I go to the liquor store for conveience, not price. In and out quickly. Never had a problem with the help. They have a well stocked store and it's clean. What more do you want from a liquor store? read more

A month in a half ago I got off work and decided to stop and purchase a small beverage. I believe the long term employee was trying to joke around when he was speaking to me. I was completely offended. The next day when I returned to the store I spoke to the employee and mentioned to him how I didn't appreciate the way he spoke to me. He apologized, I accepted his apology. I spoke to the owner about the incident and all he said was are you sure ? He's been employed here for 10 years. I can't believe after all the years that I lived in this area I never had a problem. While visiting after a month in a half I've had the worst experience ever by Cal State Fullerton. I'm happy to announce an extended family member just graduated not to long ago and the enjoyed their party. read more

came here on a whim with a friend because we were making our friend a birthday gift basket! we collected some goodies from target and walked over to nine liquor to see if they had certain flavors of ciroc and a few other liquors to complete our gift basket. walked in and they have a medium sized selection all squeezed in compacting into this place. this place has AFFORDABLE alcohol at very reasonable prices and even cheaper than ralphs and other large chain stores. this place also has some items that have sale stickers. they cover wines, beers, liquors, and a lot of things i wouldn't expect here. highly recommend if you're in the area looking for some affordable liquor. this isn't close to my house so i don't come here often but when in fullerton id stop by here! read more

As far as local stores of the Liquer variety go, this place is cool. It's a family owned establishment full of colorful employees. They have a huge variety of booze (party people, I'm looking at you!!) munchies of all sorts and papers(YOU know what kind! Party people, I'm looking at you again! ;) ) Hell, they even sell T-shirts and hats for those who need a quick costume change(Party people, well, you know, just in case)! Scammers. they charge $1 if you use credit and don't even tell you. I had to point out that it is abusive to charge customers for using credit without telling them. Upon doing so the Elvis lookalike started calling me names. Very rude worker or owner. I do not recommend giving business to this scum of the earth. I will never go there again. These past reviews are lame at best... racist, MY ASS - if you spend less than $10 here, yes they charge a fee to run your credit card, as they should it's not free... I spend close to $15 per day here between rockstar drinks, beer, smoke and booze... they are cheaper than many, thing is if I ask for something, they will get it for me - I dont buy much top dollar but Chris and Chris Sr both will either tell me where it is or order it... I'm currently drinking a Terreux from the Bruery - a local place - Chris knew I wanted it and told me it was here- I paid maybe $1 more than if I bought it from the Bruery, but having it at nine was so much better, screw the other reviews - Nine Liquor rocks! read more

They carry everything you can think of, and if they don't have it, they will order it for you and it will usually be there by the end of the week! As I entered the liquor store. I was greeted with customer service beyond my expectations. I had several questions on many products and was informed and spoken with explicit information of it. I would come back to this place if i ever needed assistance on items. Prices here are much cheaper than other places and is suitable for my budget.
