This review is long overdue! Connor went above and beyond helping my then-fiancée (now wife!) and me when we were shopping for the alcohol for our wedding. We shared our budget and cocktail menu, and he gave us fantastic recommendations that fit exactly what we were looking for. The drinks were a huge hit with our guests, and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Connor's knowledge, professionalism, and friendly service made the whole process stress-free. The entire staff at Total Wine is always helpful and welcoming, which is why it's become our go-to spot whenever we need beer, wine, or liquor. Thanks again, Connor, for helping make our wedding such a success! read more

Always great finds to be found here. This library of liquors. Found a few small shot bottles to mix in soda. They also have a lot of the whistle pig rarer bottles. Inside display case sits the coveted collection. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Store is well lit, clean and organized. Usually staff members are roaming around helping customers or climbing up ladders to organize store inventory. Readily available to help with any questions or concerns. Great shopping experience. read more

Came here with my friends about 10 of us. We booked a reservation a few weeks in advance for the 2 hour class. We did the wine class California uncorked. We brought our own food , charcuterie board to go with the 8 wine tastings. Connor was just fantastic! Knowledgeable and just a great personality. We really enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot about wine. I recommend booking with friends and having a wine experience. read more

My go to place whenever I crave German Beer and their selection doesn't disappoint. On top the rewards program offers free magazine, free gift bags and $5 off once you reach a certain number of points. Cheers read more

I'd checked on their website beforehand to see if they had Jinro Lemon Soju in stock. It's a great system, it even tells you the location of it in the store. We found what we needed pretty quick and checked out. The cashier was nice, but they did check both my and my fiancé's ID which I find to be a bit unnecessary. I feel like as long as one of us is 21 they should be able to sell it. I'm sure it's a company policy and the employee was just doing her job but I hope that policy will change. Nonetheless, I had a good experience overall and would definitely come back for some more lemon soju. read more

Had a couple of friends over and decided to make an impromptu trip to total wine. I've been to this location a few times, but it had been a long while. This store is pretty well stocked and has a large selection of different types of alcohol. The staff was friendly and helpful when I was searching for a specific product. read more

My partner and I wanted to make a pomegranate cocktail with pomegranates we had from his tree. Stewart was absolutely amazing in helping us find what we were looking for. He recommended Cimarron Reposado Tequila, Dos Manos Agave nectar, and as an alternative to the discontinued La Pinta, Pama Liqueur. The cocktail was fantastic based on his selections! Visit Stewart next time at the Brea location! He was outstanding and knew his stuff! Cheers! read more

Total Wine & More is the place to find all sorts of alcoholic beverages at different price ranges. This is our go-to place when all other stores don't have our choice of wine. Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable about wines and brands. You'll find this place at the intersection of Imperial Highway and the 57 freeway. Big shopping center, big parking lot, plenty of spaces. They sell more than just wine... Beers, champagne, spirits, seltzers, accessories, and cigars as well. They also have a sampling calendar on their website. read more

They sell tall boys individually and are carrying newer products, which is great. I really want to try the Korean beers, but who knows if it tastes any good. And I also wish they had an actual Dutch brand other than Heineken, because that shelf is mostly Belgian. I wish they carried Lavish or Hertog Jan, as those are currently on my list to try. read more

I love shopping here because they have so many options of everything! Their staff is super friendly and always open to help you with recommendations based on what you are looking for and within the price range. They have a few unique things I enjoy. They have the wine tasting which legally you have to pay (any amount) and try the featured wines/beers of that day. They have a display of what they have and easily accessible bottles. They also offer their tasting classes that fill up really quick. One thing I had never noticed before is the free chilling service. I was looking for a wine and they didn't have any chilled. My brother mentioned the cooler and it was PERFECT! This now opens my possibilities as I can chill anything! It was even tempting to have some of the wine tasting while I waited. read more

My first experience with Total Wine & More was excellent. I was in the search for several cases of mini Prosecco bottles for a wedding shower and looked everywhere. Although we found a couple of options from companies who could provide such a large order, Total Wine & More had the best price. In addition, the website was easy to use. After ordering online, I responded to the store the following day, and the order was ready. It was a super easy process. Regarding the service, which included a couple of phone calls and the in-store experience, it was 5 Stars. While in the store, I also liked the setup, and the selection seemed much bigger than one of their major competitors. I'm looking forward to returning to Total Wine & More! read more

Love this store. This might be my 2nd time shopping at this location, I normally order online and pick them up. Today, I decided to walk in since I was looking for Aperol, opened a bottle of Prosecco so why not make Aperol spritz. I found everything I wanted except for my favorite red wine. I kept looking and they are well organized, alphabetically. Finally found what I was looking for but only 1 bottle. I wasn't going to leave with just 1 bottle and so I went to customer service and asked if they had more. He called Mike and of course, Mike found the box in a few minutes. Went home with 6 of my favorite wine. I'm happy and I'm sure I'll be back at this store. Thanks Mike. read more

Came with my friend to get some drinks for myself and a get together happening later in the day. We were greeted warmly and asked if we wanted a wine tasting, mind you they asked this to my underage friend who refused politely. When we made it to the register they asked for both of our IDs and refused to sell to us as they don't allow people below 21+ to enter the store. This honestly felt targeted as we are both young adults, it was not necessary to call security especially since we were already offering to leave. I'm honestly disgusted with my experience, I've been other locations throughout California and this has never happened. I will not be purchasing from here again. read more

Peter was such a great helper. We walked in and he said hi and I knew he was gonna help us out. Peak customer service !!!

This place has just declined over time. Went in to get some infused vodka. The vodka selection has shrunk over the past few years and I had to spend 5 minutes searching for the flavor I was looking for. Went over to find some of my favorite ales, but unless you want a single California craft beer, just go somewhere else. Imports are a joke and the only thing you will find are the foreign mega breweries. Found a product that was not there last time and headed to checkout. This place has an issue with opening registers and I am third in line behind a guy stocking his Xmas party and a woman buying 20 bottles of champagne and wine. I try to get comfortable holding my basket full of liquids. I wait. Finally, the manager calls over the woman for VIP bottle service at the manager stand. He begins flirting with her and they are having a jolly old time. Must be easy for him to get phone numbers with each purchase. I finally check out and the checker asks me if I want a bag. I have 2 half liters and a six pack, of course I need a bag, I only have 2 hands. I get a bag for the half liters, but not the six pack. I now get the privilege of walking across the parking lot looking like a drunk juggling my purchase. read more

I am always trying to get into classes and tastings at Total Wine Brea, but they are always booked full months ahead of time. I was fortunate to grab a few spots for a recent Tensley wine tasting event and had a great time. I like how the event room is arranged in a horseshoe shape which makes it easy for the presenter to pour wines and everybody can see and hear everybody else when questions are asked. There was a nice spread of meats, cheeses, crackers, grapes and pate available to enjoy with the wines. Amanda from Tensley did a great job with the presentation and used the big screen TV very well to provide a wealth of information. Danny from Total Wine was the host and did a great job getting things set up and helping out. I enjoyed all the red wines but the All Blocks red blend by far was my favorite. I hope to get into some more events soon! read more

When we are in the area, we always go to this total wine. Everyone is so helpful and informative. Today we worked with Chloe. She was so sweet and let me taste some different champagne's. Then she showed us some of the wines that we were interested in and also bourbons.. We had a lot in common because we like old fashions and champagne. read more

I came here with a buddy to get some canned cocktails for a get together we were having and was profiled by the older Clerks on the Monday night shift. Will definitely never be coming here again and do not recommend it. I have worked in waiting for four years and have never once treated a customer with the disrespect that was treated with. I had the clerk also waved his hand in my face, telling me that I needed to pay now absolutely ridiculous. read more

The closest location to me. Every time I come here, I never walk out empty handed! The large selections are almost endless and I can always find something new or unique to try! Most of the employees are usually always helpful as well, and sometimes they can give you some great recommendations too. I usually get wines, whiskeys, tequilas, or even Sake. Although I do feel like the alcoholic accessories and tools are a bit expensive. But this place never gest too crowded and I'm usually in and out within under 20mins. Be on the lookout for their signage, that may show temporary deals. And I love all their descriptive labeling as well, helps make shopping a little easier! Overall, great spot for all your alcoholic needs. read more

Total Wine? Total joke. I came in with my friend (who, like me, happens to be a person of color) just to tag along. I wasn't buying anything, wasn't touching anything, just existing. But apparently, that was too much for the bitter cashier lady to handle. She decided to ID me -- the one NOT buying alcohol -- and then refused to complete the purchase. Because... logic? The whole store gave "we don't serve your kind here" energy. If I wanted to feel uncomfortable, judged, and unwanted I'd go hang out with my ex's mom. But thanks for the reminder! read more

They have such a wide selection of drinks and the prices are way better than BevMo or the grocery store.

Love to come here to get Brewery X seltzers and beer. They are not always in stock, but at least they carry them. Recently, I bought two 12 packs of seltzers. After I got to my car I looked at my receipt and realized they overcharged me a dollar for each 12 pack I went back inside and they gave me what was overcharged A few days later I was in the store and I was curious if they corrected the price. They did not! I told the same manager that was there a few days before when I was overcharged. He laughed and asked me if I was checking up on him and I replied to him that I was! This time he took the tag off the shelf and I assume he was going to correct it. It is very disappointing they did not correct it after they overcharged me a few days before. Pay careful attention to the actual price when you shop here. It was not that much money, but it was the principle of the whole thing. Just think if they charge each person an extra two dollars because they are not labeling the shelf correctly. Overtime they will make a tidy profit. read more

I highly recommend Total Wine & More, a little chaotic during the holidays but that is what is expected. Salespeople very helpful.

at 4:35ish on May 3rd myself, my brother, my bf, and bf's cousin walked into total wine. first thing we hear isn't hello welcome it's, do you guys all have your ID's? yes we do. we know the policy considering we've shopped at this store for nearly 3 years now and have never had issues. by the time we get to the registers that same white manager came to the registers and instead of how it normally works, when the cashier asks for ids, then checks and scans them, he felt the need to check each one of ours, holding up the line. being unnecessarily rude to people who are young and look young is distasteful. the cashiers are always super nice, managers suck. yes I understand it's your job, you don't have to be an ass, and yes you're probably reading this, I'm the one who asked if you were going to check everyone else in line? Not just our group. Which I'm sure you did, right? read more

Employee was rude and snarky with me. I came in and was looking over the wine when an employee came up to me and asked how I was doing.
