    Mediterranean seafood - AMAZING!!!!
    Anne D.

FIVE STARS!! So glad we popped into this gem of a restaurant for lunch during our visit to La Paz. The restaurant is family owned and operated, and has the most delicious food. The restaurant itself is easy to find if you're directionally challenged like us. lol. Our waiter, Abraham, was super friendly and efficient. Our group tried a few soups - the French onion soup was a huge hit! And tortilla soup, a few sandwiches (Cuban & Reuben), and the Mediterranean fish which was out of this world delicious. So glad we dined here!!

Taco chose to (scallops, chorizo, cheese, guacamole on a tortilla). Perfected!!

Nothing but amazing flavors and textures of food. I had taco churro for appetizers then a herbed beef tenderloin sitting in creamy mashed potatoes, rich gravy and pieces of blue cheese. Braised carrots and string beans. AWESOME!!!!!

The food was amazing, we shared taco choyero was so good, we had to order another. This is a special place, staff is attentive. Evening ambiance on the inner patio was lovely.

we decided to try Nim after seeing all the good reviews online and it was one of the few restaurants that lived up to the hype. For drinks we got the tamarind and maracaya Mezcalitas which well both good followed by a michelada which was also good. For the food we got the shrimp ceviche which was so delicious that we ended up getting a 2nd order, 10/10. We also got the scallop aguachile which wasn't as good but still ok, 7/10. The tuna tartare was better though, 9/10. The bone marrow was served with tortillas instead of toast. It was good but was missing something, salt maybe, 7/10. For dessert we the brownie with ice cream which was as expected, 8/10. The flan was a tiny portion but delicious, 9/10. The baklava was the star of the desserts. It was three pieces and also came with a scoop of ice cream, 10/10. Service was good and the atmosphere was fine for this dinner.

We had so much going against us... our Spanish sucks ...we're trying to stick to keto. But NIM really saved the day for us, with no modifications. We came back a few times before the end of our trip. They were welcoming and accommodating for both our dietary and language barrier needs. We got both the New Orleans Oysters and the Rockefeller. Both have this last little bit of broth in them that is just spectacular. I'm already missing these at home! The Mediterranean Ceviche is excellent. A dramatically different take, they offered it to us with the yellowtail. And each meal we got the avocado and brie salad with shrimp, because it was JUST PERFECT! And you cannot miss the bathroom area. It's gorgeous. The tiles throughout are beautiful, but the sinks and hallway are very creative. We miss the restaurant, food, and the staff. Thank you all!

Low key but very impressive restaurant; you might get scared when you first see the menu. They have dishes from various cuisines, which is weird, but they delivered everything! We ordered many appetizers and a couple of mains to share and had a blast! Their oriental fish was exceptional, flaky, and perfectly cooked! The hummus is a must, and the tiradito was WOW! Honestly, go and order everything to share; it's perfect that way! They also have some excellent desserts that are perfect for satisfying that sweet tooth! We went on a Sunday and the service was a little slow, but the restaurant wasn't busy, it was still a great experience!

Five of us went here on a Saturday night. The ambiance is very much like an art gallery. It appeared as though the art on display was for sale by local artists. The space is big, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was spot on, and the waiter knew it because he had no problem asking for his tip in cash at the end of the service. As far as the food, I can speak for: - Beet salad - Lamb tajine with cous cous - Pork tenderloin - Carrot cake Surprisingly, my least favorite was the lamb. It was super tender, but it lacked flavor, which it shouldn't have considering how long it must have taken to cook. Everything else was delicious, and the wine list is quite expansive.

Enchiladas with red sauce! Sooooo good!!

Visiting here from Washington and stopped in for dinner. The chicken enchiladas were so good. We had both the red and green sauce. I grew up in LA where Mexican food is a staple and these were on par with the best I've ever had! Dinner was so good that we decided to go back for breakfast. We've been here for almost three weeks and this was hands down the best breakfast we've had. The eggs Benedict are served on a homemade biscuit that will melt in your mouth. The Hollandaise sauce was so good and clearly homemade from scratch! The service is fast and friendly! Give NIM a try you will be so glad you did!!

We asked for our bar tab and told the hostess we were leaving , we did this several times and then the waiter showed up part of our order. The food was cold to touch and the sauces had congealed. We again refused the order and asked for our bill. After 5 minutes I went to the bar to ask what we owed and the waiter presented a bill that was not ours . I questioned the bartender and he agreed that was not what our tab. The owner was at the bar had an unapologetic attitude towards our negative experience. Looking at old photos of the exterior, it's no wonder we've passed this place up every time we've driven through. It was around evening time when we noticed their business sign -bright and vivid. We were familiar with the restaurant in Cabo so we knew the seafood would be good. We had to stop by as we were too starve to wait. We were greeted, seated and given menus immediately. A complimentary tea cup size fish broth arrived at our table; it was bland, but hot. I ordered my usual mixto civeche as my partner with her usual clams. Our food and drinks arrived in no time. While she had no complaints, unfortunately, my ceviche was not what I had expected. I figured since I liked the Toro Guero in Cabo so much, La Paz location would not disappoint. My mixto ceviche was dry and was missing seasoning. It was missing a "kick." Nonetheless, I lemoned it up and finished the entire dish without issues. Like I said, I was hungry. We returned today before our flight back home to San Diego. I wanted to try something new. The shrimp burrito was ok. Not alot of shrimp, too mushy due to guacamole and the tortilla fell apart....to heavy and wet. I used a fork to finish the rest. Staff members are attentive. I would return again and maybe try sometime different

We were a Party of 13 and they made us climb tiny stairs to the second floor whilst the entire restaurant was empty on a Friday night. That should have been the first sign to avoid this place. The assigned 2 waiters to 1 table and both didn't speak English. We ordered a blended Pina Colada and they wouldn't understand. Are you kidding me? Next, we placed orders and they got 4 of the 13 orders wrong. For example, our son eats his burger plain. They brought it with cheese after about 30 minutes on a night with no other customers. We complained. Then, the manager comes and raises his voice with us saying we said "with cheese." Okay buddy, we have been ordering our food the same way for many years. Just accept your mistake and re-make; but he raises his voice and gets aggressive. BEWARE! Avoid! We ordered Tecate Regular and they brought Tecate Light. Then they get upset and raised their voices to us. Not acceptable. They would not accept fault in messing up the orders yet the manager had the tenacity to raise his voice and yell at our party. We advised our AirBNB host to advise all guests to avoid this place as well.
