We walked by this spot two days in a row not paying much attention to it. Today, while looking for a place to eat that had lobster and fried fish, it showed up in our search. My husband and I came to La Paz not only for the beaches, but also for the food. This place has been the highlight of our trip! The service was amazing and the food was even better! Found this restaurant on yelp. Lucky for us there wasn't a lot of people eating there at the time. Service was quick and server very patient since this was our first time eating there. I had the shrimp with white sauce. On my goodness it was amazing! Got full eating the vegetable rice, potato salad and shrimps. Lots of shrimp! I also ordered the shrimp ceviche and that was delicious too! Party also ordered a fish dish, absolutely amazing! Shrimp with garlic sauce that was good, and a shrimp combo plate (coconut shrimp, fried shrimp, and shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped with bacon) that was ok. Came with papaya dipping sauce. FanFreakingTastic! Started with Jamaica. It was perfect as jaimaice drinks should be. Not too sweet and not too tart. And especially not watered down. We then moved on to the Molcajete Aguachile. OMG! It was so delish I wanted to bath in the lemon, chile sauce. The fresh amd abundance of shrimp, octopus, clams, scallops and abalone with a hint of chile super yummy. I totally forgot about the table chips and salsa (Marlin Sauce) Devine! My sis got the Pescado Frito; they first brought her the fish to make sure she was good with it. Not only was it caught that am and enormous, but when it came out was perfectly flaky and after mouthfuls of ecstasy declared it indubitably wonderful. I ordered the Pulpo in Ajillo. The set up is great and at times I've driven by there and just the fact that it seems so festive has made me want to stop by. I've eaten here on two occasions and both times the food was OK. It's priced a little on the higher end, compared to many of the other places that taste better. The service was fair, nothing special. My father always likes to take us here when we come to visit. Situated by the ocean, it's relaxing to feel the breeze while you dine in their open air patio. The server wasn't very attentive but that was fine since we came with an aunt who is local. I ordered the Agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus Tea). I prefer that type of drink to be sweet but it tends to vary on who makes it and this one was more tart.
