Delicious!! This is my second time here in La Paz and I love that this restaurant is literally right here located a few steps from my Hotel. It has a beautiful view of the ocean, the staff was friendly in explaining the dishes, they bring fresh bread with Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, cheese and chili. Reservations is how they can best seat you. I ordered the Tartufo which is a Tagliolini pasta with black Truffle sauce topped with black pepper and Parmesan cheese. If you want to add protein options of chicken or shrimp, it's extra $220 pesos. It was delicious. Definitely would come again.

Amazing food, beautiful views, delicious wine, air conditioning and friendly service. What else do you need? Also on the Main Street so easy to find parking and get to!

Risotto

We dine last night at this gorgeous restaurant. Octopus carpaccio was amazing as appetizer. My husband choose the linguine with seafood and I got the risotto. Both dishes were fantastic. Great service too. Thanks for the hospitality.

Don't miss this restaurant! Air conditioned fine dining with great service, delicious food and an amazing view. The chef is on point with his flavors and presentation. I look forward to going back soon.

This has got to be the best waterfront, ocean-view restaurant in all of La Paz. If it isn't the best, it sure is the fanciest. Four of us went here on a Sunday night and we occupied the large table in the middle of the dining room. We started with the bruschetta and the Cesar salad. The bruschetta was served two ways (one slice with tomatoes, balsamic and basil, the other wish mushrooms and cream). Both were out-of-this-world good. The salad ... well, how can an Italian place mess that up?) We then split the following: - Risotto (the sweetbread was a bit of a surprise, but I had no idea what the hell it was at the time. In retrospect, it wouldn't have mattered. In fact, I would have ordered another serving). - The lechon, AKA maialano (wow, is all I can really say) - Squid ink linguine, aka Mora al Mare, with shrimp (packed with flavor) - T-bone steak (fiorentina), cooked perfectly medium-rare - Panna cotta - Tiramisu Everything was absolutely delicious. Five-star meal. Five-star service. Five-star atmosphere. Highly recommended, but bring your wallet. Between all that food and 3 bottles of wine we only managed to drop about $8100 MXN, before tip, or around $500 US.

What a beautiful and cozy place! Make a reservation! We didn't have one, but they still accommodated us at the bar. Fernanda, the bar tender, was a star. Made all cocktails on the spot, from scratch. The wine selection was great and the food very tasty. Highly recommend!

Wow, just wow!! This food was by far some of the best food I've ever had! The crab bruschetta, OMG what a portion of crab! On crisp toast, and piled on with crab, this dish was delicious! Next came the ink pasta filled with octopus, shrimp, and scallops! If you're a seafood lover like me, this dish is the ultimate find! Ended the night with some crème brûlée and needed a wheelchair to escape! What an amazing place with great staff and bomb food!

Fantastic ambiance in warm dining room overlooking the Malecon. Excellent menu, service, drinks and wine list. Presentation of all offerings is simply art at its best. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant and kudos to the chef and staff.

Locos Por la Pasta is a hidden gem in Zona Central La Paz for vegans! Perhaps even more notable is…read morethat this restaurant is so vegan friendly that their vegan options are already clearly marked on the menu so you don't have to stress over modifying dishes or play twenty questions with your server. I stumbled upon Locos Por la Pasta after stopping next door at a vegan cafe. That cafe informed me they were closing and that I had to take my food to go. However, they told me this place had "at least five vegan options" so I figured it was worth checking out since I wanted to sit down somewhere for dinner. The large sign outside stating they have vegan options seemed promising, and I was seated immediately and given a menu in English upon request. I wish I took a photo of their menu because the vegan options were plentiful: homemade pastas, pizza, salads, and appetizers -- all clearly marked with a "V". They also had an impressive craft beer list. FYI, you can find their menu online via Google maps. With so many options, I had a hard time deciding but ended up choosing one of the three vegan ravioli options. It was a homemade spinach pasta filled with mushrooms and vegan cheese and topped with a light tomato sauce. I'm a big beer fan so I chose a tasty Baja Brewing stout to enjoy while waiting for my food. My thoughtful server even brought me a chilled glass to pour the bottled beer into. My ravioli came out quickly, and I was delighted to see the amount of care put into making it. It was beautifully presented, and the flavors were well balanced making for a delicious and filling meal. As a home cooking enthusiast myself, I found it really fun to watch them cooking in the open kitchen. It was also really cool to see that this restaurant appears to have a woman head chef, with an all female kitchen staff, too. With delightful vegan options, friendly service, reasonable prices, and a great beer list, I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in La Paz. Thanks for a memorable meal, Locos Por la Pasta!
