I think they provide well needed products but they definitely need to return phone calls. In that way, very frustrating.

A unique gift for a friend you love, especially a girlfriend, although there are delights for everyone here. 2. A unique shopping experience. If you love a plethora of great stuff that makes you smile and think "this could be a great addition to my space/wardrobe/life", this is the place to go. 3. A unique addition to your wardrobe. Here's where they really shine. Carefully curated options, many distinctive and interesting and so very touchable (OMG their jackets!) that, if they align with you, are so very in reach of nearly every budget. I'm surprised over and over at how reasonable and almost cheap (in the money sense, not the style sense) their things are. 4. A shopping experience that makes you smile. So many smiles at The Hunny Club. 5. A beautiful funky space. The store is not large, but it's plenty big enough. But within it, well, we're back to something that makes you smile. 6. A warm presence. Zena (I think I got the name right) has been there each time I've shopped, on Saturday. She may work other days. I hope she does. She's stylish but in an approachable way. She is uniquely herself. And she has great energy. She won't follow you around. She will, however, answer questions with a lightness of spirit and warmth that can't be faked. I always hope she's working, and so far, she has been and it makes the visit better. 7. Cool shit. Nostalgia things. Provocative things "pussy power" stickers or something like that but definitely the word pussy is there. Subversive Sacramento stickers. Magic 8 balls on keychains. I'm sure things change, but I trust their eye and what they buy. 8. A soft landing place. Giant couch. Chairs. Resting spaces. Not gonna sum it up. Too many words already. The takeaway? Get your ass to The Hunny Club. You won't be sorry.

Last time I went I went to the R street location. They had tons of cute clothes, jewlery, accessories, prints, artwork etc. Lots of trendy pieces and handmade stuff as well. A lot of the stuff was 90s/00s/Y2K themed. Perfect if you want to get gifts for someone's birthday or accessories for yourself if you have a party or rave coming up. The prices varied as well on items. Staff were so nice too!

They have gifts for every taste and you never know what you're going to find that you just have to have for your own place. With selections of items from jewelry and stickers to ceramics, candles, lotions, children's items, and more. Some of my favorite items to browse are the candles for the latest seasonal scents, the local items, and the ceramics. The best part is that they refresh inventory and bring in seasonal items so everytime you visit there's something new to look at. On top of the great variety of items for purchase, they partner with local businesses for events and experiences where you can craft, learn more about products, and get hands on. They're bringing the community together while uplifting other small businesses. The team here is always friendly, and if it's not the owner it's typically another small business owner so you can make small talk and learn something new. The pricing ranges based on the products and brands that are carried but I've found some great deals and feel like all the products I've purchased here are well worth the cost.

I've been here a few times and wondered if they were still in business and there, they were. They haven't changed a bit. They are tastefully decorated in living room sets that are retro. We are shopping for a love seat so my husband sat in all of them hoping to find one. He liked the red minimalist one the most. The only thing is it looks like it might fold out to a futon, but it doesn't and we really need one for when my mother in law comes to visit and other visitors. They have so many items that I kept pointing to and saying "We used to have one of these." The most memorial items were the Pyrex, which my parents still have and a rotary phone which my parents still have just in case the electricity goes out. They also have the push button one and my parents have one of those too. My parents request to keep their land line and just have the local plan which they use to call their friends. They are afraid the power will go out and they won't be able to call anyone for help. And the power does go out in the winter on a regular basis where they live so this is really good for them. The new phones all use electricity. This shop also has lots of cases of jewelry and their broaches were on display on a mine mannequin. They were very sparkly, but I didn't have the time to really browse as the furniture took up most of my time. As we were finishing up my husband made the comment that he really needs to bring his sister and her husband here as she loves these types of store. They are planning on visiting so we'll be taking her here and to Zocalo too as shopping bring on a appetite.
