I came here today looking for a engagement dress and had the worse experience. The woman didn't even acknowledge my fiancé and I when we walked in. I pointed at a dress that was on mannequin and the woman said oh that's a small size. I told her it's my size and she put it in the fitting room in disgust. I was looking for other dresses also for bridesmaid and she kept suggesting a bigger size, I lost over 100 lbs and am a size 8 and she kept pointing at 14's. Due to this I will not be returning nor ordering any dresses from here. RUDE ! read more

The first rule in customer service is to acknowledge the customer. The lady stated that they were busy so they couldn't greet us. I would not spend my hard earning monies in this establishment The lady even said to my daughter did you look at the price of the dress?? Then she told her she cannot try on the dress, smh. Me and my daughter were on the hunt for the perfect prom gown. It needed to have lots of bling and be unique. We didn't want anything "princessy" or too sexy since my daughter is curvy but still a kid and I wanted the best for my daughter and wanted her to look classy and elegant. I had seen a gown on Nile boutique's instagram account. Immediately fell in love with it and called and spoke to Dina. She told me the price and available colors over the phone. My daughter's prom was magical and we want to thank Nile boutique for having the perfect gown .dresses are unique and very reasonably priced . Gorgeous merchandise. But I was very disappointed in the customer service after I paid in full... before getting my dress. If the dress comes in and either doesn't fit or you just don't like it... Tough luck...Which is the policy I simply can't understand but it's my son's wedding and I love the dress... over $500 for a dress and I'm given the dress in a simple plastic bag... The type of plastic used for garbage bin... With an opening at the bottom and later after I left left the dress slipped off the hanger and onto the floor. I think for those kind of prices they could invest in simple garment bagsI When my dress came in of course I tried it on and I asked one of the owners to take a photo of me in the dress so I could send to my husband and a few of my friends and she took a photo of me without my head... Either she thinks I'm ugly as sin LOL , or she simply didn't care... And usually when you ask someone to take a photo they take more than one... one photo, no head. It was clear she could not be bothered. I sent them a private message stating my concerns and was completely and totally ignored. I don't want to say anymore because there are some good factors to this clothing store. Merchandise and ONE of the owners. Who is sweet and attentive. . I am reading all these negative reviews. This is ridiculous! I went into the store because I have an event on Wednesday, mind you I went 3 days before the event. The owner is sweet and fantastic. I was able to find my dress. Beautiful!!!!!! Paid. No problem. They thanked me hundred times. What else do you need ? Why reviews always have to put race in in it. People , we live in NYC. Bought my wedding dress here and at a great price!! Girls were very helpful and accommodating! Maybe a month before my wedding I had wanted to see if I could maybe get a different dress. The receipt said final sale no refunds or exchanges but when my mom asked the owner if she could do us that favor of maybe seeing a different dress she didn't hesitate wanting me to be happy for my wedding day. I ended up keeping the original dress and it was definitely the right decision. Thank you for making everything so pleasant and affordable! We also bought the flower girl frees from there too! This is the worst place in the world you can ever buy a dress from. They order you the wrong size dress and don't even know how to properly take measurements. It's very unfortunate I spent $300+ and end up walking out of the store with a sample gown that has clearly been tried on by many before me. These people have managed to mess up every single dress for every single girl in the bridal party I am in as well. And apparently the "manager" doesn't ever actually go there as every time we have tried to make contact with her "she isn't in". I'm not sure how you train your workers but I would assume when a problem arises that is too much for them to handle, the first thing they should do is call the manager. How do you let paying customers walk out with the wrong dress ?? Terrible service. read more

Omg never again beautiful gowns and they were very friendly! However I was sold a very expensive dress that just needed to be altered just a little well when I went to the Taylor I found 100 other problems inside the dress either someone bought it ruined the inside and returned it and then they sold it to me or someone too big for the dress tried it on and ruined it or maybe it is just how it came whatever the case they sold me a damaged dress and I had no time to return it cause I needed a dress so I had the Taylor fix it and figured I would just give them a bad review. Never again don't go here unless you want to be ripped off. I learned my lesson and I won't go here again read more

The owner of the store along with the coworkers here were absolutely amazing!! So sweet once you walk in and make sure to help you with whatever you need. They made sure they knew my budget and worked around it to help me find the perfect prom dress. I'm beyond happy and can't wait to wear my dress!! It's absolutely gorgeous! They had so much patience with me and my friends trying on literally all the dresses in their store!
