I wanted to send an impromptu floral arrangement from a local florist to a good friend who recently lost someone close to her and found Niko's via a Google search. The reviews for Niko's were mostly positive so I decided to go ahead with the order. I called the store and spoke with a helpful young lady named Marilyn who took my order. She took the time to ensure that the order was exactly as I specified and everything was confirmed without incident. I ordered the deluxe Hope, Grace, Faith arrangement which cost $124.99. The total was $148 with tax and delivery. I received an email confirmation immediately after placing the order and emails once the flowers were en route and finally delivered. I placed the order at 10am and the flowers were delivered at 10:45am. Later my friend sent a photo of the flowers and they were beautiful. They didn't appear to have been packaged in a similar vase like the photo online though. It was hard to tell from the photo she sent but it appeared as though the arrangement was on a table instead of being a floor vase like the online photo depicted. Even still, my friends and I were happy with the order. (I placed the order on behalf of a group of friends) I'd definitely order from Niko's again. read more

This place didn't disappoint...I came in on a Sunday afternoon needing a dozen roses for my grandmothers birthday and the attendant happily assisted me! She asked if I had any preference and I told her to use her imagination and she certainly did...I regret not taking a picture of the finished product because it was BEAUTIFUL!!! The florist added eucalyptus and other greenery to the bouquet and the presentation was breathtaking. My mother in law (who lives in the UK) sent me flowers through this shop because they are close to where I work. The day the flowers we delivered, I had left work early to work from home. The delivery person, who came into the office, spoke with several colleagues that all said that I worked there, confirmed my name, and that I would be back tomorrow but leave the flowers. The delivery person refused to leave them. Even though they colleagues assured them that I'd rather come pick them up that afternoon than have them be redelivered the next day. The florist then charged my MIL a $10 redellivery fee. I can understand the re-delivery fee if they were unable to deliver the flowers due to things like the location being closed or not getting confirmation that the person would be in later that day or the next. I wanted to get some flowers for my niece and her husband to welcome them to the area. I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with Niko's Flowers. I searched for florists near where they live and Niko's popped up. I placed my order, and found out after the fact that I had the wrong address for them. However, Niko's figured out where the flowers were to go, and delivered them without my having to jump through hoops, or even correct my mistake with the address. Plus, I was just sent a picture of the flowers I ordered and they are EXACTLY like what was in the picture, if not even better looking! (Not my experience lately with other on line ordering from florists.) I can't tell you how pleased I am with the service I received. I highly recommend Niko's. When we were planning our wedding we requested quotes from numerous places and Niko's prices beat every quote. Communication was not ideal (we went back and forth on simple things that we would not have had to go over again had he just taken notes), but it really equalled out when the flowers were delivered on the day of the wedding. The bouquets and boutonnieres came out beautiful, as he made them exactly how I described to him that I wanted them. I would recommend if budget is important to you. I was sent flowers for my birthday and the condition the flowers came in was embarrassing. The flowers are dead and damaged, there's less than half a vase of water and no bow or ribbon on the vase. The vase didn't come with any wrapping around the flowers or have any kind of protection so I'm sure transporting them was a complete disaster. The doorman told the delivery man how terrible the flowers looked and he said I'm just the delivery guy. I'm not sure if this place takes absolutely no pride in their product or just doesn't care, but don't waste your money. You're better off picking up flowers from the grocery store. read more

I've been here two times. I'm giving Niko's 4 stars because I usually end up with a nice, FRESH bouquet for an ok price. In fact, the first bouquet I got stayed nice looking for nearly two weeks. I just got the second one, so we'll see. The only downside is that every time I go there, I kind of feel like I am haggling with a street vendor. They usually have some pre-made bouquets in vases for prices that I think are way to high. They try to sell me on those, until I say "I'm just looking for a medium size bouquet, no vase." Then, they try to sell me the pre-made ones for just a LITTLE lower price (still too high) without the vase. Finally, they agree to just make a bouquet for a price I tell them. Still, I kinda feel like the selection process of the what goes into the bouquet is kind of out of my hands, and they just make something. Some other flower shops try harder to see what you want, and then work with you to make it. But like I said, in the end, the bouquets normally look great, and are super fresh. And the price usually ends up being what I am willing to pay. I just wish I didn't have to anticipate haggling when I go. read more

Ok listen VERY carefully for all those people out there that want to woo and WOW their spouses, friends, bosses or lovers - I am from the East Coast and found Niko just searching by zip and now use him all the time - in fact exclusively! This guy is not a florist he is an accomplished artist that uses flowers as his canvas. You cannot get more incredible arrangements at a fairer price than with this guy and HE NEVER EVER MISSES! My girlfriend works in an office and the normal reaction on VDay is "Wow all I got my wife was a dozen roses where did you get THAT?!?!" Also has never missed on a single note and my notes are long and sappy. I am picky, discerning and have high expectations and have never seen better than NIKO. I was extremely disappointed to return home to a vase full of a dozen dead roses left in the entry way of my condo without any water and no air conditioning in this area. I called three times to discuss this with Niko's Flower Shop and they said it was not their fault. They blamed it on FTD and then found out it was not placed through FTD after two calls to FTD. I find it to be poor business to leave flowers in an entryway of a condo without any air when no one is home. I feel terrible for the sender who sent this....I do not have the heart to tell them about this. Very disappointing! read more
