We walked around the city for a while and found three Italians, a Chinese, and a Brazilian place, but only one place seemed to have somewhat of a Norwegian admosphere, Nikkers.
Long wooden tables that are occasionally shared with strangers, a fireplace in which you are welcome to throw a piece of wood. We ended up going there two nights in a row and I wonder if there were any non-Norwegians in there on either of these nights.
The quallity of the food is only average, and the service is done by young girls who seem to have little experience, yet are friendly and helpful.
Next to the restaurant is the Nikkers Sportsbar. The restaurant and bar have separate entrances and I can only say that the sportsbar seems to look cozy, from the outside, althougth there is no music but sportsmatches comming out of the speakers. Even the once outside. read more
