Food-wise the prices were pretty decent (from an American perspective). I ended up trying the moose burger and it was well worth a try. The actual meat is slightly gamey--not as satisfying as a beef patty, but the mix of the cranberry jam (or some sort of berry jam?) they put on the burger actually mixed very well with the overall dish. The fries tasted great and there were more than I could finish. The only thing I think could be a bit better is the ventilation, but that's a tough battle when you're slingin burgers.

Lykkelige Dager (correctly translated to Happy Days) is open six days a week from 9am to 5pm and is a great place to stop by to pick up a healthy lunch or for a take out dinner. Everything is prepared fresh and from high quality ingredients. We highly recommend a visit. Parking can be difficult at times in downtown Lillehammer but there's a parking lot (metered as is everywhere in town) up the hill and behind the larger building.
