It's a bit quaint (was an old church), so you don't have to dress up. But the entertainment is excellent. I went to see Tulsa! A Radio Christmas Spectacular. It was very funny and highly entertaining. The acting was very good, especially for community theater. The set design was simple, but set the mood appropriately. And the script was hilarious. My only problem was that I sat in the front row on the far side, so I had to turn my neck to see the left part of the stage. In addition, the keyboard was on my side and I couldn't always hear the actors. It wasn't enough to ruin my show, but I will look for a more center seat next time. Afterwards, they served hot cocoa and gave out candy canes. There was time to interact with the actors if you chose to. My husband and I enjoyed our time here and will be looking forward to another show in the near future.

Plenty of parking for the building, but also because it's part of a campus (aka: there are other buildings) there's extra parking from those other buildings that could be used too. The entrance/ lobby area is in the smaller side, especially compared to something more professional of course. There's a few box offices where you can buy tickets. I thought it was nice that they had more than one so it doesn't get too congested with people trying to buy tickets all at once right before a show. The auditorium is nice and fairly standard as far as it being a college auditorium. It's not fancy but it's definitely a step up compared to maybe a lot of high school auditoriums, as it should be. There's a pretty good amount of seating, probably the perfect amount for this venue and the amount of people that would be coming to stuff here. There's an orchestra section of seating, a walkway, then another section, and there's a balcony as well. The lower level is wheelchair accessible, where they have a section of a few regular chairs set up so that they can be removed (and replaced with a wheelchair) and the people sitting next to them can have seats too, though again you won't be sitting in the normal seats that way. Speaking of, the normal chairs were your classic red velvet folding down theater seats. I didn't sit in those (because I was in the wheelchair section with someone) but I'm sure they'd be comfortable, which is nice considering a lot of times you'll be sitting in them for one or two hours at a time!

There is things that I…read moredon't remember from my childhood and that's all the lights from the highway and the lights from the People coming in theater, and not shutting their lights down,,,.. i'm on my way management does not have a sign out saying check your lights down and they have a spotlight out under the tree at the road that is shadowing our place that we're setting, which is very irritating. The flashing of the lights from the cars there's times that you can't even see the movie. I hope they do something about that because we bought passes for the summer and I plan on going at least two or three times a week. The times that we had at the drive-in.

A choir of 200 voices was heard during that performance. Spectacular. This is a beautiful venue. Great sight lines, comfortable seats and very good sound. The Signature Symphony is comprised of Tulsans unlike symphonies in other cities who employ professional musicians from out of their direct area. It's wonderful to attend Signature Symphony performances and support our local musicians.

The museum itself isn't large, but there is a wide array of information available here. There's a room dedicated to the Tulsa Race Massacre, another exhibit dedicated to Tulsa restaurants, a small gallery featuring some local art, and more. My favorite room featured lots of little knick-knacks, an informative digital reference option about the definition and history of lynching, as well as public health history. (Notably, this room also has a KKK member's cloak and hood; it has blood on its collar. Please tread carefully if this kind of exhibit is painful for you.) You could easily spend an hour or two here looking around and reading the vast array of history provided at this institution. The cost to attend for adults is $10 but, as aforementioned, it's free for students (even out-of-state students!). Take advantage of all the resources here at the historical society and spend a day here and at the nearby garden center. The Philbrook is also not far!

This is such a cool event space on admiral and peoria, right next to Topeka Coffee Roasters…read more Outside it just looks like a dark grey building and it doesn't have a major marker with the name, but once you get close, the doors have flyers and information. This is where the really really free market is hosted. I think they try to have it each month. There's a great sound system and a wood pallet stage up front in the first room with plenty of space for a band to set up. It's a perfect venue for concerts, performances, and other events. There's another room with more space and two bathrooms available. The exposed brick walls have amazing graffiti, giving it a very urban vibe. No alcohol is allowed, which works for the events I usually plan.

Yes, they're showing a little age, but they were nice and comfy. The sightlines were smooth, too. I also liked the side entrance. I'm not sure if it's for VIP members or certain sections - you might double check - but it was a nice way to bypass the larger lines at the main entrance. I didn't buy concessions, so I can't comment on its state, however the ushers and other venue staff were polite and happy to help. I didn't see much parking, so you might keep that in mind. Walking - my hotel was a couple of blocks away - or using a ride share / taxi might be the best options.
