Being at the admiral, twin drive-in brings back memories from my childhood. There is things that I don't remember from my childhood and that's all the lights from the highway and the lights from the People coming in theater, and not shutting their lights down,,,.. i'm on my way management does not have a sign out saying check your lights down and they have a spotlight out under the tree at the road that is shadowing our place that we're setting, which is very irritating. The flashing of the lights from the cars there's times that you can't even see the movie. I hope they do something about that because we bought passes for the summer and I plan on going at least two or three times a week. The times that we had at the drive-in. read more

The movie was great! Lots of parking and pretty venue. I would bring a truck with a blanket in the back anytime. Make sure your car speakers can stay on without your headlights on. read more

Everyone should experience the drive in. I went a lot as a kid and it was just as fun today! It was opening day of twister...I think they could have planned a little better for concessions but once we got to the counter the service was excellent. read more

It was amazing to go to a drive-in where everything is well organized, and safe and clean. The employees were very friendly and everything started very promptly. The sound quality was great. If I recall correctly, I was seventeen when I visited a drive in last. I guess it would be safe to say we were in a classic vehicle (just because of the time lapse). :) Philbrook hosted a members' event last week. Rumble Fish was the feature to help celebrate Jason Lee's photographs. The artist previewed some of his works prior to the film. (Rumble Fish was an inspiration for him.) What a great setting to see a 1982 black and white Tulsa skyline on the big screen. Visiting the Admiral has always been on our list, so we're thankful that Philbrook forced our hand and made us go! Bigger blond boy and I'm guessing some form of management blew an accident out of portion and made a harmless mistake a bigger deal than needed be. Ended up not supporting at the concession stand as our intentions were and went back and enjoyed our second movie. Please work on improving customer service I've always enjoyed this place and would love to be greeted by kind and tasteful staff. Not a upset boy who thinks he's management and management that also did nothing to deescalate a situation that never should have even gotten that far. Who doesn't love a drive in movie!? My fiance and i went and saw Spiderman and Despicable Me 3. They were both great but i think we were wishing we had a radio to sit next to our lawn chairs. This is a great place to take the family. My wife and I bring our chairs and sit outside and the kids have blankets and sit inside the Van with the tailgate up. The concession is reasonably priced. I'd never been to a drive in before last night and my husband, Kenny wanted to see Ant-Man. We parked our car in a lot across from the screen and walked across the grassy knoll to check out the concession stand. I have to say, the prices are great at this drive in. We got movie tickets for 7 each and a snack combo which included popcorn and soda for 10.00. The one thing I didn't like is having to trek to the restroom in the dark. Great activity to do but come prepared! It's best to have a hatchback or truck you can back in with chairs or lots of pillows. Also weather affects the situation...hot, cold, wet, etc. One more bit of advice would be to bring a battery operated radio to listen so you don't drain your car battery...but if you do they will help you jump start your car. And extra note of fun, they are pretty friendly so you can bring your fur-baby to snuggle with! read more

Amazing piece of history and Americana. Open now every day of the week. Safe, fun, and family-friendly. Much cheaper than theaters! The concession stand is how they make their money, so buying food there helps keep them open and creates jobs. At the very least try the popcorn... which I recommend. All the food is great. The restrooms and facilities are new, clean, and have music piped into them! We cannot afford to lose this piece of history in Tulsa. Go as often as you can! So glad we fought to keep this open after it burned a few years ago. It is a fact that there are less than 400 drive-in theaters across America currently. I personally love drive-ins due to the ease of watching a movie as a family in a comfortable environment. This theater was one of the best I've been to, the staff was nice and the entrance fee is honestly not bad at all. Make sure to get there 30-45 minutes before sun down as the line gets rather long otherwise. The concession stand is located indoors rather than being just a small stand outdoors, which I found pleasing. The prices on food are high, but it's reasonable and they have a video before the movies explaining why they would rather you buy their concessions instead of bringing your own. Great experience, we will definitely be back next time we are in Tulsa. read more

I was COMPLETELY disrespected by Emily working at the concession stands. She had an attitude the minute we walked in and had no type of customer services. She blew up a situation by talking to my sister, who works there and has been bullying her for months, crazy and after I stuck up for her she proceeded to go off on me while stating "she's a customer she doesn't have a right to talk to me crazy like that" when she was the one that had an attitude and was disrespectful. She is going to cause this place business and as a person who has worked in customer service for 4+ years that is absolutely ridiculous. I LOVE the drive inn but that definitely needs to be resolved because that's uncalled for. read more

I love that there is a drive in here in Tulsa. I grew up with one around me my whole life and moving to Tulsa it was very nice to have one here :) I leave a 4 rating because tonight our movie was supposed to start at 9:15 and it was almost 10:00 by the time I ventured into the concession stand to ask what was going on. Come to find out it was a computer error and the 16 year old running the computer didn't ask for help for 30-45 minutes! Maybe some more training? Also, PLEASE don't have garbage trucks come and empty giant dumpsters (which are located in the middle of the two sides by the concession stand) while the movies are playing. I do really like this place, just the training, customer service of the people that work here and the feeling that I get when I go into the concession stand, like I'm being a bother to the ladies in there...that's why I have to knock it from a 5 to a 4. read more
