i wanted to go to a theater a couple weeks ago for watching the new jurassic world movie with momma, and she informed that the eton square theater, every tuesday, offers movie tickets for about 5 dollars, the least expensive non member price in tulsa of which i am familiar. nevertheless, the concession prices were very much full price, about 18 bucks for the large popcorn and large drink combo that mom got for us. however, the worker at the concession stand clearly communicated that the combo purchase comes with a refill free of charge, and also directed me to the popcorn topping bar nearby to the stand. further, the conclusion of the trial and error process of adding melty butter of mine to the popcorn was that the machine functions by pressing the popcorn bag against the back wall of the machine front and rotating the bag while continuing to press it to the machine until the popcorn gets a satisfactory amount of melty butter. and i'd advocate that the melty butter does add to the popcorn taste, though return trips for topoffs might be excessive, unless of course trying to treat and impress a date such as momma. lastly, i will add that the viewing experience was pleasant also, with the seats being of a traditional auditorium style, which i occasionally prefer because of a tendency i've got to sleep in theaters. the seats also included a dining tray at each, facilitating convenient concession consumption. plus, the movie was pretty good too. concession prices are the primary reason i have for docking a star. last read more

This theater is such a gem - thank you to the young man who worked tonight (09 MAY 23) who helped me with my son for the Super Mario movie. This mom appreciates you for sure! The prices are amazing for food and tickets, plus a nice handful of arcade games that kids like. My 3 year old loves the air hockey table. It's very nice and clean, comfy seats and some rows have tables in front of the seat for easy snacking and space when you have little ones. I only leave positive reviews here on Yelp - but I always read through what others have written before me - and truly if you noticed a negative rating on here it's just folks complaining about going to see a new movie on a Friday or Saturday night. Of course it's going to be busy and hard to find seats in that particular situation - but any other day it's a wonderfully affordable time in a hard economy right now for many of us. read more

Clean theater, huge seating area, great matinee prices, and great popcorn! The seats don't recline, but they're high backed and padded and comfy. The matinees are any show before 5 and only $4.50! Theater is dirty. They have these odd giant tables in front of the seats making it very uncomfortable to sit. The only person really working I believe is the manager. She is very rude. When ordering snacks she was hateful with me. She couldn't hear me and rather than saying excuse me she rolled her eyes and got very loud with me asking me what it was I wanted. I just skipped ordering anything else. I won't go back. The theater was empty besides one other couple. So it made me feel safe at first during covid, however everything was dirty so they're not cleaning. There are plenty of other theaters around where staff won't yell at you and they clean. read more

I am only giving this place 1 star cause i have to in order to submit this review. The customer service is horrible, the owner and manager both have no care for the customer or how they provide service. They have a no refund policy concerning tickets, and if the theatre is packed with no seats available they will not refund your money. I purchased tickets to a recent movie in advance for 6 people, when we went into the theatre there were close to 5-7 seats available and scattered. I mentioned to the cashier that there were no seats yet she said there system showed 30 seats available. I stated there was not 30 seats available. The usher went to look and came back out and stated in front of us that there were no seats, yet told the owner there were 19 available. I confronted the owner and she stated the system was correct. So my question was then who's correct the system or your usher 19 does not equal 30. I was refused my money back read more

This is a Older movie theater and cheaper one but yet a good one I would give this place a try if I were you. I went here to see a big movie a month back it was Avengers Endgame and it was packed. I like the way this place is laid out it gives the stadium feel how it is the screen was a bit out dated definitely could use a new one. Floor wasn't the cleanest but it's a floor. The popcorn tasted great they put just the right amount of butter and the drinks seemed a bit overpriced but aren't all movies. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well unlike most movie theaters. At the end of the movie we visited the games we cashed in a $5 bill and 90% of the games were out of service so that sucked. All in all this is a place worth trying so go ahead don't be shy. read more

I don't know how much energy, money, or overall planning it takes to run a movie theatre, so I'm even shy to review it. I live in California, where you spend $9 on a matinee ticket. First thing I said on a Friday night was "Aww, how cute! It's only $6 per person!" Instant plus. It's so small and private, there was a line to get through to the ticket booth, which was run by "Bubba" and "Momma". After waiting about 15 minutes to get into a movie, we found that they don't do the preview thing...or if they do, they don't do much of it. The 7:30 show was rolling fast (way past the credits and a few jokes) by 7:40. Good on them! There weren't many people there, but they have these tables in the theatre between the rows that would have been awesome for popcorn or drinks...if there wasn't a super long line for those too I might have gotten some. But the movie was awesome, and the theatre was great too! No complaints from me, other than they may need to "expand" their workforce a bit to compensate for weekend movie nights. read more

Ok so if your looking to go see a movie and your on a tight budget then this isn't too bad of a place..I find that the seat's are not that comfortable but that just might be me. There are tables in front of your seats which are a very good touch to put your food on or hey throw a leg up...it's not as if everything at this place isn't ran down by lots of teenagers and cellphone users. They are supposed to clean up after every movie but i think just like the tables that the associates are just going in there and throwing a leg up aswell as a hand, and not doing anything at all. It's a good place to go watch the new movies but remember; you get what you pay for. there have been times where the wrong movie plays or the movie starts w/o any sound. the theaters themselves tend to be a little muggy feeling and have an odor. I've been known to bring fabreeze and go up and down the aisle only because it makes a better movie experience when It smells good and not like a wet diaper. read more

This place is in need of repair, but with the cheap price of tickets, it can stay in need of repair. The last time I was there, they have removed every other row and had put tables in to put drinks on. Newer movies at a reasonable price. The concessions were more reasonable, but I think they have gone up. I like places that aren't uber crowded. Kind of weird parking, park on side and walk around front. The theatre was VERY well priced and had these cool tables in front of the row of seats. It was very dirty but besides that it was a nice theatre. Fast forward to the credits rolling, we are waiting for the scene at the end of the credits when the cleaning crew comes in and starts to clean. Sure ok, they need to clean I get it. But it's not over yet, then they come and tell us we need to throw our coffee cups we brought out RIGHT NOW or they would ask us to leave. We said we are waiting for the scene but the said again we will MAKE YOU LEAVE. And started getting VERY aggressive. We had cups from Starbucks and last minute decided to go to a movie, we were not stopped at the door with them. We just decided to leave. I love this theater. How could you not for $4 matinee? They have a nice selection of games in the front room along with lots of snack options for the movie. They have well priced combos. The theater and bathrooms are always clean. each row of seats also has a pretty large table in front of it so you can have a place to put your popcorn and drinks. I frequent here pretty often. At the start of course I was pleased with the price. 7 dollars is great. But after getting my ticket, it took 25 minutes to get a box of candy. We went there for the first time today. Its small and wasn't very busy on a Sunday afternoon. I took my son to the movies for the first time and this theater was a really good choice for us. It was small and cozy and not too dark in the theater. He loved it so that's a plus. Its a little dirty and dingy but I didn't mind it at all. I've been to worse theaters. Well after the movie cut out 4 times we decided to leave so we go back to get a refund and the manager tells us we can't get our refund because we threw our ticket away with the trash we pod in cash so they didn't give us a receipt. She finally decided to go look in the trash and find the missing ticket the customer service was horrible they didn't care at all that the movie wasn't working right and gave us a hard time about getting a refund. This is normally our first option when we go to see a movie but I will not be going back. read more

I'm APPALLED at the decisions management has made choosing to leave lights on during a movie for the purpose of employees walking through the theater in the middle of the movie to look at customers to see if they have brought food/drinks in. Not only that but they INTERRUPT customers who are watching the movie to accuse or inquire about the food in front of them. This is NOT okay. There are MANY ways to handle this issue and the way you've chosen to handle it, is wrong. My son and his friends were trying to watch a movie and men walk slowly through the aisles with cell phone flashlights blaring in their faces. This happened at key points during the movie. The movie was looking for people who brought outside food in. Crazy to pay for a movie and have it interrupted several times. When they expressed annoyance, the management was rude and unapologetic. This place has a small business feel to it- like Mom's running the tickets and sis is running concessions. The prices for both tickets and food are much lower than the brand-name theaters. The theaters are clean, and the overall experience is nice. The only knock against the place is that for big blockbuster movies you're not going to get huge screens - but the price and overall atmosphere more than make up for it. read more

Awful. I went there to see a movie and before we payed for our tickets were told there were 21 seats left in the theatre and it may be crowded. After having to wait a ridiculous amount of 20 minutes in the concession line, we finally gave up on getting any refreshments and decided to just head into the theatre. Only, when we got into the screen room every "open" seat either had a hand over it or an object reserving the seat. We then proceeeee to the front and asked if we could possibly switch films, or switch view times and come back later, and we were rudely told that coud not be done, for whatever reason that makes absolutely 0 sense tonme considering all shows cost the exact same and this theatre doesnt reserve seats. This theatre is awful. It is small. The service is the worst i have ever experienced. They have no reason. They will take your money and do nothing to appease your injustice. This theatre is filled with crooks that lie about space, and take whatever they can scavenge. I would give it 0 stars if i could. Never go here. read more

This movie theatre is not customer friendly. My husband and I went in to sit down and their was no where to sit except in the very front. We told them we wanted our money back. They were very rude and said they would find us a seat where they wanted to seat us even if it meant we had to sit away from each other. We had to walk out because of their lack of customer care. I would not recommend going there. The place looked really run down and they kept accepting more people into their theatre knowing there was no more seating. We go to this theatre often. Price is reasonable. Place is not spotless nor is everything in like new condition but you aren't paying a top price either. Love the tables that you can place your food and belongings on rather than the floor. Staff have always been very nice. Have no problem going to see movies here. Someone may have a bad experience at some point for any number of reasons but no place is perfect all the time. Popcorn and soda pop are good. So my friends and I thought id be fun to go see The fault in our stars . Everything was fine everyone was nice till about 15 minutes into the movie my phone went off and I rummaged through my purse to try and find it but before I found it a theater employee came in and asked me to step into the hall. I did and I apologized explaining I thought I had turned off before the movie , he said it was fine and told me I could go back and take my seat, so I did. then after about 7 minutes past and another phone went off in the theatre (not mine) it was soon turned off but the same employee came in and taped on my shoulder and told me to step in the hall , he told me I had to turn my phone off or I'd have to leave the theater and I explained it was not my phone that had gone off and I went and sat down. By that time I was a little pissed but then this employee came and stood right behind me and my friends for the rest of the movie. ( we where in the back row) but still worst at the end of the movie we where crying cause it's a sad movie as you know if you've watched it and this man believe it or not leaded over and told us we need to be quite!!! This is the first theatre we went to after we moved to Tulsa and we love it! The ticket prices are reasonable and so are the concessions. We actually went to a movie and had snacks for less that $20. I really like the tables in front of the seats too because it's easier to keep all your snacks in one place. It also leaves a full row between the people sitting in front and behind you so you don't have to worry about people kicking your seat. We will definitely go there for most movies. read more

I found a ring in the restroom while I was there. I asked if I could leave my name and phone number so somebody could call me if they wanted to claim it. they called me a thief. they detained me and said they were calling the cops on me for theft. they never called the cops on me, but they did detain me for an hour or more.
