We came here to watch the new Wicked movie. The seats were not comfortable. My knees and back were hurting the entire movie. Also, the seats couldn't even recline like normal movie theater seats do. The only thing that saves this review is the theater was pretty clean. I was surprised to find my seat clean before I got there. Also, they had decent service. My husband and I went to see Zootopia 2 on what I thought was a 3D screen. Apparently BigD does not mean a large screen in 3d. I guess I could have done the research but I feel like most of us would have just assumed that. So it costs more money and the screen was big and that's fine. However, when you walked into the actual theater the temperature dropped to be almost as cold as outside. I immediately went and told the front and the guy was like so just a little cold or really cold? Dude, it feels like outside in there! My parents and I went to the matinee showing of "The Accountant 2" on Sunday, May 18, 2025. We were interested in the autistic protagonist and how they would develop the two brothers' relationship and their relationship to violence. Unfortunately, in Theatre 6, the sound was horrible. I thought I was having hearing issues. Once we left the theater, we began our discussion of the storyline and plot, but instead of discussion, we had many, many questions. It appears I wasn't the only one who felt the story was obstructed by the audio system. A couple of days later, I decided to call the theater and let them know about the sound. One of the managers, "Matt," said, "Well, you can come back and watch the film again in another theater, but you'll have to pay." Very disappointing. This theater sucks. I will never go back to this theater. I definitely noticed that the employees had a shitty unwelcoming attitude. If there was a manager on duty then I couldn't tell which staff member was it. Went to see a 3:30 movie and the actual movie didn't start until after 4:00. The volume was so freaking loud that it was totally not enjoyable. At one point in the movie we couldn't hear the dialogue because the sound from the next door theater was overpowering the volume of our movie which was WAY TOO LOUD. Not only was this possibly the worst experience I have ever had at a movie theatre, but they were also unbelievably incredibly rude. The lady that handled our tickets was rude. Did not greet us with a smile, or a good attitude, and seemed extraordinarily rude. I work in customer service and would be fired for the horrible attitude if it ever managed to be as horrible as this lady. She would not let us enter the theatre without being twenty one despite us having a twenty one year old with us, and was very unprofessional. Genuinely hope she is fired, because an attitude as direly disastrous as hers needs to be handled immediately. We walked out on her (huge party) just because of her attitude. Rough experience in January to see 1917 after it had been out a few weeks. This was my 4th or 5th time here (used to live nearby). A handful of the theaters feature recliner sites; remainder do not. This was an orphaned Carmike cinemas that opened and abruptly changed ownership. Sorry to say, not for the good. Typically understaffed- seems to have 2-3 workers at front, handling ticketing and concessions. BTW - your online reservation still requires you to go to front and get tickets. I will say, if you come with a group & someone has a reserved seat in a recliner-style chair, i would (frankly) just skip right by the check in line. What's the difference ? Slow service on hot food when my friends joined for 1917. Also, the popcorn seemed to be pulled from a batch that had sat around for the evening. But i may be mistaken as i did not order any. Restrooms were so so; theater #7 (standard style) was atrocious- bad smelling, trash left from showing before us. I must say I am concerned that AMC has just given up on this location. Weird since the other AMCs I have been to stay full and fully staffed. AMC corporate - if you are reading this, you need to step in here! read more

It wasn't super clean, there were dirty napkins in the cup holders and the floor was a little sticky in places. The set up was nice though, not everybody sitting on top of each other. This movie theater is new enough that handicap access should have been better supplied at the time this theater was built. This theater has ramps, but not a single door is handicap friendly!! Not one door is automatic, nor is there a single door without door handles that swing both directions. My husband was with me, so he opened every (HEAVY) door for me (he's 77 and not strong like a younger adult). However, when we were leaving the theater, I stopped by the ladies room. The entry was an obstacle course!! I was able to push the door with my chair and immediately had to make a sharp left turn. There was no way to get in without hitting the walls with my chair. That's not good for my chair or the walls! Upon leaving, I had to call my husband's cellphone so he could come open the door for me, as I was in the restroom alone with no way to PULL the door open while navigating the very tight corner in the entry. DON'T TAKE A PERSON IN AN ELECTRIC CHAIR THAT CAN'T USE THEIR HANDS!! THERE'S NO WAY IN AND OUT FOR TWO PEOPLE SIMULTANEOUSLY!!! I'LL NEVER GO TO THIS THEATER AGAIN. read more

We are visiting Tulsa for a few days and decided to come here to see Onward with our two girls, ages 7 and 3. Yes, the line to enter/purchase concessions really is as terrible as all of the previous reviews have stated. What bothered us more, and I am surprised no other review has mentioned, was the metal bar running the length of each half wall dividing the sections/rows for the reclining seating theatre. We bought tickets for row G (second to last row in theater 1). When we sat down, I immediately noticed the metal bar in front of us was right at the bottom of the screen. I am 5'5, so anyone shorted than me is going to have it obstruct more than just the bottom of the screen. Our girls had a view of the screen with the bar running across the lower half. If you scoot down to their level, you could see. How annoying to watch a movie with a bar obstructing your view. We ended up moving seats to sit in the bottom section (two rows, but no bars in between) Just be aware that if you have young kids, and want to sit in the reclining seats, you'll deal with this issue. Also, like everyone else said, the place was filthy. We will not be back. read more

This place is incredibly inefficient. Been several times and we tend to only go when someone in our party requests the specific part of town. I'm not sure why but I'm usually waiting in a long and arduously slow line to get concessions. Make sure you arrive early. The movie theater and seats themselves are fine. Just the slow service is a major turnoff. Oh, and they let you bring back a big bucket for popcorn. The kid in front of us was wearing his as a hat. That same buck then entered the popcorn machine while filling. It's disgusting. read more

I despise this theater. I have been harassed by their employees multiple times over the years. The last straw was when they forced my husband to show them his tax ID to prove he was old enough to see an R rated film, and he is in his twenties! Some of these reviews are pretty comical I have to say. I've been here twice and both times have been 10-15 minutes before my movies had started and never had an issue. This is a place where concessions and tickets are bought in the safe line, not my favorite but they get through the lines pretty quickly. I won't be going back to this theater. They have one line for tickets and concessions. There were 3 registers open at the ticket/concessions counter, and 1 of those 3 could only be used by people who had a paid "membership" (separate line for them), and the middle register could be used by either line, but non-members could not use that one either if there were members waiting. I have many words for this place, none of which are appropriate for this forum. I will say this: there's a banner over the hallway to the the various screens welcoming you to "the big D experience!", but you really get D'd in the lobby. read more

I've gone to this theater on two different occasions because of a T-Mobile promotion and have been disappointed both times. The first time I went with my wife and a group of friends. It was uncomfortably hot the entire time, so much so that we were all literally sweating through the movie. If I hadn't been there with a large group, I would have just left. We were sitting in the back near the projector and thought maybe heat was radiating off of it, so the second time I was sure not to pick seats near the projector or the back row. The temperature was cooler but the seats weren't very comfortable. They were recliners but they were smaller than some of the other theaters I've been gone too and they were not as cushy. From now on, I am sticking with the Warren Theaters $5 Wednesday special because it's a much better experience. read more

We went to this location on a whim one Saturday afternoon. After trying to reserve tickets to the "Black Panther" on opening weekend and all the other major theaters sold out, this one got us right in. -Online ticket purchasing was so simple and user friendly. (Although you did not get to choose your seat, first come first serve!) -Clean theater -friendly and helpful staff, they do a great job -seats are roomy and have a bounce for custom comfort -spacious theater (perhaps because we were in the grand theater but still very big) -easy check-in kiosk to get reserved tickets. -concession was laid out nicely. read more

This is a great place to come watch a movie. It is a smaller movie theater but very nice and updated. On the occasions that my family and I have came here the lines have been pretty short thus makes it very convenient. Carmike Cinema is easily accessible as it's right off the highway. It's very new so it's still nice, shiny and clean. We decided to give this theater a shot when we couldn't find seats together at any of the Rogue One showings at our favorite theater. We were able to purchase tickets on Fandango, which is a big plus in my book. We were able to reserve our seats but not all showings offer seat reservations. Honestly if that luxury wasn't offered we wouldn't have gone! We attended a "luxury late showing." The movie started at 11:45 pm. Due to the time we were left with lots of seating options when we purchased our tickets. Upon arriving to our showing there were just a handful of negatives that took away from an overall positive experience. When we walked in the place was a deserted. After scanning the room we finally spotted an employee hiding behind a register at the concession stand. All the popcorn was cleaned out and we had to ask if it was okay if we bought a soda. Typically employees standing at the concessions stand ask if they can get you anything and no offer was made. I get that she's likely tired and ready to get home but also no popcorn at a movie theater is kind of a big deal. Upon entering our theater we found it empty aside from one other couple. The seats were very nice recliner chairs which is a trend I definitely appreciate! Soon after getting comfortable in our seats we began to notice the temperature in the theater dropping. It appears they began closing procedures throughout the rest of the theater and decided our auditorium didn't need heat. I know it was likely a bad choice to come watch a movie during the first snowfall of the year but we had purchased the tickets before we were aware of storm chances. We watched the remainder of the movie with our jacket, gloves and hats on. If I'm paying extra for a "luxury" showing I'd really hope to receive better service than this. I'm not saying that I'm writing this theater off. I'm just saying it's not replacing our favorite theater after this experience. Maybe we'll give it another shot in the future but it won't be this winter that's for sure. read more

First and last visit yesterday. This place was built from the ground up, so adequate heat and air doesn't seem like a lot to ask. I sat under a vent spewing cold air for 3 hours and now I'm sick. The theater was crowded - Christmas Day, and I was with family, so I couldn't move. Another small group behind me did move. I asked the supervisor to turn off the big blow. She did for a while.
