New to Englewood and missing my pizza so much. Finally tried pizza from Nico's. The staff were 1000% correct, the pizza was excellent. Candidly I'll eat any pizza because I'm addicted; however, like anyone else, prefer to really enjoy it. We picked up our pizza and the restaurant is so lovely. It has a wonderful ambiance and the staff was so helping, wonderful and really care. My friend and I both said that we should have eaten in the restaurant, next time! The pizza was delicious!! The crust was crispy and firm enough yet not cardboard. Just the right amount of cheese and tons of pepperoni (loved the generous ingredients ). We've been craving a good pizza and we have found it! Don't even get me started on the meatballs they are incredible! The manager is very nice. The only downside of this little spot is how warm it gets from the evening setting sun. No matter where you sit it is in your eyes and it is very very warm. We had lunch here two days in a row. Yesterday we ordered the Italian panini with salami, red peppers and cheese. It was very good. The have some nice beverages, with free refills, like sweet tea, farmers punch, lemonade, and hibiscus punch. Went back today and ordered a pizza to eat there. The crust was thin and crispy, ( not cracker) tomatoes crushed, instead of sauce, fresh mushrooms, caramelized onions, and sausage on it. Not skimpy on the toppings and plenty of cheese. Had lunch here yesterday. counter staff was very nice. Took our order and opened our soda bottles. We both ordered calzone's. My wife had hers with just cheese, I add ham to mine. They were served in a to go box, we opted to sit there and eat them. The crust was cooked very well and had a good chew to it. my calzone was loaded with ham, the ham was very good. my wife enjoyed her calzone. if you are going eat it there, the silverware provided is not strong enough to cut thru the calzone, you need to pick it up to eat it. We have never had pizza better than this! The Parma pizza with the lemony arugula was fantastic a small was shared with a friend. My husband had a panini with pistachio pesto, mozzarella cheese, mortadella and sliced tomatoes. He loved it and says it could have only been better with addition of fresh basil leaves. Just got a Parma Pizza from Nico B's. It was fresh out of the oven with Roma tomatoes, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, pesto drizzle, lemon arugula, and balsamic glaze. It was incredible! Crust was perfectly crunchy and thin, great texture! Toppings were amazing! I highly recommend getting pizza from here. We will definitely be back. Pizza is good but only when eaten there right out of the oven otherwise it becomes very chewy and hard to eat. First class ingredients and tasty. Looked them up online. Wanted a Margarita pizza. Happy for a new place.The site had three sizes. Ordered the large@ $25.95. We live 2 miles down the road. My husband went . The girl said it was $29.75. He was a bit surprised but said it wasn't that online. She insisted they are not online. Got it home and it was cold bottom crust was like a cracker ,not even a piece of basil on every piece. We have phone ordered pizzas 3 or more times. The pizzas are good, sauce, crust, toppings are sometimes not enough and other times appropriate. The only real disappointment is the cost of those pizzas. Outlandish. 14 inch pizzas, Vegetarian and Mediterranean are $30 00. Just don't understand the reason for that above and beyond price. The New Faull Inn is down Placita Rd and makes very good pizza, much larger, and much less expensive! Nico B is very good, just too expensive. read more
