My family lives near this gas station and have been going here because it's convenient. Today I went in with my lotto winnings and their scanner wasn't working, the owner came out and told me he would not be accepting my lotto ticket and told me I was trying to commit fraud and was very disgustingly rude to me. Treated me as if I was some criminal and made very very inappropriate and rude comments to me. He was sitting in the back on his phone and didn't want to help me. I had my 10 month old son with me and he tried to humiliate me and accuse me of committing fraud. I have never been so humiliated in my life, to treat someone as if they are trying to steal because the owner didn't want to give out lotto winnings? My child and I will never be going back to this gas station for anything ever again. Thankfully there is racetrack near by with really nice polite people working, and they were more then happy to assist me. My family and I will never step foot into this 7-11 again. I hope that nobody else that goes in on a day their scanner is down doesn't get accused of trying to commit a crime, because the owner is lazy, rude, and doesn't want to give people their prize money. If anything taking peoples money and making money off of a lotto purchase, then not giving out earnings is a crime. Thats fraud. But it's okay because it's 2021 and you can't accuse people and treat them like a criminal and tell them to leave your store without it coming back around to you. So the BBB, the FL lottery, and the attorney generals office has been notified of your discrimination and accusations. People that unhappy with themselves shouldn't work with the general public.! read more
